Master Mechanic

Amazing place! 100% recommend to anyone looking for an amazing mechanic and honest place to take their car. Our car has been tricky with a vibration issue and they have helped us so much chasing the issue down. So nice and understanding and communicate so well. They are very thorough with their work and parts they use and adjust when there is a problem. They have gone above and beyond helping us with our car and we cannot thank them enough!!

Took my 2010 BMW X5 30I here on 04/03/24. Car has 118K on it and like any aging BMW it likes to go through your wallet. Justin was very helpful and patient. Went above and beyond to explain and help. Prices were not bad considering the car and what needs to be done. Gave me ride home while working on my car. Front desk area looked clean and professional. Overall, my impressions of the shop and staff are good. Will be returning a few days later to finalize some work on the car.

I took my car into Master Mechanic because my car all the sudden just started dying. I had no idea what was going on. They are literally just down the road from my house. I stopped in and they were already very busy, but they said they could look at later in the day or the next day. I didn't have an appointment, and to be honest I didn't know I could schedule an appointment until I looked at their website. Waiting for them to fit me in was totally fine. Tanner was helpful and professional while he listened to a non-automotive person try and explain what was going on. The next morning, Tanner called me and said that it was the alternator, and they could get it fixed by the afternoon. They explained everything and gave me my estimate and was able to get it repaired and ready just as he said. When I picked it up there were no unexpected fees or changes. Tanner also explained the warranty for the parts and thanked me for my business. I will definitely take my vehicle there again!

I use them for oil changes. They have a punch card that's a pretty good deal if you also need your tires rotated. I've done five oil changes there and haven't had a problem. It's better if you schedule ahead. I think sometimes there's some confusion with the scheduling sometimes, but no big deal. I would recommend anyone to go there to get an oil change if they are also needing someone to rotate their tires.

I must say that I don’t leave google review very often but Master Mechanic deserves to have a review worth five stars!!! The guys up front Justin and Kevin did a phenomenal job at communicating and explaining everything to me in terms that made sense. Justin gave me a ride to and from my house and was very pleasant to speak with! Kevin I felt bent over backwards to get my car returned to me running better then it was when I took it in. They definitely do great work and they are reasonably priced. Thank Master Mechanic!

I really appreciate Master Mechanic I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I took it into a quick lube center and as I was pulling out of the parking lot and the engine started to run really bad. I took it back to them and they said that the oil was full and they didn't know what was causing the Jeep to run so bad. I drove it to the closest mechanic which ended up being a blessing. They where about to close and Kevin asked one of the technicians stay late to help me out they ended up finding that a rocker arm broke and it would need a head job. Not the best news but my jeep had 188k miles, They let me get my stuff out of my jeep that I needed then Kevin gave me a ride home. The next day Kevin gave me a few options on how we could proceed. At the time I looked at getting a different vehicle but the prices on used vehicles where quite high and at least if I fixed my Jeep I knew what I was getting. and there price was very reasonable, I called around and there price, service and warranty was the best. They told me they would need my jeep for a week. I am grateful for finding Master Mechanic. I waited about 6 months before writing this review to make sure no issues came back and they haven't.
I have also started taking my Jeep there for oil changes, you do have to make an appointment bey it saves you money compared to quick lube centers. I would recommend Master Mechanic if you are looking for a smart friendly and honest mechanic.

After diagnosing the problem with our car, they called to let us know what needed to be fixed and gave us an estimate. I was thinking that it would take a few day to get parts and get it fixed but Aaron did an excellent job and had it done the next afternoon. We will definitely be using them for any future needs.

These guys are awesome. Patient, SO KIND, and really help those who just want to understand what's wrong with their car.

Shoutout to Tanner who's an MVP for keeping me off the crazy train after our van had to be in twice within 2 weeks.

Master Mechanic is amazing!!! I have used Master Mechanic for many years. They have worked on various vehicles that I have owned. Most recently a 2001 Chevy Corvette. My vette has some modifications that required some modifications to the wiring to get wires away from some headers. Also I had an oil leak and a faulty ignition switch. Tanner, Kevin, and the crew were absolutely amazing in keeping in contact and providing updates and quotes. I have no apprehension about recommending them for any and all automotive repair needs. Go with confidence that your vehicle is in good hands!!!!

