TownePlace Suites by Marriott Lexington South/Hamburg Place

We have been traveling to St Louis and back. On the way to St Louis we stopped at this hotel to explore Lexington for a couple days. Our room was clean and comfortable. Camden was very welcoming at the desk. The breakfast options are better than many hotels and they even had a non-dairy milk option! That is very appreciated because I’m allergic to milk. The morning staff were very pleasant.
The hotel is close to dining and shopping options. It’s not far from the horse farms and maybe 20 minutes from Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland Racetrack, and downtown.
On our way home from St Louis, construction traffic slowed us down and we made the decision to stop at this hotel again. We walked into the hotel without a reservation. Camden even remembered that we had used points for our stay the previous weekend. Camden is a treasure and I hope Marriott recognizes that! Our room again was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. Both the young lady working the breakfast area and the lady working the desk were very pleasant.
We will definitely stay here in the future.

Staff at this hotel were outstanding. They were so helpful with everything. Night shift, I believe his name was Camden, was great! He helped us get a better rate than what Priceline was offering and he was so nice.
Their pool is the best! It was heated and a salt pool. Larger than some of the newer Marriott pools. They also have a firepit outside and a fireplace in the front lobby. It gave a really cozy feel. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was also great and they have a bunch of washers and dryers so if you need that option, they are available. We are traveling through to see family so I'm sure we will stay here again!

Upon arrival it was very inviting with the seating and fire out front. Cameron was so friendly at check in! Helped us with our tv with a smile too. Room very clean and spacious with fridge and microwave. I would definitely stay here again. Also very close to malls and restaurants.

What a great stay! It was 90 plus outside and as soon as we walked in- relief!!

The room temp was able to get to the low 60's quick too!

The rooms are nice, a little tight when you pull out the sofa bed (aka no room to walk between one side and the sofa bed) but it was an efficiency room.

The breakfast on the weekend was good. The frittatas are really nice.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The smells throughout are really nice.

The pool was cool, and that was welcomed on such a hot day.

The lady at breakfast on Sunday 9/2 was very friendly and hustled to keep items stocked as the hungry crowd devoured the offerings.

I would give customer service 10 stars!! Great location, feels like staying at a bed and breakfast! Very nice employees and accommodating to our family's needs! Will stay again!

Clean rooms, comfy beds, breakfast was decent -- had the basics, good location and close to everything around lexington, and the customer service was great!

The staff at this hotel treated us wonderfully when our home was without power due to a storm. The property is located close to everything in the Hamburg area of Lexington, the rooms are nice and clean, and the breakfast and pool areas exceeded expectations. Would highly recommend a stay at this property.

I honestly can't express how accommodating, hospitable and kind this hotel staff was. I'm a Lexington native so it's not often that I'm staying in a hotel in our city. But I was thrilled to see that people visiting my town had the chance for such hospitality here!

I suggest calling the reservation line if the front desk says there aren't rooms. They must not have access to all that the call center does based on my experience booking.

The rooms are nice and many come with a full(ish) kitchen. Large fridge, sink, microwave and a cooktop stove with two burners. They also have cookware and utensils. And a dishwasher. You can choose a suite that has an additional living room space too.

The bed was amazing and so comfortable. Everything was really clean and the ac unit has a remote control which is nice. The desk has a full table underneath. I didn't realize that until I pulled thinking it was just a desk keyboard tray.

The grounds have some pretty areas for lounging outside. The fireplace out front was not working and I was told it hadn't been for a long time. I hope they fix it soon because it would have really enhanced the atmosphere.

The indoor pool was in a heated room, but not sure the water was heated because it was chilly. Nice fitness room and full laundrymat too. A natural gas grill was outside with an area of picnic tables and we enjoyed using that.

The entire time the staff, even seeming short on workers as we see everywhere these days, did their absolute best to assure we got extra pillows, towels and anything else.

Breakfast was continental with a couple warm things but nothing super fancy. For the price of the stay it surpassed expectations regardless.

The one problem we experienced wasn't the hotel staffs fault. Our car was broken into in the back parking lot. My husband forgot his wallet there and someone smashed the window out. There were not cameras, but would it have even helped? Probably not. The man is on camera at McDonald's where he used a credit card and it doesn't help any.

What was phenomenal was the way the staff took this on as their own personal problem and helped us so much. They told us not to worry at all about checking out on time (we still made it out early enough but that was great peace of mind). They gave us credit back on our room which was totally helpful to offset the cash that was stolen. They even had maintenance come help us shop vac the glass out of my car.

Every single staff member was amazing. Stay here and you won't be disappointed!

Been here on company trips many times. No major complaints. One time I did get a little messy room.

Very nice, clean room that we stayed in last night. We had no issue with them allowing my registered emotional support dog.
The only complaint that I would have was the breakfast. We thought it was going to be a hot breakfast. I don't think we were the only ones, people entering the dining area we're looking around disappointed and leaving the cereal, yogurt, prepackaged muffins and prepackaged sausage biscuits behind. The definitely need to do something about that.
Other than that we would stay there again.

We had a little miss communication on when we were to check in but the manager was happy to take care of us and went above expectations to do so. The room was beautiful, clean and accommodating. Great location. I will definitely stay again!

Perfect for dog owners because there are plenty of sidewalks to walk down and the hotel is quiet. Hamburg is two blocks away. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance and easy access to I-75 and Man o' War.

Meticulously clean, staff professional and friendly. We arrived in Lexington and had some mechanical issues that caused us major concerns. The staff was so accommodating and patient as we had to keep extending our stay. Camden and Chasity at the front desk were so engaging and helpful. They did so much to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Danielle in the dining room kept the breakfast food fresh and the breakfast area spotless. She was friendly and reassuring that all would be okay. The housekeeping was amazing as they paid attention to the smallest details. The bed was comfortable, the room exceptionally clean and the kitchen very orderly. The halls and lobby were fresh, clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this Marriott property . Thank you Camden, Chasity and Danielle for making our stay so delightful, even under stressful circumstances.

The suite was very, very functional and permitted my wife and I to enjoy a full living experience with our Coton. Good front door staff.
