Room was very clean and excellent breakfast and front desk was great service also
Beds were awesome and I slept like a baby, breakfast was delicious and I most definitely would stay at this place again.
And it's not very expensive and close to Cracker barrel as well. Overall I give it 5 stars.

Richard at the front desk was incredibly personable and helpful! We had to leave our other hotel unexpectedly and he was very kind to us when getting us a last minute room! The inside and the rooms are very clean and nice, 5/5!!

We have never stayed @ the guesthouse hotel before but I was in a crunch to find a place at the last minute for my husband and I and our kids during a very busy Spring Break/Keenland weekend and after calling several hotels in the past and up to this point, I can honestly say that I have never experienced such excellent customer service as I did when speaking with Richard!
He was super friendly, professional and informative while still talking as a relatable and real person. After booking a room literally the evening before I already feel confident in my choice with this hotel because of him and appreciate that there are still those who will go above and beyond for customer service. He certainly deserves some type of merit or raise!

Beds and pilllows good. No elevator.
Pretty clean. Hot Sausage gravy and powdered eggs. Fresh fruit and yogurt.

Clean and quiet, slept so well. Housekeeping could tighten up on small details but its cleaner than most and bed was comfortable.

Very updated interior very nice staff to help my son considerably and I cannot thank them enough very close to Gas Stations restaurant you but I always recommend any motel that I stay at or anyone stays at if you have anything of value take it with you when you leave even if you're coming back because one never knows but other than that great place

This is a gem of a hotel. Very clean. Wonderful owner and staff. Excellent hot breakfast w eggs and sausage.
The location was perfect for my work trip. Nicely decorated w a KY horse theme. I usually stay in large chain hotels but am glad I tried this one.

My friend stayed here while in town. I went to visit them at The Guesthouse and I was impressed with this lovely hotel. The location is awesome. The rooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable, big, and CLEAN. The swimming pool is great! The employees are very very nice and helpful. Thanks again!!

My room was clean and spacious. The location of the place was very convenient to the stores and restaurants. The staff at this property was very attentive and kind. If you are visiting the town, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Helpful staff, location is good, rooms were clean and comfortable. It was quiet for the most part. Furniture is getting tired and worn. But room price is equal to expectations. I will stay again for the value of being close to the Hamburg shopping/dining area and decent accommodations. A really good 3 star hotel.

While traveling in Kentucky, my friends and I found ourself in a bind due to our previous hotel being unable to extend our stay. So I had to find something available, and thankfully Guest House offered us the solution we needed. While we only stayed for a day, we were treated nicely by the staff and had two fantastic rooms. I read many of the reviews prior to selecting this hotel, and most of them were good while a few were slightly alarming. Some of the things I saw involved a rude desk employee, musty rooms, mold, and dirty floors-but my friends and I experienced none of this. Our rooms were fantastic, especially considering how last minute of a reservation we made. The tv had access to numerous channels, which made down time even more enjoyable. Checking out was the easiest I’ve ever experienced too. Love the horse-inspired designs of the rooms as well! All in all, a great hotel that won’t break the bank and helps any weary travelers in need of a place to park. Thanks for a great stay!

Great hotel. Most things in here look like a new remodel and they did a great job. The staff was very friendly and pool was heated. The rooms are extremely spacious and the bathrooms could use a remodel, but they were VERY clean! Fantastic experience!

This was a great stay for a very good price. You can tell there was probably some rooms that used to allow for smoking, because the smell can be difficult to get rid of, but it’s really not terribly noticeable. The pool is small but plenty big enough for kids to enjoy safely. I give 5 stars because you can tell the owners are doing a lot of work to upgrade and improve the place and when talking with one of the management members I could tell they are constantly looking for ways to make it better. Breakfast was one of these areas and though not extensive it was plenty to fill us up before checking out!

I have stayed in a lot of places but this was by far one of the BEST experiences we have had. The wonderful, friendly and accomodating staff was so good to us and our dog. From front desk to housekeeping, we truly enjoyed everyone! The rooms were clean and spacious with really comfy beds. We enjoyed seeing everyone when we came to grab breakfast and go for a walk. We will definitely come back and stay again. Thank you all for a great experience!!!

This hotel was very clean and professional. The downside although there are NO elevators on this property I was able to get a downstairs room after I was told through the app chat on booking.com that there weren't any left. If you are booking through online make sure under Special Request you state if you are Disabled or you are a large family with many bags and would like a downstairs room! The front desk clerk Richard was awesome and so friendly! There is a cash deposit of $100.00 if you pay with debit/credit and or use third party to book the rooms. You do get your money right back the next morning/ or when leaving No Problem (keep the receipt)!

We really enjoyed our stay, the evening desk attendant was extremely friendly. I loved the high ceilings in the room. Breakfast was underwhelming, it was just cereal, muffins, bagels, toast, or yogurt. I would recommend and I would stay there again.

Do not let the 2 star fool you. It’s a great hotel. I have stayed at a lot of hotels across this country. And it’s hard to give a number one. But this hotel and my experience with Shelly, is above and beyond. The friendliness’s and the hospitality is above par. The room was clean and even smelled nice. No cleaner or chemical smells. Bed felt amazing. And even the other guest were seemed happy and smiling. 10/10 one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at.

Good hotel overall, we stayed 3 nights. Clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was great - make your own waffles. The housekeeping staff was top notch.
Two issues I had was there was seldom anyone at the front desk if I had a question or needed anything and there is no outside seating area to relax - the weather was gorgeous during our visit.