I would like to add a follow up. The seal that was replaced failed and the oil leak returned. Tanner and the crew at Master Mechanic took a look, told me the issue was covered under warranty and quickly and effectively changed the seal and had me back on the road. I am very happy with the service and communication from this team. Go with confidence, they will treat you right!!!

Highly highly recommend these guys! I had quite a bit of work done on my truck recently and had 0 issues with these guys. They were very open and honest about cost, work that needed to be done, and were great at calling me with updates! I am a customer for life!

Fabulous work. Found oil leak with oil exchange unit and steam cleaned engine. Replaced worn-out wheel bearing and replaced faulty light combo switch with manufacturer's unit for 22 year old full size Saturn and battery no longer drains after 4 hours. Performed full tune-up with manufacture's recommended hardware and used their own injector cleaner. Now getting 360 miles/tank of gas instead of 110 miles/tank after moving out from Denver. Kept to estimated cost every time. Very polite and clean, especially keeping interior clean. Expect to take my car back to get it fully running to near original condition so family member with disabilities can transfer in and out of wheelchair. Cheaper than buying a new car.

These guys are great. Took my truck in today for an oil change and tire rotation. The employee helping me out at the front desk was great and got me in and out quickly. Top notch service. I will be back again!

The guys at Master Mechanic are great! My Mom recently made the trek to Cache Valley from AZ and lost the heater somewhere along the way. I called up Kevin and he was able to have me leave it with them and they got her fixed up before she had to leave town. The next day I dropped off my Avalanche with some emissions related issues and told them my budget. They were able to get the required service and some more things done and still keep me right around the price I needed. I know that they don’t have total control over the price as far as what they find and what is needed, but they kept all of our needs in mind as they fixed my vehicle and got us back on the road before the week ended. They are not going to be the cheapest around town but I doubt you will find a better bunch for the price they ask. Recommend to anyone who is looking for honest mechanic work and a pretty unbeatable warranty!

Been here a few times, they do good work, are up front about things and don't try to upsell you. Their prices have been very reasonable, and a few times I asked them to check things, one time the part they checked on didn't need to be repaired so there was no charge. The other time it did need repair, but they let me know it wasn't something they could do(required a certain type of welder), and still didn't charge me hourly for whatever assessment they did. So I can't say they can 100% fix everything, but they'll be straight with you and aren't going to charge you for trying to figure out a solution if they can't do it.

Master mechanic is by far the best in town. They keep you informed during the process, and they are really up front and consistent about time tables. Kevin is very kind and does his best to help you understand what was wrong and what they did to fix it. My whole family uses master Mechanic and we would never consider going anywhere else.

My vehicle was making a bad grinding noise whenever the engine was running. The guys at Master Mechanic Kevin and Tanner took the notes down and the technician found that my Idler pully had a bad bearing they where able to have it all fixed the same day at a very fair price. I love there night drop you fill out a envelope and slide it into the building then you get a call in the morning. We always leave feeling good they treat me with respect and are really friendly. Thank you Master Mechanic for the great service.

New timing belt, motor mount, and a transmission fluid replacement for a very reasonable price. As an out-of-towner these guys scheduled me on very short notice and were great about getting it done in a single day so I wouldn't be stuck without a car.

These guys are awesome. Honest, fair and don't talk down to you. I've brought multiple cars to them over the years and I will always come to them first. They send you photos of their inspections so you can see for yourself what they’re working on or recommending and answer all questions. Highly recommended!

Best shop in the valley in my opinion.

I took our Subaru, with a failing engine here. Chase, who I chatted with quite frequently, was extremely honest in what he recommended for me, even if it didn't include his shop getting paid to replace my engine.

Honesty is huge in this business. I would even pay double the cost of what they charge, just because of how straight forward they are with you. We didn't end up fixing our engine, because the cost outweighed the life of the car, but without Chase and the entire Master Mechanic staff, I wouldn't have known that.

Also, just a tidbit, the cost they gave me to replace the engine, was the best bid by far, they were the fourth shop I had came to. So keep in mind that they do have competitive pricing as well.

Would highly recommend! Thank you Chase & the Master Mechanic team, next time I have issues with my car, you'll see me.
