Came here with my boyfriend on his fly fishing trip and stayed at the Silvertip Lodge for two nights. It's you're very basic motel with the bare minimums. We stayed in room 6. Our room was clean and bathroom was clean. This ain't the Ritz so don't expect anything fancy. The highlight of this place was Yogi the dog who belongs to the owner Norm. Both were really friendly. Yogi was super sweet. We will stay here again next year.

This is actually a response to Clark Mercer's review. I'm sorry you had a bad experience however please try to see our dilemma. We have sometimes hundreds of people walk past our motel in a day, many with dogs that they allow to use our front lawn areas as a "potty" area. We work very hard to keep up our lawns to make this a more comfortable and beautiful place for our guest. Our 3 dogs (which by the way, were on our motel property the day you walked by) have been trained to go "potty" on our gravel driveway which we then clean up. The urine burns the lawn and the feces makes a terrible mess that most do NOT clean up. We don't allow our dogs to go potty on anyone's private property, nor do they run loose, they are trained to stay within the boundaries of our property. We, as well as anyone, understand our responsibility as dog owners and we respect other's property that is all we were asking of you. There are many places around town that are appropriate for this purpose and we are happy to show you those places if you should visit again with your 4 legged friend.

Owner is really awesome. Place is roomy, and warm. Price is more than fair and they were very accommodating. Will be coming again.

This is the old cabin style motel, it is basic, clean, and cozy. Great manager/owner operator, super knowledgeable on fishing and local happenings.
