The service was stellar, from the initial consultation, the shampoo/deep conditioning and especially the braiding (done with gentleness). The salon staff was friendly, professional and clearly “In His Image”! I really appreciated the overall experience and left feeling relaxed, pampered and confident that I had found the perfect hair care professional in Ms. Michelle.

This was my first time at this salon and the staff was very friendly. I hadn’t realized this was a full service salon - wash and style. I went here to get cornrows.

I have type 3c hair, medium porosity, thick density and fine hair strand (The Andre Walker Hair Typing System). I also have a sensitive scalp and lots of questions.

My hairstylist, Tanya, was very knowledgeable and was accepting of my questioning about hair care and products and answered as many questions as she could. She was gentle with my hair and styled it to my preference. I’m pleased with the results.

I’m finally done salon shopping. This place was easy to find. The cherry on the top is that Diane, the salon owner, makes her own line of hair care products. They sell out quick, so deff check it out!

I just came from getting two strand twists at this salon. I have to say, I love it there. They are professional and my stylist was caring! I love the shop and the cleanliness. I will be returning.

My hair is at her healthiest since coming to Diane 4 years ago. She took the time to understand my hair needs. She started my locs and they are growing strong and healthy. Also Diane makes the best oils for your hair. Purchase a bottle your hair and scalp will thank you later. Plus the entire staff is amazing and skillful too.

Bree was the very best. I had not retwisted my hair in about 4 months but she was so gentle it didn't hurt at all (I am tender headed). She is highly skilled, knowledgeable and pleasant. If you're around and need your locs done you should really visit this store especially if you are tender headed

I came here 2x now, and both times were very welcoming, and relaxing. The first time I received service from Ms. Diane I needed major emergency relief from a current style from before. I was pregnant n just days away fr popping. When I say she revived my hair and put the .picture it truly needed back in it, and worked her magic with a beautiful style after w arms I was very very happy. This second go round I'm dying my hair. The process was quick and thorough and I never felt more relaxed. Stylists are kind and respectful and informative on almost all your questions. The hands here are very gentle, and for it to be a quiet shop it has good life. I would recommend anyone with natural hair, locs, or that may be stuck in their hair journey to come here.

I recently moved near by and have been struggling with finding a beautician, and my hair has paid a hefty price for it. I was impressed with the customer service,decor, the helpful advice on repairing my locks. I literally laughed and had great conversation it felt like family in there. I appreciate Diane the owner and Tanya my stylist! I’m so glad I googled natural hair salons in my area and I found “In His Image” hair salon. The whole staff gets an A from me! Owner Diane was very nice and respectful. She took time to answer questions and made me feel comfortable. I am very excited about possibly having a new hairstylist. The shop was very neat and clean and didn't look cluttered at all.

Had an incredible and professional experience with Diane getting my starter locks. I felt comfortable, clean, and my hair came out amazing. Also the natural ingredients used on my hair left it healthier than when I came in. I will be scheduling my retwist right after leaving this review!

The owner was very pleasant and polite. I was greeted at the door with a smile the moment that I walked in. The shop has a very welcoming and clean atmosphere. I went to get a consultation/appointment regarding my hair and I did get a chance to briefly speak with the owner. I will definitely be back to visit her again just based on her manners, professionalism, and knowledge of dealing with black hair I will be a customer.

I’ve had my locks taken care of by Diane for almost 5 years now. She has those ‘growing hands’ that everyone looks for in a beautician. She is professional and caring. The atmosphere is always pleasant and relaxing. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

Diane is an exceptional hair stylist and business owner. She has been styling my locs for over 5 years now. She is very personable and is passionate about hair. She is thorough in her service and has been considerate of my varying needs throughout the years. I am often complimented on my hairstyles, as she never disappoints! Im so glad I finally found a reasonable salon. Ive been caring for my own locs for 7 years with the amount of times ive had others do my hair counted on both hands. Im very simple, just need a nice retwist when needed nothing fancy. But my hair is extremely long and a lot of other salons like to over charge for length even tho only roots are treated with locs. Im so glad that this salon had fair prices, it was clean, the ladies were quick and professional. I will for sure be going back thank you so much Tonya and Diane. Life savers.

Loved this salon. Salon is spacious and very nice. My stylist Diane is amazing. I have been looking for someone to do a full weave and front closure that looks very natural. Diane exceeded my expectations. She is amazing! Would highly recommend this salon.

The owner and everyone in the shop was very professional and personable! Clean salon, there was music playing, and the stylist really takes the time to be honest with you about what is best for your hair growth and style! I’ll definitely come again :)

I'm new in the Jersey area and I was looking for a salon that could handle my natural hair. After a referral to this salon I was thoroughly impressed. It felt like home to be there. Everyone welcomed me as if I had been a long time client. They were able to take me in after short notice but I plan to go back. God definitely has His hand on this establishment.

My Wife goes just about every 2 week and she loves her hair dresser Diane. I love the price it cost about 1/3 less than the last place my wife visited. Most of all she looks Great!

Parents, take note: Free up hours of your time and get the ladies to give your kids a long lasting style for school! There is no where else that I'd drop my girls off to for their hair care. Ms Tika & Ms Courtney are their favorites. Everyone is professional and friendly, and the studio is always clean and filled with a positive vibe. Diane is a perfectionist and is not satisfied until all her clients are happy! Love getting my hair done there too. It's a family affair!
