Jessie's on the Water

Truly delicious food, very friendly and welcoming owners! It's nice to have a place that still has live music... makes it feel somewhat normal to be living in such weird times otherwise. Realize that a lot of restaurants are struggling right now with having the proper amount of good and seasoned servers, so try to be understanding if your serving experience isn't ideal. Be kind. Everyone is doing their best and at least you're getting a delicious meal on the water!

Just discovered this little gem of a place!! From the minute Candy greeted us so warmly, we felt right at home. A great band playing classics and a beautiful outside deck on the water, lit up nicely while you look up at the stars... what could be better!? Our drinks took a little while to get to us, but if you can’t enjoy yourself at this place and are in a big rush, go to Fridays. Drinks were great and we had the baked clams which were absolutely delicious.
We sat back and enjoyed our drinks and the band and our entrees came in no time. One entree was the best panko-crusted sole my wife ever had, along with a delicious garlic, parmesan flavored al-dente pasta. I had the morrocan tuna which was absolutely delicious and the portions were great.

My husband and I stopped in over the weekend because we heard there was new owner. Very pleasantly surprised! Greeted by very friendly staff for starters, and the food was delicious! Very chill atmosphere to relax with drinks and a great meal.. also got to listen to a great live band.. will definitely be back!

Well priced drinks! I like that in a bar restaurant. My hamburger with cheddar was spot on. My French fries (I requested extra crispy ) were probably the best I’ve eaten in years. The crab cake my friend ordered was HUGE and thankfully she couldn’t finish it so I did... yum. Great portions. My table of 8 was impressed that the new owner AND the chef came out to explain the specials and make us feel welcome . All in all a great experience. I will go again

Service is friendly and professional. Atmosphere in Jessie’s On The Water was relaxed and cozy. Waitress was truly professional. The food was well prepared, extremely tasty and the presentation is really nice.

I was a last minute Addition to play Jessie's as a musician I invited some friends & My Wife came along and The food was fantastic!! I enjoyed the venue as a performance space its tucked away in a more industrial area on the Canal of Oceanside Long Island but don't let the remoteness of its locale deter you from a place with killer Food & a very large menu Selection with everything from Tasty Burgers to sublime Seafood dishes that are 100% Godlike This is a place worth Seeking out

I went there since the new owner took over and WOW! The food was amazing, super friendly staff and oh boy what a view. This will be a restaurant I will visit over and over again, just so I can try all the yummy new items on the menu.

Handful of brand-new food items on the menu that are a must try. Bacon wrapped scallops were the best I've ever eaten. Great atmosphere and super friendly new owner!!

Went with a bunch of friends and everything was great. Waitress was wonderful and polite. New owner was friendly. Had the OBI feeling. Loved it. Can’t wait to go back !!!!

Friendly new owner, a good menu and on the water in Oceanside. The change in chef has been a positive experience. A nice place for a meal and or a cocktail with friends.
