New Windsor Family Medicine

We moved into the area a year ago, but I had not changed our doctors. Just made the change over the summer. Kisha was referred to me by an NP at another facility. She is truly awesome. She’s thorough and takes the time to listen to what you’re experiencing. She is phenomenal for children as well (her background includes pediatrics). My daughter loves her. Her medical assistant, Kim, is great and the front desk staff are helpful. They’re very accommodating.

I have been very happy with every aspect of this office. All the practitioners are easy to talk to and take the time to listen and assess. The front office staff are friendly and often busy with phones but still greet you. Wait times are always minimal. I highly recommend this practice.

This place is awesome. At the front desk, they are very kind, considerate and down 2 earth. The doctors are cool and they explain your health issues with u. I've been coming here for years. Even my son likes them and he is very picky about people. I only sat and waited 2 be called under ten minutes. They are fast. I would recommend them 2 all my family and friends.

I called today for an acute issue a friend was having, who did not have a PCP. The office staff, MaryLou in particular, bent over backwards to accomodate my friend as a new patient in a reasonable timeframe to deal with this acute problem. Attentive, caring, flexible - those are the words I would use to describe my experience.

I work in the medical field for 30 years for surgeons and doctors. Kisha Howard - Schramm is one of the best FNP I have ever met. She is so thorough and listens to my mother. Best medical care in Orange County is FNP Kisha Schramm💉💉💉💉🤗🤗

Extremely friendly, efficient and polite. The only Dr's office that I visit where a live person answers the phone and they answer questions quickly and without an attitude. I highly recommend

I see Kisha as my gynecologist and I made an appointment weeks in advance. I waxed the day before, got up early, shower and drove 40 minutes to the appointment at 8:30am, filled out the paperwork only to be told that they don't take my insurance. I spent gas, mileage, toll money and a few hours of my time to make it to the appointment. I'm very surprised that they never asked me my insurance information when I made the appointment. I have a well known insurance so I never thought to bring it up (also not my responsibility to bring it up?), and as the professionals I feel that they should've asked when I made the appointment. Very disappointed

I like my dr. Christina Yohannan is wonderful, easy to talk to and very helpful but not sure how this office works. I don't remember ever calling a dr office and if you are sick you cant be seem for 11 days. and then the suggestion is to go to an ER. I have a dr so I don't visit ER's. Please someone tell me if this is also part of our new world. Dr Yohannan is a 5. office working is a 1 after today's call. so rating in the middle. Tried calling main office so maybe there will be some resolve

I have always preferred woman doctors, until I met Dr. Reed! He was kind, and really listened to me. I was terribly sad to see him go, but decided I would give his replacement a try. I like Dr. Yohannan. She's very nice, but she's not the problem!..... It's the office staff! First, all of the office/nursing staff was either fired or they left. I used to call that office, and only had to give my first name and they knew who I was... Now you can't even get a human to talk to. All you can do is keep leaving messages.

Getting my prescriptions filled is a giant headache! We call and call. Leaving messages! A few times, my husband had to drive to the office, just to get to talk to a real person... Even then, half of the time, they still didn't call it in!!...( I miss paper prescriptions you dropped off yourself!)

As soon as we can get some recommendations from friends and family, we are finding a new doctor's office!!

My husband loved Dr. Reed, but sadly he retired. We stayed with the practice and saw his replacement. She was not as fabulous as Dr. Reed, but got the job done. Over the last year the practice has gone downhill. Disorganized and not helpful. Getting med refills has been a huge problem; currently the practice has not called in a needed refills for almost 2 weeks. we (and the pharmacy) have made numerous calls to try get the refill, we are told there is nothing they can do but wait for the Dr to call it in (which will likely take several more days). We have been with out the needed pills for 12 days now, the office staff is less than helpful in finding a solution to allow us to get the refill. If the doctors were amazing, this hassle and stress might be worth it... but they are not. I suggest looking elsewhere.

This place has been a nightmare since they switched to Westchester. It is a nightmare to get prescriptions filled, a call back or even an appointment to refill your medication. The secretarial staff are also a nightmare who need to learn customer service and how to work a phone to actually call patients back.
