This is a really fun park for kids. It has a nice play-structure, open lawns, a bathroom, a party eating area, as well as in the summer a water park element. It is right next to a creek and near downtown Jacksonville, OR. I highly recommend this, especially for younger kids. Its a great place for a picnic or just to relax and watch the kids have fun on the swings. Check-it-out.

Great little park in a clean, small, family and dog friendly town. The location is in a super-cute neighborhood that has a historic feel. The park area is fairly small, around half a city block, but it has nice play equipment (suitable for toddler through big kids) and a big patch of lawn to run about or picnic on. In the back there are some picnic tables. Nearby you can find a few eateries and a coffee shop (within walking distance). For your comfort, the park offers several nice benches and it also restrooms. A little creek bed (which had water the times I was there in winter/spring) with a parallel cemented path runs along the interior perimeter, and I often see folks walking dogs or taking a bit of exercise along that path. Unfortunately, this particular park does not have many accessibility features - although entering the park and path would be easy enough, even with wheelchair/walker/stroller, the play equipment consists of old-school stairs, climbing structures, a small elevated tunnel and traditional swings (no modified structures or equipment). Parking is adequate with 10(?) or so parking spaces, plus free parking available on the street next to the park.

My wife and I took the grandkids there one summer evening. It was great! We had a picnic, played on the playstructure, pushed them in the swings, and got cooled off in the water feature. I highly recommend this park.

Plenty of picnic tables and grass area. Playground can be warm midday but surrounding shade covers it some other times. And the splash pad is a hit during summer months.

Small perfect park.
Lots of families and dogs.
Jacksonville is a very cool little town. We parked at the park and walked the dog around several city blocks and back to our car. Quaint and well kept. If I were younger, I would find a way to live there.

Small and vibrant park, great little water spout area for kids. Convenient place to stop and regroup.

Best park in southern Oregon for toddler water play. The water area is small and partially fenced in. The water are is located far enough away from the road. Adults can comfortably (stay dry) on the grass while supervising children. Tables and benches are limited and can be hard to come by on a hot summer day. The park is close to the water area so you don’t have to move camp to supervise kids. Bathrooms and water fountains available. Large flat grass area and shade. Parking is only a problem I the summer but the new parking area has been very helpful. The park is always clean and we always feel safe.

We love this park! It feels SAFE which is very important to me. Have never seen any homeless hanging around. Water park is a blast and so much shade in the summers.

Went here during the summer, it was a really nice place to sit and drink some root beer. Nice shade, there was a birthday party being held too for some kids, so it seems like it would be a good place to do that. There was a playground too. Overall a very pleasant place to relax I would say.

This is a hidden little gem of a park in historical Jacksonville Oregon. Kids and adults(me) had a great time. It even has water fountains kids can play in, but shuts down after labor day.

Pretty, little park with grass, water play, playground. The water feature is perfect for young ones, gentle and low. The park is surrounded by trees, has a covered area with picnic tables and restrooms. Cozy and beautiful in the historic town of Jacksonville Oregon.

Love this little park. It is so lovely and well maintained. There is a great covered area for picnics and a small spray pad. It is also very close to all the shops Downtown so you can have a very pleasant day of window shopping and playing in the park.

I really want to keep this gem to myself, but hey, the more the merrier. Super clean and well maintained park. Perfect for younger kids. The splash park is definitely perfect for the toddler age.

Great park with a water park for children, wonderful large pavilion area, big field of grass to play sports in or even picnic, do yoga, relax, and very fun playground structure! Swings, one big swirl slide, one double slide, a rock wall for big kids and one for smaller kids, and even a bouncer!
