Dr. Gallen is the best endocrinologist I’ve had in the 39 years that I’ve needed care.
He’s always professional, thorough and kind, a rare thing these days.

Dr. Gallen and his office are amazing, my PCP sent a referral to them and with in a week they had contacted me to schedule an appointment. I used to work in a specialty office and it was a miracle if we processed your referral within 2-3 weeks. The office staff was super kind and knowledgeable. They are scheduling out a little bit, but again coming from a specialty office its understandable. I did contact a couple of the other local endocrinology offices and IF they are accepting new patients they are booking out 3-4 months further than Dr. Gallen's office.

Worth the wait -
Dr. Gallen is a tremendous physician with incredible bedside manners. He was very engaged in my personal health and took the time to get to know my individual needs and address any concerns I had. I returned for some samples later in the day and he happened to be walking through the office. He addressed me by my name and took me back on his own time and walked me through the medication and spent time answering my questions. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a physician where I felt like I was more than a dollar sign and just rushed through the visit. Dr. Gallen way exceeded my expectations and I’m thankful to have him as my endocrinologist.

Here is my initial review, based more on the frustration of a backed up healthcare system and not indicative of the quality of care that you will receive from this office: 15 minute hold to set appointment. Initial appointment availability 2 months out. Tried to push me off to a PA for an initial visit; not what I'm paying a specialist copay for. With that said I will not be seeing the doctor for two months and will update this review based on my experiences at that time. If I have to wait this long to see a specialist for a chronic condition, bring on universal health care, this current system is obviously not working.

Dr John and Dr Lucy are AMAZING physicians. Nurse MaryAnne is a wonderful woman who truly cares and has a heart of gold. There is a medical assistant there named Felicia who has a nasty attitude and treats you like a number as if she is only there for the paycheck. In my opinion, she brings the whole office down. Giving 5 stars because of the incredible doctors and mostly for MaryAnne. Felicia needs to go. BYE, FELICIA

Dr. Gallen, Steven Newhall and Lucy Ortega are all amazing providers! They really care about you as a person and want to help you in any way they can. They office staff is also kind and helpful.

Dr. Gallen answered all of my questions and was able to take his time with me during my visit. I appreciate how "down to Earth" he truly is and that he genuinely wants to care for his patients.

Dr. Steven Newhall and his team are the best that I have ever had. They go above and beyond to help you and are sincere about it the whole time. They also helped me with my medicine which I can say saved my life.

Dr. Gallen is a life-saver. He is very thorough and kind with his clients.

I've been going to Dr. Gallen for several years now. I highly recommend him.

We loved Dr. Gallen, but once he switched to Asante it has been impossible to get an appointment. My husband has been trying to get in since August; this is now October. His PCP sent referrals over FIVE TIMES, and my husband had to hand carry records over just to help things along. No luck! All we get is excuses, not an appointment. Meanwhile my husband got sicker and sicker and couldn't work. No one there gave a damn. No help from front office (multiple calls), referral coordinator. I even left a message for the practice manager and received no call back. We have great insurance. We finally found a doctor last week with a compassionate, professional staff, THANK GOD. But seriously???? I have never had to witness such redtape foolishness in my life! It's sad. Dr. Galen is great. His office staff either is incompetent or is so bogged down by process they can't serve their patients.

Worst experience with an endo. Newhall came riddled with inaccurate assumptions and was overly arrogant. Moved back to an area with real doctors that don't let patients run out of medicine because... ego check?

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with an Endocrinologist. He misdiagnosed me and caused several years of endocrine hell
