One of the best doctors I've ever had. Dr. Custer genuinely listens to you & does his best to resolve the conditions you've come to him about. I never felt rushed like a lot of places, he took his time to explain & assist me-- best bedside manner & I wish most doctors could emulate him.

I had a great experience with the entire team. I feel that Dr. Custer was very professional and explained everything well and even made sure to ask if i had any questions. I had my laparoscopic gastric bypass July 21,2015.The fairfield medical staff were very attentive and kind.
I am continuing to make great progress and the healing process is more than i could ever expect.
Thank you so much for doing an amazing job with my surgery and helping me create a new life that i can truly enjoy. Life is just too short to waste a single moment. Looking forward to all these new changes!

Dr. Custer is definitely the go to surgeon!! He took excellent care of me. He thoroughly explains things and he made me feel better about the surgery I needed.

Honestly there are very few doctors I have found that I would ever recommend and Dr Custer is one of them. He has done like four surgeries on me and at this point I totally trust him and would not want any other doctor doing the surgeries he has done for me and is about to do for me if I have a choice. So I highly recommend him if you need a good surgeon.

I love this group of professionals. Dr. Custer doesn't sugarcoat it. I appreciate everything he does to help man kind. They helped me change my life.

i really would like some info on this Dr ! i have had bad experience with a Dr with terrible bedside manner, i was told he was a great Dr and most reviews are good i wish someone could private message me anout there experiences ! thanks in advance

He has no bedside manner. He didn't ask if I had questions. Very disconnected from patients

If I could have, I'd have given 0 stars. In 2011 he butchered my daughter. Gastric bypass. Her life was filled with one complication after another. It was a living hell for her. It culminated in her death. She was Grace (f32). Don't let his good looks and charm fool you. He's a butcher.

Dr. Custer wasn’t arrogant IMO. He was good. The staff however… I was told on the phone by my PCP that I needed surgery. Not even the GI place. They just called to schedule and I had an appointment to discuss the surgery with Dr. Custer before hand and I showed up and the front desk lady (always extremely rude) told me they canceled my appointment. I asked why and why they didn’t inform me. She said I didn’t need to see him. I told her “yes I do. He’s performing surgery on me in 2 days and I haven’t even talked to him about it or why I have to have it”. She rolled her eyes and huffed and complained to everyone that I wanted to be seen. So I was but they were very rude. Now moving forward from that, I had been in another program where I was having to come in monthly and arranging multiple appointments with various doctors and all of a sudden they stopped ALL communication with me. I’ve called MULTIPLE TIMES! Left voicemails with 3 different people who worked there. Never once got a call back! I can never speak with them and I can’t even get my medical records to transfer to my new doctor! Just an awful experience. Dr. Custer was good but his practice is ran very poorly and from desk is always so rude it makes you want to cry when you’re there. Don’t recommend..
