Recently, I had surgery for a medial complex meniscus tear, and I couldn't have asked for a better team. I'll admit that I was nervous going into it, but Dr. Priano and the team at the Surgery Center eased my mind, answered questions, and most importantly, did a great job taking care of me and my knee. Only 2 days since surgery and have minor pain and am able to get around with no issues. Physical therapy starts on Monday, so let's see how that goes!

After seeing the 3.6 rating, I read the reviews to see why. It's terrible when more times than not we are quick to enter negative comments more than give "atta boys." However, bad experiences happen. On the other hand, my experiences are completely positive. I started seeing Dr Priano in 2007 for 7 (soon to be 8 and 9) surgeries. I have a disease that causes damage and arthritis to the joints. The staff has been friendly and thorough. I've recommended many friends and family who have also had positive experiences. I can't imagine going anywhere else for the joint issues. His assistant, Lori, is efficient, quick, thorough, and has been with him just as long.
I'm sorry for those who have had negative experiences but I will continue to return and recommend Ohio Orthopedic

Have had a wonderful experience so far with Dr D'Onofrio. In January had a scope performed on my knee that didn't quite fix my problem and was forewarned this might be the case. By the end of March I was scheduled for a partial knee replacement that so far has done the trick. My leg hasn't felt this good in years even with the normal pains of healing after a fairly invasive surgery. The entire staff has been on top of anything I've needed to help me recover and has checked in quite frequently over the last two months to make sure I'm doing as well as possible.

Outstanding service and Doctor. Felt like he really listened to my problem and was not quick to jump to surgery. I tried PT and injections before finally undergoing surgery by Dr. H who fixed my problem. Pain free and doing everything 2 years out now. Thanks Dr. Hollingsworth!!

Dr vaziri is incredible. He has now done 3 surgeries on me within a year n I couldn't be happier wit the results. His bedside manner is awesome. I wouldn't go to any other orthopedic dr. His assistant angie and amy are great. I've had to have alot of paper work done and these girls have always done it in a very fast way. They answer all my questions as well. Professional services always.

Was disappointed with Dr. D’Onofrio during my visit. He spent a total of five minutes in the room without really addressing the issue I came in for, didn’t take any notes or refer to previous information provided by my primary care physician. In the end he prescribed the same treatment my primary care doctor did several weeks back (anti-inflammatories and a brace) without really asking any questions about what the problem was. The only question he asked was “where is the pain?” Having expressed to him that anti-inflammatories had not helped previously this is very disappointing. I had hoped a specialist might have better answers than simply throwing more medication on the issue, especially when that medication has already proven ineffective. The only other option offered was seeing a physical therapist, but without even trying to discover what the problem is I have trouble understanding how that would necessarily help.

Great doctors once you actually get to see them. Either the schedulers are absolutely atrocious at their jobs or the physicians that own the practice are extremely greedy because they are never on time for appointments. I waited for over an hour beyond my appointment time to actually see the doctor.

Stop over scheduling or hire more physicians because it's not worth going here again for me when your "appointment" is merely a suggestion of the earliest time in which you may get the privilege to see a doctor.

I have gone to Ohio Orthopaedic to have surgery on both my right and left shoulder. I have my right shoulder done by Dr Priano in 2009. I had my left should done in 2017. In June of 2019 I started having a lot of pain again in my left shoulder. I decided to call in to schedule an appointment to get it looked at. I had to leave a message though. I got a call back telling me I needed to call another number. I called the number and extension they gave me and they told me that I could not be seen because I had an outstanding bill at the Physical Therapy Center they owned. I explained to the lady that I was set up for monthly on that bill. She said it did not matter they could not see me until it was paid in full. I tried to explain to her how and why that bill came about.

My family was heading home from the store in November/December of 2016 when we were involved in a hit and run. Because of the accident I had to go to physical therapy. The good news was that I was going to be alright and they found the person who hit us and his dads insurance was paying. So I went through Therapy January - March of 2017 to get my neck better. I then had my surgery with Dr Priano in November of 2017 and it was followed by physical therapy at the place they recommended (and they own). After about two/three weeks of PT the lady at the office told me my PT was declined so I called Anthem Blue Cross to find out why. They told me that I had used my 20 visits. I explained to them that was due to a car accident and all parties where reimbursed for that. She said okay then you should be good I would look into getting that fixed for you. About 3 visits short of finishing PT (the whole time I was paying my co-pay) I was told it was declined again. Again I called Anthem and was told the same thing so this time I asked to speak to a supervisor. That person said the person I spoke with previously was wrong. They use a third party company for PT and reimbursed or not 20 is 20 and I was out. I let the PT place know this the whole time I was fighting with Anthem to try to get it overturned and paid. In the meantime even though Ohio Orthopedic knew what was going on they sent me to collections. Once I got the final blow that it was never going to get paid by the insurance company I set up monthly payments to be taken directly out of my account.

Prior to making the call to my see Dr Priano for my shoulder pain I was on payment 6/7 of an 18 month plan. No misses or lates because it directly taken out. It did NOT matter to the two ladies I spoke with at Ohio Orthopaedic I was not going to be seen by the Dr (Priano) who performed my surgery until the bill was paid in full. I wasn't a dead beat patient. I didn't avoid the bill. I paid every co-pay and every cent I was asked to for the first surgery and the second. I also paid every penny for my first physical therapy as I plan to finish doing with this last one.

This is the worst service I have ever been provided. Please avoid this company and go to OhioHealth Orthopaedics in Pickerington or Columbus.

This was the absolute worst experience for my son. He was told he needed surgery and when we went for a second opinion, they wouldn’t give us all the MRI images that were taken. He was fitted for a knee brace by an office manager, not a doctor or physical therapist and had to get another one. The bills were sent to the wrong person for 3 months, totally disregarding the address I put down as the guarantor. Then when I did get a bill, after calling twice to change the address, they sent a letter two days later threatening to send me to collections. Do not go here for any orthopedic needs.
