Roc & Olive

Kristal was our wonderful and gracious server whom we now love! The whole experience was rewarding and at the appropriate rice point. Well made drinks and a varity of wine and beer available. On a cold day, the gas fireplace creates a perfect setting for dinner. My ny strip was perfect with the additional grilled asparagus to compliment the main dish. My partner had the snapper. We mentioned that it was our anniversary and we were surprised when kristal brought over a complimentary serving of champagne for us. Roc Olive is a must for anyone and everyone!

Roc n Olive is the best!!! Been going to this restaurant for years and staff is great, food is always amazing and the vibe is perfect. The whole atmosphere is just perfect and perfect for a private party !!

I recently had my bridal shower at Roc & Olive on Saturday, January 13th. Saying that everything was amazing are not strong enough words. I need to first mention two people. Amanda and Crystal are Rockstar's! We are regulars and know Amanda. I was thrilled when I found out that she would be working and organizing things the day of my shower. She was professional, efficient and thought of everything. I recently lost mom and knew this would be somewhat of a trying day but thanks to Amanda and Crystal the day was so beautiful. The bartender, a dark haired, male, I don't recall his name was also fabulous. The food was outstanding. Due to Covid, many people cancelled at the last minute. Roc & Olive was very gracious and understanding. They even sent out extra food that would have gone to those missing guests. In addition, we had a personal cake issue. Once again, Roc & Olive rose to the occasion and a few days before accommodated us with the most delicious/beautiful cake. Crystal always made sure I had a drink in my hand. The décor was perfect. Again, Roc accommodated my requests to leave the Christmas lights up. Also, that was the day it flooded in Long Beach. My bridal party was late getting there to set up. As a result, Roc understood this and allowed us to stay a bit longer than the contract had said. I can't thank the staff and business enough. People mentioned need recognition and a raise! It's businesses like Roc & Olive that make Long Beach a wonderful place and a tight knit community. A thousand times thank you!

Really enjoyed this place. Ample room, great atmosphere, and service was top notch.
They had a decent beer list and a very nice wine and cocktail list. For food, we went with the fig and bacon flatbread for a starter. This was made nice and quick. The taste was amazing. The sweet fig spread against the salty bacon mixed in with the creaminess of the cheese, perfect. For our main, we split the traditional pallea. The dish takes a little bit to cook, but that was known. The presentation was gorgeous. The amount of seafood and meats was extremely generous. The muscles on the edge were a tad dry, but the flavor was very good.
I will certainly be back here again.

I just hosted a small “sprinkle” brunch for my daughter who is expecting her second baby. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience we had there. The food was amazing, we had perfect seating for our group of 10 ladies and were so pleased that we were not rushed in any way. Most important, I cannot say enough about our waitress Amanda. She truly went above and beyond to make our experience extra wonderful. Thank you to Amanda and the entire staff.

We stumbled upon roc and olive at around 12pm on Saturday , passing on Billy’s beach children’s play place and cafe. The store was empty when we arrived but were greeted immediately and had a lovely spot outside. People quickly filed in as the brunch rush started and made for a lively crowd. My wife and I were feeling saucy and ordered a delicious bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, Sileni NZ highly recommend for its price Point and crisp enjoyability. For an app we had the kung pao calamari. It could’ve easily been run of the mill sweet and spicy Frozen calamari but they put black sesame seeds as a garnish and that little Touch classed it up a ton. Even with the sauce it was crispy and quality pieces. We had two salads for our entrées , my wife - the chopped salad w shrimp and for me - the wedge salad w shrimp for myself. Again, simple dishes but done so right. They QUARTED the wedge salad, are you kidding me they’re living in the future. Check out my pics below. Bacon legit textbook perfect and the shrimp was fresh,
Plentiful and grilled to perfection. No skimping here. For such a good salad my only recommendation would be to use a nicer Bleu chz dressing. Our server Amanda actually cared, like she truly cared and was well versed on the menu. We live in queens and frequent Manhattan restaurants and let me tell You those servers don’t give af and for the money you spend it’s so appreciated to receive authentic service. Basic American fare , reasonably priced , no frills but chill vibes.

Great spot in Long Beach for lunch and dinner. The owners really care about making everyone who comes in a great meal. I especially love the grilled cajun chicken sandwich!

I held my sister’s bridal shower at Roc and Olive and the experience was great. Everyone was so nice, helpful, and accommodating during the process. The semi private area was cute and elegant and the food was delicious. I would definitely hold another event at this restaurant

Friday night and a table immediately!!! That’s 5 stars right there!!! Amanda was a server and she was by far fabulous, great energy and very attentive. Our drinks flowed along with the delicious food. I’m never disappointed at roc & olive!! Cheers to a fantastic year!!!

We have been many times and each time have had a fabulous meal and great service. And last night we ordered a feast delivered for an at-home birthday, and it was nothing short of spectacular! Even after delivery. Every single bite was perfection. The bucatini and shrimp pesto was delicious and not too creamy. Just perfect. The burger was ridiculously delicious as were the truffle fries. And the brussel sprouts are just inspired.This was beyond our expectations, especially for a delivery. We can’t wait to get back to the restaurant. Well done!

Upon entering you can see the place has very nice waterfront vibes. There's a spacious bar area right as you walk in. The hostess was very friendly to guiding you in. The wait staff was quick to bring water and bread. The menu was just right in size so there's no heavy thinking on what to eat. Had the grilled octopus for appetizer and a rare steak for entree. The only takeaway was the server can be a bit messy but it's a very small point off. Overall I would definitely recommend it when visiting the area.

Words of advice, make a reservation in advance. We tried, they were booked up, and sat at the bar when we tried to get in anyways… but it was well worth it. Our bartender was fantastic and the food was amazing. Highly recommend.

Met some friends for apps and drinks. Always had eaten outdoors. Inside is well appointed. Food is solid and fairly priced.

Love this place, great cocktails, appetizers and generous entrees, the food is delicious and the staff is on point, friendly and professional.

Always have a good time here. The service is very quick and they always have a great atmosphere. Taco tuesday is a must go.

Some friends and I ate here for the first time for Sunday brunch. The restaurant’s decore is beautiful and the overall environment is very nice. All of the food and drinks we got were delicious. We had the chicken and waffles, fig and bacon flatbread, Spanish omelet, and spiced cauliflower side. Their $5 drinks are a great deal. Service was excellent to top off our positive experience. I highly recommend and we’ll definitely be adding this place to our list of routine restaurants!

We've been here a few times, everything is really good. Especially the stuffed pretzels, they're phenomenal. Some nice outdoor seating in the summer time, really great for a lunch date
