Go Green Dry Cleaning

I used Go Green Cleaning several years ago when they were located in Rockville Centre. After that location closed I tried a number of local cleaners and laundries. None could even come close to what you can expect from Go Green. I finally googled them and found a location close by in Long Beach. Neil and Alan are great. I bought them my Class A uniform (I’m a firefighter/ EMT) and a bunch of neglected shirts and slacks. The results are spectacular. I couldn’t be happier. And for all you First Responders, your Class A’s will never look so good and white duty and parade shirts will be returned to you spotlessly clean. Especially those dingy collars and cuffs.
When I got home from dropping off the clothes at Go Green, there was a message on my phone from Neil. It seems that he made an error when entering my job in their computer and the charge would be $34.00 less than the price he had given me. Really. How many businesses would do that. I would not have noticed the difference. Honest people that do a great job. I highly recommend Go Green Cleaning.

I’ve been using go green for quite some time at times I have left items for more than a year I had forgotten about them. The items always come back in perfect condition and they’ve held them for me without penalty. Today. I was later preparing for a rehearsal, dinner and wedding, they cleaned and pressed all of my items in less than four hours did not charge me an expedited fee and as always did an exceptional job. Thank you to your whole team.

Brought my favorite $168 dress here for dry cleaning and got it back with the dye drained from it. It's been dry cleaned numerous times at other cleaners with out a single issue. Kevin of go green tells me to bring it back to the manufacturer, Anthropology because they must have made a mistake when setting the dye. After much argument he gave me a $100 credit to be used towards dry cleaning, NO Tailoring. First, I'd never trust them with dry cleaning again. Second, the credit should have been given with out such a fight.

I dropped off my wedding gown which I was going to sell before my honeymoon on July 5th to get dry cleaned. I did not want it boxed, just cleaned, and they said they would get back to me with a price, because I was going on my honeymoon they had kept the dress there in order to asses it on price. A woman called me during my honeymoon, gave me a price and I said it was fine and to start the dry cleaning process, she then gave me a pick up date of July 19th which was perfect because we were going to be on our honeymoon until the 16th. When we got back I stopped on in Monday the 18th since they had a good 11 days to clean the dress maybe they got it done early, the girl at the counter called the store owner and asked if the dress was ready, they said Tuesday it should be ready so I said no problem. I get a call the next day, Tuesday, and they said that it wouldn't be ready for another week or so. So I said no problem. A week goes by and I call again and I call on a Friday, a man answers the phone and says it should be ready by tomorrow I'll let you know. I wait and the weekend goes by with no phone call. I called on Sunday and left a message about how my dress at this point has been with them for almost a month now. He calls Monday, today, and says it's ready. I go in to pick it up, I'm not being rude cause the girl at the counter did nothing wrong, but I let her know that I was disappointed with the service and how because I was trying to sell it I lost about 3 people with offers on it because it wasn't ready yet. She called her manager to see what they can do. They said that they held the dress because they couldn't get the stain out of it the first time so they had to clean it again and because of this, that's why it took so long so they can't give me a discounted price. I was extremely upset. I wouldn't have minded if they had given me this explanation in the first place, that way I would have known they were doing there best to get my dress the cleanest it could possibly be, but because of this i will never go back to this dry cleaner again, or recommend them to anyone. I paid $225
