The sub sandwiches at John & Mary’s are always great. Fresh bread, ample & delicious fillings.
You can never go wrong here.

I see a lot of bad reviews, I am glad I did not share the same experience. The guy that gave me directions to the store was kind and patient, the store was clean (and had a cool Sopranos pinball machine) the prices are great, the wings were delicious and the staff Provided quick service. The only thing I noticed was that the garlic bread could use a touch more toasting. Ill be going back for more wings!

Surprisingly spectacular little place. My family got split up, half going to Niagara and stopped at the border so about 5 of us stopped here while we waited. We had some sandwiches, pizza and pasta. Its a simple place, so don't expect much more than a tasty meal, on a paper plate, but we came away happy and full.

Allways good sub friendly staff. Quick service. Allways nice and clean. Hope they stay this way.

If you know Depew Lancaster- you know John and Mary's. You always know what you're going to get. Great food, portions, service, atmosphere. Long time local eatery.

Stopped for a quick bite while in Buffalo for a wedding. Royal subs were on the menu, which are my favorite. Since I was afraid of dripping mayo on my dress, I got a Greek salad instead, which was delicious. It had lots of warm chicken, and plenty of feta cheese. Next time, I will be getting the Royal! They also have loganberry, which is a treat for me!

Nice little restaurant with a huge menu. The place has been around for a while and has definitely stood the test of time. We got a couple of hoagies for dinner. I got the chicken and bacon hoagie and there was a ton of meat on it! Several big strips of bacon and huge cut up chunks of grilled chicken. Everything was prepared to order and I was able to customize my sandwich with extra peppers and onions. The only bad parts about the sandwich was the chicken was really dry and hard to chew. My mom got the roast beef hoagie and, again, lots of meat on there. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a separate walkup window for ordering Perry's ice cream outside. I would definitely come back to enjoy some ice cream on the patio or try another one of their sandwiches, pizza, or wings.

Started on Harlem, then drove to Transit south of Genesee St 4 weeks ago. John from John and Marys made 12 jars to take home. We as a family grew up on it, delish, down 4 jars already 😭. If you like spice, it’s awesome. We can’t wait to go back for another A Bomb Sub. They wrapped 3 for me to take home the next day. Now I make 60 meatballs at a time. Waiting for the next round of piggies ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Vintage pizza & sub vibe. We ordered a Turkey BLT wrap and a chicken finger sub with curly fries to go. Waited about 30 mins. Close to closing and they had many customers still. Happy faces 😊 would definitely go again.

Best sausage & cappicola subs in the world. We drive 3.5 hour's just for these subs and crave them when we can't get to the Buffalo area. Sub rolls are always fresh, sausage patties are a mix of sweet sausage & breakfast sausage which gives it the most amazing flavor & then with melted provolone, lettuce, tomato & mayo, WOW. What a treat.

Just happened to stop in quick after a long day just to try ir out and i wish i done sooner! Great quality for price. Highly recommend

Great place. We had a chicken finger sub and a steak sub. It's hard to say which is better.

Great restaurant and basically has anything you want on their menu. I got two kids meals for my girls and the portions were huge. Very kid friendly place! I thought it was a little pricey for a kids meal but we would def go back.

Great job on the subs, very tasty and I really liked how even though it was crazy busy the manager training a new girl was so kind and patient with her. I worked in the food industry for years and had an amazing boss and then a boss that was a total B------- so part of my 5 stars is for the fact the manager here really knows how to be a manager and not let the big influx of customers stress her and make her take it out on her employees. She was calm, level headed, helpful, trained extremely well. People should feel lucky to work here. I see the menu has a lot more on it than how I remember the one on Harlem. I only go to the one on Harlem or in the village of Hamburg. Not sure if y'all have big menus now so will have to try something besides a sub for once. It was also my best friend's first sub from John and Mary's, which he inhaled.

I love this restaurant so much that I came on here to say,that every time I want to order my favorite combo meal (royal sub and curly q French fries),off of grubhub,I can't do so.the only appetizer option is onion rings.please go on grubhub and fix this.thanks

Great deal on a ham and cheese sub. Just like I remember from thirty to forty years ago, except Mary isn't there.

Stopped here before going to Darien Lake concert. Food was very good and the restaurant was clean too.
