Ashland Library

This library was really nice. I was there for a couple panel discussions but the views out of the windows on the second floor are worth the detour. Also the children’s section is such a wonderful spot for kids. Shout out to the children’s librarians there!

I'm a seasoned traveler and been to hundreds of libraries and this is one of my favorite. The staff are knowledgeable polite and even friendly. Some of the on house community come here to rest but they don't cause any problems. Just a great spot for the community to get together and share information.

this library system is extensive, smooth-running, and just LOVELY to be inside (Ashland location specifically). The children’s library is a staple for our family (with a toddler) as the librarians are friendly, so helpful and generous. There are SOO many great books and always engaging toys available to play with. We honestly can’t imagine our life without the library 😌 Thank you, Ashland Library!

I adore the Ashland library. The librarians are very kind and helpful. I heard one say to another person today, "Welcome back to the library." The selection is excellent and the holds system is so convenient.

Best public library on west coast I've seen out of many. Lots of power outlets including lockable machine to charge while running errands. There is a free food cabinet and grassy areas in front you can take a break outdoors on. The staff is great and very accommodating. I love this library...

One of our favorite places in all of Ashland. Amazing friendly people who remember you and treat you like family. Everyone who works there is truly wonderful and they do great classes and lectures. Can’t say enough wonderful things about our library!!!

Great library with wifi service, lots of room and books

So many resources here. Can print & scan. Borrow things other than books like giant backyard rainbow sprinklers and fishing gear. Lots of different events, both online & in-person. I love our library!! 💕

The Ashland Public Library, and the Jackson County Library system, are great. The Ashland Library has great staff including real reference librarians! Throughout the library there are comfortable areas for lounging around reading books. Many computer terminals area available for patron use. I have attended library events and private events in various meeting rooms. These are available for public use for free. Terrific place.

Wonderful collections of books, music, games and puzzles! Very helpful employees to aid in answering questions.

I love the Ashland library. The staffing always so friendly and helpful. I also love the view of the mountains. Nothing better on a cold day than to stop by, get a good book and enjoy the view from an armchair.

Requested (on line) a book with a long wait list about 5 days ago and got notified just now it is waiting to be picked up. Every time I visit the Ashland Library or go on-line to request, I am happy. Happy with this great facility right where it has been since 1909, and happy it is in my town. Thanks to all the great folks who work to make it such a wonderful resource for us all.

I continue to be amazed at all the programs the library continues to provide. It's great to get book in person or on line. The reminders that your book is in if you have reserved or if it is about to expire is a big plus. The staff is delightful and friendly. Thanks

It’s a wonderful library with very helpful reference librarians and staff. I find whatever I need here, as well as taking the opportunity to discover new materials. I especially use the printed Music catalogue, both in Mus and in Reference. There’s a handy copier available.

Great small town library. Friendly staff. If they don't have a book you're looking for, you can often get it from another branch.

Great kids area and they have free classes for children as well. Librarians are super friendly. Support your local library!

I just visited it I love the library the employees are very nice and has always been positive and very open I go there at least 1-2 times a week and they have been really nice to me I never have had a bad experience within the past few years I have been going there

The staff in the Children’s Section is amazing! They have a great children’s program.

Great library, has always been a nice quiet place to rest, staff are friendly, lots of comfortable places to sit. Hours could be longer.

A nice big library with plenty of books and movies for everyone. This library is 2 stories.
