The customer service was great, and everyone made me feel very comfortable and informed me of what was going on throughout the whole process. The process was not as long as I expected it to be, and wasn't as much waiting as I thought. My ultrasound was great and the ultrasound tech was very kind. The medicine during the procedure made me feel very relaxed. The doctor and nurses who did my procedure were very compassionate and accommodating to me. Overall my experience was amazing and I highly recommend this place.

My stepfather went here for a heart attack. They acted quickly and helped save his life. The hospital and staff were great. I am very thankful for RUMC and their cardiology team.

I had a emergency visit here this past Friday & i just have to say that the service here was outstanding. Dr. Pourshariati & staff were amazing. Very kind group of ladies that made me feel heard & comfortable during my stay. Dr. P was very patient and listened to what was bothering me. I have a fear of hospitals but she reassured me every step of the way. I also have a fear of needles haha but the nurse who attended me was super funny & kind, that she worked with me. Hopefully i don’t have to come again but if i were too, i’d def come here. Thank you ladies!

I was writing my reviews for a one star rating for the 3hours I been writing and treated like nothing about the medical assistant. But Dr Youseef Hany came and I would give him five star rate. He's very patience and caring especially. He explains what are the next step and details we need to do after getting discharge. This doctors shows how Carring and being patience.

I just gave birth to my baby here a few days ago . I got induced and enjoy the hospital and wish I could do it over again . I was determined to give birth at this hospital because I was in the Bronx but I been getting prenatal care at rum-c . People in Staten Island like to go to Staten Island hospital to give birth because I believe it’s at a nice location but Rum-C hospital is good and nice I had my own room the rooms were nice and clean the people were nice and helpful and the food was good :) I recommend

I have had ambulatory surgery here 3 times now in 3 years. This hospital is wonderful and is amazing to everyone that walks in here. The whole staff is so kind and really truly cares about everyone. Marc is the best and when he wheels you into the operating room he keeps you so calm and also Anthony is the nicest person. Would highly recommend this hospital for surgery.

I have never wrote a review before, but I felt compelled to write this one. One week ago I arrived at RUMC with health issues. I must say I was greeted the moment I stepped in the door. I was quickly registered and in triage in a matter of moments. Keep in mind this was the morning after the super bowl so I figured I would be sitting for hours lol. From there to a room much quicker than anticipated. I can not thank everyone enough from house keeping unit to all the doctors that work so hard . I also really want to to thank all the nurses and staff on the forth floor. They are second to no one. As busy as they are they managed to care for my every need and somehow make me feel like I was their only patient as busy as they are.
Thank you again for professionalism!

Currently going to RUMC for prenatal care and cannot wait to give birth at this hospital. I birthed my oldest and twins at SIUH and the hospital is no longer what it use to be. The staff at RUMC are helpful, professional, and kind. They don't make you feel as if your bothering them. I also love the ART that's in the hospital. It feels like a safe, relaxing and calm environment to have a baby in. The labor and delivery staff were AMAZING when I went for a check up. If you are a mommy or daddy to-be consider going to RUMC to have your little one. See you in September!

Today 2/13/23 I went into the new emergency room and had a great experience from the valet parking to the triage nurses it was unbelievable the new facility is state of the art and the nurses are great! It’s about time Staten Island has a great hospital like this! I drove from across the island to avoid Staten Island hospital I’m glad I did! Great job RUMCY!

My son had ear tube surgery on 2/21/23. The nurses, staff, doctors, and assistants in the Ambulatory surgery department were beyond wonderful. I want to specifically shout out RN's Antoinette (Annie) and Diane (recovery), they went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right!

Out patient procedure done. I was little concerned with my pre-op call, to make the pre operative appointment, the nurse on the phone said “I need to confirm some info first”.. That- to me, sounds like; name, date of birth, address… it was actually personal information, there could have been a better warning than that, before she blurted out the reason for my surgery that I was keeping confidential from everyone around me.
The post op nurse, she was amazing. Understanding and very caring.. respected my privacy with care and didn’t pass judgment. Dr. Heltzers whole team was great..

We had an unexpected visit to Emergency at RUMC when a junior teammate got injured during a game. The EMTs were professional and very friendly. Upon arrival we were placed in a semi secluded area while waiting for a room(10-15min wait)We arrived in sweaty shorts and jersey but were provided blankets to keep us warm from the AC. A nurse/aid kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed and as comfortable as possible.
We are from Bermuda and the rest of team at the field is continuing games so the extra care offered was very appreciated. We were pretty easy going and happy with the blankets and food.
Since from out of country, we put a little curve ball in the normal process. We had a flight to catch the next day. So in the end, after results and determining it could be safe to travel. The injury got immobilized and prepped for the flight home for a specialist on home turf.
Thank you for the exceptional service.
As well, thanks to the security guard at the main lobby that looked out for us and called us a cab so we could get the rental car at stadium.
Great service but we don't want to come back :) we want to be injury free :)

I stood at this hospital for 12 days. 9 in SICU. It was near magnificent! I have never stayed at a hospital before and it was the best experience at Richmond! After having a major surgery all the nurses, doctors, surgeons, and staff were very attentive. Even the students are great. The scariest time of my life was handled with such professionalism, care, and eagerness to save me. It's clean, mostly quiet at night. You're always going to come across that one person that's rude but it fails in comparison to the Great Hospitality that I was shown by the rest of everyone who attended to me. I recommend this Hospital very strongly! Thank you to all the nurses! You are amazing! God bless everyone at Richmond!

Every doctor or nurse I had from the ER to my admission stay (minus one who shouldn’t be a nurse, in my opinion) they were all great and cared about my well-being. They asked crucial questions and evaluated every test possible to find out, and made sure that I was correctly diagnosed. I had to stay in the hospital for a few days, but every staff member made me feel as comfortable as possible, and my room was satisfactorily cleaned each day.

My entire experience was possibly the best hospital trip I’ve ever had to make. Every single person who I came across was so kind and caring, and even though they were busy, I was still provided service quickly. Very impressed!
