Incredible customer service - thorough knowledge of products and friendliness. Always go above and beyond. They were able to save my 38-year old Hoover vacuum and provide a zipper foot for my 52-year old Kenmore sewing machine. They also rewire lighting fixtures. A wonderful reason to shop local - they know your name as you come through the door! Love this business and its staff.

Well life sucks again, in the best way, since my vacuum has been expertly repaired and serviced. Live to support local business and A&M exceeded my expectations! Michelle could not have been more accomodating and Jerry actually fashioned a part making my older model seem better than new. I never knew that like cars, vacuums need sevicing. We brought our Kirby in for service because it wasn’t vacuuming like a vacuum should. It hadn’t been serviced for many years. We picked it up just a day or so after we dropped it off and it’s working like new. This wasn’t a replacement belt or brush or anything like that. It needed professional repair and A&M did a superb job! And at a fair price.

Worked with Michelle on purchasing a new vacuum. I didn't like any vacuums that I saw in the big box stores, (too heavy, too cumbersome.) Gave us a beautiful vacuum that is lightweight and perfect for my needs. I also dropped off my Singer 301 to get a tuneup. Randy had it ready five days later. Sews beautifully. What a wonderful place! You are welcomed like you have been going there since Mr. Bozio started the business. Randy performed a miracle on resurrecting my 1985 Singer sewing machine. It has never worked better. Took the time to explain all to me. Even did extras. I am so impressed. Michelle is absolutely wonderful. Since I was so impressed, I decided to bring my Dyson stick there as it stopped working. Another miracle! Their name is misleading - they do it all. AND more than that they are honest, caring, professional, and personable. I will be a regular for sure!

Awesome Miele vaccuum. Works perfectly and easy to carry. Michelle was the best! She is so knowledgeable. If you ever have questions, ask for her. She showed us all of the features which was really helpful.

Randy is a freakin' genius! I inherited an old sewing machine and it was running well for years. Took it out to sew some curtains during lockdown and the machine would intermittently just refuse to work. By the time I got it to A&M I couldn't even remember the details of the problems. I asked Randy to just work his magic and he did!
I've taken several different machines to these folks over the years and they have never let me down. Serviced and repaired my machines in a professional, cheerful way. Always a fair price and lots of communication about the issues as work is done.

I highly recommend this shop for vacuum repairs. Michelle is the BEST. Very pleasant and professional and goes above and beyond to help. When my Miele broke, I wasn't sure it would be covered under warranty, but Michelle called the company and I was able to get it fixed at a minimal cost. So glad I found this place!

LOVE THIS PLACE! From the moment I walked into the shop, I was greeted nicely as if I had been going there for years. I bought an older Singer Sewing machine from the 50s to get checked out and when I met Andy, you could tell he was knowledgeable, especially with the model. They kept me in the loop every step of the way and I'll be bringing my other modern machine in. Glad I found this place!

I highly recommend this place. They have been fixing my vacuums for years. Their prices are reasonable, they get it right the first time and the owner, Michelle, is a class act. Very professional and always pleasant. They also sell vacuums and sell/service sewing packed. Convenient location in Milltown with Easy parking. They provide curbside service and you can pay by phone so very safe transaction.

When my vacuum and carpet cleaners were both in need of repair, I tried to take it to my old repair place. Unfortunately, it had gone out of business due to COVID-19. So, that led me to find a new place. My husband and I stumbled upon A&M. After visiting the establishment and encountering Michelle (its owner/operator), we found an established family-owned business. They ended up fixing both of my cleaners, letting me know each necessary step along the way. When we went to pick them up, they even brought the cleaners to my car!! Personable, professional, KIND, etc. I don't know what more to say except GO THERE for repairs and even if you're in the market for a new cleaner.

Friendly and purely professional service. From the initial telephone call to learn the location and if they work on my Heritage II Kirby from 1980 to a friendly call letting me know the cost of vacuum repair to proceed was an exceptional. The owner actually put it in the car for me when I went to pick it up. I have not visited this place before but it was recommended by a trusted friend who owns a Electrolux cleaner. Both of these vacuum machines are mavericks and require special attention and care. A&M rocks! Thank you.

I've been looking for a vacuum cleaner to replace my canister type vacuum. Nothing wrong with it, just hate dragging it around. Went to several large chain type stores. Since I know nothing about vacuum's I needed sales assistance. Couldn't get any sales help and the store displays were useless. Internet searching didn't do me any favors either. After finding out that there were freestanding vacuum cleaner sales and service stores I went to one a bit of distance from my home. I went to there and they service everything but sell "Riccar" vacuums. Very helpful with a great sales presentation and product knowledge. To me these vacuums were expensive, more than I wanted to spend. But I was impressed and almost bought it, but didn't. Had to look into it more. I used the "Riccar" website to fine tune the product line and find a closer local dealer. I went to A&M Discount Vacuum and met Michelle. She was occupied but greeted me immediately, saying she would help me out in a few minutes. She did. Very friendly, professional with great product knowledge. Made some comparisons and decided what I wanted. All the while service customers were in and out and she was able to professionally guide them while working with me. Overall a very constructive & fun visit with me walking out with my new vacuum. Finally used it , exactly what I wanted. I'm a happy guy. Be sure I'm not going to get warm and fuzzy over a vacuum like I do with my motorcycles. But Michele and A&M Vacuum was very much a pleasure to deal with. Thankyou!
