Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center ER

I have been in town for work and had the unfortunate necessity to visit this ER since I had a fever, difficulty breathing, chest pains etc.

I was seen right away
Each member of staff took their time to make sure I was comfortable and that my needs were met.

RSV was the diagnosis
Really stinks being 2800 miles from home and your dr and needing to go to the ER.

After i was discharged I had to wait for a ride in the ER Waiting room.

The staff noticed and one came to sit and chat with me while I was waiting.

They also noticed I was uncomfortable due to an elbow that pops out of joint (been doing this for 30+ years) and went in the back to grab a pillow for me to use so i could rest the elbow

The staff here were AMAZING.

I noticed what appeared to be a homeless guy come in and they treated him like he was a King.

I have had the occasion to have to stay in the hospital this year (3 times) all in Ohio and West Virginia.

Even if I added up the "score" of each together it still does not come close to this experience.

Since I am moving here for work - I do hope should i need to come back to the ER - i end up here.

Amazing Staff !

I received excellent care from every single person that assisted me. They listened, were so kind and very responsive to my needs. I absolutely received the help I needed and am so thankful.

The quality of care, efficiency, thoroughness, and kindness of everyone from the moment you step foot in this facility is jaw-dropping. They are outstanding, empathetic, considerate, and most importantly listen. Previous ER visits in CA resulted in 9-11 hour waits in the waiting room before even getting back to see a nurse, let alone a doctor. I was in and out in under 3 hours and saw multiple nurses, a doctor, a surgeon, had X-rays and lab work and received IV antibiotics. All the while, I was never left alone for more than 15-20 minutes before being checked on again and informed of next steps. The facility is very clean. You feel safe and secure. Words that come to mind to describe this facility and its staff are top notch and world class. Thank you to all!!!

My visit to the ER at EIRMC was positive in all respects. The wait was only minutes before I was checked in and given a wheel chair. The doctor, nurse and others were very efficient, professional and caring. Xrays were taken without having to move me to another room. The results were explained clearly and I was advised to see an orthopedic surgeon. I was called several times after my visit. It was the best ER experience I've ever had.

In the past year I’ve had to make 2 ER visits with my little girls ( 1 infant, 1 toddler). Both visits were great. They quickly got my girls to treatment rather than make my girls suffer during operation work.

Tonight they took my little girl straight to the ER room and within minutes the room had 5 people there working immediately. It obviously had been rehearsed and perfected.

During our 4+ hour stay our nurse, Ms. Afton was perfect. Listen up management! I was pretty scared. Afton was perfect. She checked in often, and with serious compassion for my girl. She noticed I was uncomfortable and fixed it. She treated me well but treated my girl amazingly. She laughed with Ada and she even brought Ada a little bear.

The doctor, ( I’m sorry but didn’t catch the name), was incredibly kind and direct👍.

Afton was peacefully active in our stay.

I have been to this ER more times than should be necessary. This was the first trip for me. As with previous visits, there was no wait to get seen. I think it was less than 90 minutes to get in, get evaluated, and get sent on my way with referrals and prescriptions. Friendly and professional staff, with a great facility.

I was taken back to a room promptly upon arriving at the Emergency Room. The doctor and nurses were kind and caring. They were skilled and professional. The problem was taken care of and I was given instructions for follow-up care. I felt that they cared about me and my health.

I’m a 35 year old female with ulcerative colitis. Yesterday morning going to the bathroom and discovering lots of blood in the toilet which is a common symptom of UC but I’ve been on Humira for a few months now and blood in my stool shouldn’t be happening nor hasn’t in many months so since my condition makes me more susceptible to colon cancer and other things that many adults my age are dying from because of not getting checked I went to the emergency room. My visit was so pleasant and felt like they really cared. I’m from California where they just rush you in and out. When I was here they made sure to do multiple tests to make sure it was just a bad flare up. I felt so seen and cared for. After fighting multiple doctors in California to be taken seriously about my UC it took me moving to Idaho to finally get the care I need. I wish I remembered the doctors and nurses name but I was there yesterday March 28 at about 7 am till 10 am. I will not forget this experience. My condition has been such a rollercoaster and being treated with dignity is all I want. Thank you for making feel like I matter and that my condition isn’t fake.

Last year as a brand new mom, I brought my son in cause I was worried about him, even though he seemed fine. A nurse came out and took a look at him and gave me peace of mind without charging me or anything. He was fantastic and im so grateful! I was just thinking about this incident and felt the need to express my gratitude.

The maternity ward at EIRMC is amazing! The nurses are super nice and caring. I've only had amazing experiences at EIRMC.

The staff was nice fast not judgmental took what I said under consideration and was very helpful to make sure I was out in time matter. help me with making apt with other docs for more tests

I only went in for restless leg but service was prompt and speedy and I was treated like I was the most important person. Maria is one of the greatest nurses ever

Brought my son in and got helped fast, the nurses were very kind and helpful. They also gave me a call the next night to see if I had any questions or concerns. Over all great experience.

Cali, George, Dr. Smedley and other staff were fast and efficient at caring for my husband at our visit.

My visit to the Ermac ER was very good I hit my head I'm on blood thinners they took me right back got me triage and in the room

The nurses are really nice got me in quick in no time sure love this hospital more than any other I’ve been

Quick service, thoughtful and knowledgeable doctors and staff. This is a great place to go if you have an urgent medical problem.

Got right in with no wait time on a Saturday night. we spent more time waiting at Walgreens for the prescription.

They jumped into action there was practically no wait time and they were fabulous!
