Rainbow Valley Lodge

My husband and I stayed at trapper cabin. It was an amazing place! Everything you need is there,and the view is beautiful! Ed at the lodge was extremely helpful with all questions we had.( which was many😃). We also did a guided fishing trip through him. Our guide Shay was great! We had the best time! Thank you Rainbow valley lodge for making our vacation lovely.

Very friendly owner. Clean and spacious room with equally clean laundry. Property is very well maintained and right on the highway. Internet speed was good.
Don’t forget to enjoy an assorted breakfast and the pool on property. There’s also a laundry room. Highly recommend this lodge for friends and family.

Beautiful! The flowers surrounding the rooms and grounds are show stoppers! Beautiful green grass and immaculate grounds. The rooms are rustic and very clean. They are also spacious. The porch was wonderful. Great stay. The owners are a bit no-nonsense but we can appreciate this.

Ed & Jeanne make their guests feel like family members as they are remarkably hospitable and accommodating. The grounds are impeccable with flowers everywhere and one feels at home the moment they arrive. We were in Ennis for a labor day weekend wedding and couldn't be happier with our choice to stay at this wonderful family run hotel. The rooms were perfect, pool relaxing, and breakfast ready every morning. Ed and Jeanne's hard work is evident everywhere making this place highly recommended.

We enjoyed Ed and Rainbow Valley again. We love staying with them and enjoying not only the clean well taken care of property, but also the conversation with friends. It always feels like you're staying with family when we stay here. This is not just any other motel. These folks take pride in there accommodations and the Montana lifestyle...and they'll never steer you wrong on the fishing. If you're looking for a clean comfortable place to stay near Ennis this is it!

Immaculately clean rooms, exceptionally friendly folks, and 2 minute drive from downtown Ennis. The check in process was actually fun as he was just so nice. Wonderful laid back attitude.

Place has fantastic pride of ownership. Prices were very reasonable.

Going back for my 3rd visit this year. I go for the fishing trips which they have a guide service that works with them. The Prices are pretty good. The hotel is older but well maintained and pretty. Comfortable rooms. No air condition but I have not needed it when I go in June. The owners are great and friendly. They remember who I am even though I have only been there twice. Highly recommend.

One of the most wonderful experiences we have ever had!! Great hospitality, Beautiful clean rooms, reasonably priced, and great location! The scenery is breath taking! We will be back!! Thank you Jeannie and Ed we fell in love with the area and the lodge!

Great cabin, stocked with everything one needs, close to town. Owners are very friendly.

Ed is an awesome host! My wife and I spent our anniversary at the Rainbow Valley. Ed suggested Tavern 287 for dinner, it was very good. We went on a half day drift boat fishing trip. What an great experience that was! And it all started with Ed and the Rainbow Valley Lodge!

Oh my gosh! Great place! Great timing on our road trip to find a place to rest our road weary heads! The place is rustic and immaculate!! Way more cost effective than the Super 8 in Bozeman!! The owners obviously love their place!! I highly recommend!!!

We love this little lodge/motel. It's very quaint, clean. Comfortable and a great location. The pool is heated and refreshing after a long days drive. You can sit outside and bbq and visit. The people who run it are so friendly and accomdating. Highly recommend staying here. It's wonderful!

Clean and welcoming rooms! Can't speak highly enough about Sue B. and the cleaning staff either! Every day, we walked in to our room, fully stocked, and very neatly straightened! Would leave 6 ⭐'s... but only room for 5. Very reasonably priced, and close to Ennis. Thanks RVL!!!

We cannot even begin to describe the wonderful family vacation we had staying at The Rainbow West of the Rainbow Valley Lodge. The home was located away from the main lodge, but it was beautifully done - it had recently been rebuilt. The kitchen was amazing with 2 sinks, granite counter - the works! The bedroom and bathrooms were beautiful, hardwood floor throughout, and the back deck looked out onto a beautiful scene of mountains and wild life. If we could have stayed forever, we would have. We already can't wait to go back! The staff at the lodge was so nice and friendly, too!

Outstanding place to stay! The rooms at the back have a few that is breathtaking! Continental breakfast is outstanding I had a piece of homemade banana bread that let's just say it was pretty good! The rooms were clean bright very warm and the hospitality was outstanding! Oh and the towels are very high quality and very soft..

Stayed is April 2013 with 3 friends for a week of fishing. It was not the best weather but at the end of the day returning to the Rainbow Valley Lodge was the best part. The owners are very nice and helpful . It was like staying at an old friends home. They even made chili one night and fed us.
Rooms were great, beds were very comfortable. Location perfect. Good TV and nice simple breakfast in the morning. Fly shop is very complete and helpful. We used their guides and they worked very hard for us.

My husband and I stayed in the C-Bar-3 cabin which is actually in town and only a few blocks from the main street. Fantastic customer service from the moment we arrived and while it seems like a small thing, Ed remembered our names every time we came into the office. The cabin is really well-stocked and has a nice, shady porch for eating dinner or having a cold beer after you get off the river. I also really liked that it was within walking distance of everything in Ennis because parking is hard to find downtown. I would recommend bringing a box fan if you're staying in the summer. The cabin stays reasonably cool, but when temperatures hit the upper 80s, it can get stuffy. We brought our own and it was refreshing to have after a hot day of fishing. Also, plenty of room to park your drift boat if you bring your own. We hope to return next year!

Absolutely beautiful place! Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Very rustic feel, but modern conveniences. Great views. I wish i could stay longer. Wake up to a view of the mountains and birds happily singing. Very cozy and comfortable.
