Lia's Mountain View Restaurant

Place couldn’t have been any nicer.

First, food was incredible. As good as anything I would have gotten on Arthur Ave in the Bronx or better. Chicken Parm was clearly made with fresh crispy cutlers and fresh mozz. Delicious and slightly sweet homemade tomato sauce. Loved my garlicky tomato soup too.

Also, the service as great. Felt as if I was being served by a nice family and most likely was.

Third, the vibe was great. Locals and chill folks mixing with bar patrons there to watch sports and play the lotto. Very relaxed townie vibe.

Finally, the price. With drinks, entrees and sides was about 100 for the 3 of us with tip. When I went to nearby Rhinebeck earlier, heard I couldn’t get out of anywhere in town for less than 50 bucks a person.

If I ever find myself in town again or around I’ll be sure to come back. And certainly will recommend to anyone traveling in this direction.

Always a good time when we come to Lia’s. Food is delicious. Drinks are tasty. And the staff is really friendly and they always make us feel like family. We will continue to be a proud supporter of Lia’s.

We don’t go often but when we do we’re never disappointed. My fiancé is very picky with Buffalo wings and he’s very satisfied with theirs. I had a simple chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was super moist and had the most delicious seasoning on it. I’m craving it again but they’re closed Monday and Tuesday so I’m dying right now lol. We get pizza here a lot and love it. Nice thin crust, always perfectly cooked! Staff is always super friendly too.

Have had lunch here several times. Food is excellent, tasty and cooked as asked for. Great spot for quiet lunch. Nice spot for dinner too. Wait staff attentive without being over bearing. Food excellent and mid range in price. Popular place Fri and Sat. Reservations suggested but totally necessary if dining early enough.

Went Friday night with no reservation. Table set up for us immediately. Service was excellent. Food was amazing. My partner tried the spiced apple martini..so smooth. Braised short ribs were rich and so tender i could cut with a fork. No room left for dessert😁

The server said they were unexpectedly down a chef, which did cause a more 'formal' time frame for dinner. But the service and food were both amazing!

Unassuming space, delicious food with friendly service and reasonable prices. Views from the patio are said to be lovely, but it was closed for a private party during our visit. Reservations recommended.

Had a very nice dinner at Lia's. Was pleasantly surprised, was looking for something different and not the norms that my wife and i usually hit. Made the 20 minute drive north and found the parking lot packed... everyone was outside under the tent on a nice evening and there was plenty of room inside. Good selection of beer and wine, we went for the cider and a local bourbon, both great. Plenty of Gluten Free offerings for my wife and daughter, both of whom have celiac. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Chicken florentine was very good, my wife's pasta dish was all gone by the end of the meal :-)

It's not what I'd call fine dining, but very comfortable with some really good food. Staff was great, the crowd was older and everyone just seemed friendly. Ohhhh, the potato bacon horseradish soup was fantastic!

Was here with a large group for a night before the wedding party. They treated us well with great service and gave us the entire back porch to our large group. The most pleasantly surprising thing was the pizza. They brought out a bunch of different varieties every kind I tried was really good. Having lived in Brooklyn for nearly a decade I've learned that pizza can be loosely defined in places outside the city. This was not the case here. Didn't have any other food. They were very hospitable even when we stayed till close.

Reliable, well-managed family Italian restaurant that we are super lucky to have here in Pine Plains! The pasta dishes are all very good, but the sleeper hit here is the steak...they have a really good local steak and they know exactly how to prepare it. Ask for the homemade lemon dill dressing if they have it.

The Greatest food in a 50 mile radius. The Chef is Unbelievable. the servers are knowledgeable. I live more than a hour away. Worth the trip. Treat YOURSELF and your family. They deserve it. Their is no need to go anywhere else. Guaranteed

Had the Alfredo, very good. We are out in the back patio and the view was great!

Great food family comfortable good time

Food is excellent. Great staff. Had a great time with my family there for my dad's 72 birthday. Felt very safe and comfortable there during the covid situation we are in.

We visited On Sunday June 25th greated by a great hostess and staff. My wife had the Chicken Florentine and I had the Chicken Monreale, two great choices. Couldn't ask for a better place to eat.

We bounce back and forth between Lia's and Savona's in Red Hook but my favorite would be Lia's. The food is better (at least for my taste) and the service is much better.

Love Lia's ❤ Everything we've had here has been delicious. My favorites are the Zuppa di pesce and steak with mushroom marsala sauce🤤🤤
