El Western Cabins & Lodges

We booked this place last minute as our previous plans had changed suddenly, and it did not disappoint!
Site is clean clean clean! Location is perfect. All around beautiful cabins.
Okay but we really need to applaud the staff more than anything… 10/10 made this place a winner. We had left something very important and expensive and they went out of their way to go get it for us and ship it when they didn’t really need to. On top of that they were so friendly and welcoming we felt just at home! Such a charming atmosphere. Great stay, we will definitely come back!

We recently had a family reunion and stayed at the El Western and used their community facility. This is the 2nd time we have had our reunion at this location and the family voted to have our next one hear as well. Chris who is the General Manager was so nice to work with in helping sort out a few reservation changes. Highly recommended!

Beautiful area, and the cabins are a perfect place to stop. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the cabins are exceptionally nice and clean, with good towels! The area also has great food choices and scenery.

Perhaps I'm a bit biased, but it was my paternal grandparents, as well as my father and uncle, who built this fabulous hotel back in the late 1940's. I have very fond memories of growing up around the El Western and spending quality time with family here. You won't be disappointed staying here.

I found the El Western on Google Earth while browsing around for a place to stay in the area. I knew it would be somewhat campy and retro but it really looked like something special.
But my goodness, I could have never predicted how wonderful this place really is. It's retro. but with modern amenities. And everything is so clean that even though it's vintage, it's also new. The cabins feel like a home. We went into town and got eggs and bacon and settled in for 3 days. The grounds are pristine! A marvel, really. And the owners have a lovely home on site. It's so clear they live there and they love it and they treat their guests so kindly. If we lived closer, it would be a destination vacation for us a few times a year. Thank you El Western!

This is a beautiful property--and when I say beautiful I mean above and beyond what you would ever expect from a quaint little small town like Enis. Enis itself is a great little town and we discovered it is quite the fly-fishing mecca even though we were just passing through. We were fortunate to find the El Western by accident but we will definitely return. The manicured grounds are so peaceful and inviting with a stream running through the back of the property and a large, well kept grassy area right behind the cabins. Our 2 room cabin was filled with western charm, very clean and definitely comfortable for our family of 4. The owners were so kind and understanding when we unexpectedly needed a late check out. Just lovely people! Thank you, El Western, for your kindness and for giving us a peaceful refuge from the stresses of the road. We appreciated it and will return soon.

The cabins are very cozy, clean, with comfortable beds. I was very impressed with the decor in the room; the bed frames and other wood work looked like they are custom made, hand crafted. You can tell that time and attention has been given to the care and maintenance of this place. The grounds are beautiful with an amazing view outside, and the sound of creek nearby. We would definitely stay again and again!

I absolutely loved my stay, the cabins are made from real logs they are absolutely beautiful!! Friendly staff even the housekeepers always had a smile on their face I like that!! The rooms that have kitchens are fully equipped to cook or bake almost anything dishes silverware pots and pans all included! We will be back absolutely loved it! Everyone works very hard at keeping this place up!!💜💜

A clean, quiet, and functional place to stay. Our cabin was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and allowed us to cook dinner and breakfast in the morning with a view of the hills and grassland. Staff were very helpful nice and had hot beverages in the office.

Fabulous "old time" adventure. Cabins are neat, clean, and well appointed. The beds are comfortable. Some cabins have kitchens, but most do not. Beautiful grounds. This was our second trip here and we made a point to stay here again.

Incredible experience at el western. Came to MT from Seattle for the beautiful scenery in big sky country and El Western did not disappoint. Clean rustic cabins with moose, deer, and owls literally on our front lawn. The owners were terrific (really good people) pointing us in the direction of hot springs and fly fishing you name it. Montana has a lot to offer and would definitely come back El Western.

Beautiful and relaxing - unique log cabins and western decor, immaculately maintained and clean rooms. Friendly owners. Easy access to the Madison River, town of Ennis, and just down the road from Yellowstone Park. Stunning views. My favorite place to stay in Montana - we'll be back!

You can tell the true care that goes into every bit of this place. We loved the beds, the people and the overall experience. Highly recommend and at a great price point. You will feel the good energy of this spot!!

Modern perfectly clean cabins with fully equipped kitchen good internet beautiful views. Very close to restaurants with grocery just a couple miles away. Very helpful staff. Heating is by wall heaters in each room.

We stayed two nights at the El Western on our way from Bozeman to Yellowstone National Park. We had everything we needed in the incredibly clean Moose Lodge. The owners, Kris & John, were very accommodating and helped put together our itinerary for our three days on US 287. They had great suggestions for hikes, dining, and entertainment. I highly recommend the El Western for anyone traveling through Ennis, MT.

I stayed at the Moose Lodge. It was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed. Everyone I met was friendly, warm and helpful. I had an amazing experience and would recommend checking this place out to anyone in the area-also, they have a wide range of rooms depending on what you need!

Clean rooms amazing landscaping. Rooms are super quiet if your looking for a quiet getaway and a good night's rest this is the spot for you.
