Karma Sushi Bar Grill

Really unique and interesting sushi menu with tons of options that sounded amazing. Also boasts an impressive sake and whisky collection and plenty of cocktails and beer options. Staff was cordial but not over the top friendly, they handled a busy crowd well though! The Instant Karma roll was easily the favorite thing we ate and the seaweed salad was the most interesting version I have ever had. Would definitely recommend this place for a date night or family outing!

Great place for sushi on our trip to Arizona. We had the Bonsai, Red Dragon, and a Rainbow roll. The Red Dragon was the best of the three. We plan to return when we are in the area. Highly recommend.

This restaurant needs a higher rating than 4.2!!! Their sushi was AMAZING and I’ve had my share of sushi and my husband and I looked at each other and said this is actually the best sushi place we’ve ever been to! Staff was kind and quick service

Karma is such a gem in DTFlagstaff! The servers are great, Mac was welcoming and personable. I love the two different areas and vibes from both. The happy hour is such a win…daily 😊

Wow! What an amazing meal! We are originally raised in CA before moving to Phoenix, and as such, we have very high standards for sushi. This place delivers! Such an amazing experience, and they had some of the best sushi we have had! The sashimi was next level! We love salmon, and that was great! We will definitely be back!

We always make a point to stop here during our weekend getaways to enjoy the amazing food, the exciting atmosphere and exceptional service! Magnus was a wonderful server, he was fast while also being very accommodating for substitutes on our meal! Thank you everyone at Karma Sushi you guys are the best! Looking forward to the next time!

I’m not local to the area, but a trusty family member whose judgement I trust guided lunch to this location. Karma is located in Flagstaff’s little cluster of joints but is by no means secluded. Seating for seven people is obviously a larger party than average, but the waiters were so kind and accommodating! Once we were seated, the first thing to catch everyone’s eyes was the combo: a ramen and a given dish for $20, every day from 11-3pm. Our orders were taken care of in a timely, amiable manner—the service was definitely super sweet, but that’s something I’ve noticed throughout Arizona restaurants anyways, especially among younger staff. Food came out and everything was as expected. The ramen had a good hearty broth with a good cacophony of toppings: naruto, chashu, mushrooms—the whole, typical, works. The noodles were a bit over cooked, but the restaurant was pretty flooded. The karaage was good—it was flat breaded and served with spicy mayo. The fish—sushi, sashimi, and nigiri were ordered—were not extremely fresh, but they were obviously well prepared. The fried rice was pretty decent too, about the quality I’d expect from a tiny, family owned, Chinatown located restaurant. Ginger and wasabi are served upon request and were both of good quality. All of the food was a bit salty, but we also come from a distinctly Asian household. Again, the staff was incredibly sweet! And the ambiance was really cool and chill :) Would come here again for sure!

What an amazing time we had at Karma sushi bar and grill! First of all, the sushi was top notch and was a high quality. The salmon was delicious and very fresh. The rice was perfect, not too sticky or too sweet. The ambience was amazing. All the little details they put to work to make the setting a wonderful place to eat. Service was super great! Always had full water and full attention of the staff. CHECK OUT this wonderful sushi bar soon!

If a sushi bar can survive on a street with four competing sushi bars it must be doing something right. Having fresh wasabi was an interesting offering. Has sushi as well as ramen and more traditional fare.

Amazing tasting fish/food! Definitely will be back. Yellowtail was on point. They were a little busy and some items got a little mixed up on our order…other than that 5/5!! This sake was incredible.

Ate here a little while back for the first and only (unfortunately) time so far. The food here is exceptional and this is, as far as I'm concerned, in the top five restaurants in Flagstaff, maybe top three. The sushi is incredibly fresh, they have an interesting roll list, and the staff are amazing. Honestly, it's one of the best dining experiences I've had in general as the vibe of the restaurant is so bright, cheerful, and welcoming. Very clean all around, and I will definitely go back.

2nd update

I called ahead and we got a seat on a reservation. If you're going to go here I would check how busy they are. We had the most delicious food and drink. Photos of our meal today are attached the before and after say everything.

Everything was made to perfection and the real wasabi is so delicious. The bar is really nice to sit at with very comfortable chairs.

1st update
Today I go there to eat there again. The place is half full and they say they're understaffed in the kitchen is backed up. They won't even let me sit and have a drink. How do you turn away a well-paying customer that's frequenting your establishment?

Good things come to those who wait.

We were a table of five so we had to wait a little while and it's not too many of their tables are set up for this but it was worth the wait.

Some of the family found things that were not sushi related to eat but everyone enjoyed it.

Sushi was fresh, Service was really good, highly recommend.

Also recommend making reservation in advance!

All the rolls we had were very fresh and tasted great. Our server was quite helpful and answered all our questions which was nice (we went right at 11 when they opened). Overall, the service was good, the food was delicious and the menu was quite robust. I'd love to go back and try some of the fried rice and other dishes. Thanks for a great meal with my LJ!

The food and atmosphere I'd give 10 stars. The service was better than most fine dinning. They have amazing sushi rolls and roman was incredible. They also have a beautiful stocked bar with all kinds of Asian specialists.

Their vegan gyoza and veg ramen was great substituted with udon noodles to make it vegan. Friendly staff.

Food is really amazing, actually its one of best ramens ever had. Must try wavy curry chicken ramen and karma classic fried rice.

Had a really great meal! The food was delicious. The rolls were unique and really tasty. Had some appetizers and deserts that were really good, and my wife had a Japanese whisky tasting flight that she really had fun with. Great vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu!

Really enjoyed this place. Initially wasn't pleased with the way they seat people. We arrived and there was only 1 group ahead us and the hostess told us they just needed to clear off some tables so 10min wait. She did take our name or number. Shortly after that they became busy and the hostess took other peoples names and numbers. She also sat 2 groups that came after us before us. Which was quite annoying. Once I addressed this She got us sat. Our waitress was amazing and the food was delicious. Will definitely return and hope for a better experience with being seated.

This is my first time in Flagstaff and we were looking for some sushi. We found this place and decided to stop in. The food was very good and prepared well. We had a few drinks and the drinks were made great and tasted good. They presentation really well too.
I like the atmosphere of this place and the mix of the bar was good. Lots of great liquors to choose from.
