Residence Inn by Marriott Lexington South/Hamburg Place

Everything was great (except the cheap toilet paper)! Service excellent, tasty breakfast and cleaning of room every other day. I especially liked the kitchenette: staff washed my dishes in dishwasher if I didn't have a chance. I could live in the studio apartment forever. I stayed two weeks and will definitely go back. So many stores and restaurants around, and the proximity to Interstate and major thoroughfares SO useful. You do need a car though.

I was on a business trip for only one night of travel and saw that this hotel had high ratings to higher than nearby hotels. I also enjoy the more homely feel of the Residence Inn Marriott brand. This hotel was consistent with that feel. Other high ratings for the hotel were consistent with my experience. In particular, the rooms are very well designed, hotel is kept very clean and employees take pride. The customer service was exceptional by all employees I interacted with, including Ray, who expeditiously helped me. I noticed it was a little more to stay at this Marriott hotel vs. other Marriott and non-Marriott options, but it was certainly worth it. When employees take great personal pride in their jobs and do their utmost, as if welcoming you in their home, it shows and I could not think of higher praise. I am not sure when I will be back in the area for business/pleasure, but I would certainly stay here. It is may be a little light on some amenities, but I have stayed at a lot of Marriott properties and to me it was inconsequential stuff (like internet TV) or things I barely noticed or immaterial for a business trip. The rooms are terrific (and I pay attention to things like quality of craftsmanship/construction) - spacious and thoughtfully designed, the staff are exceptional, and the environment is relaxed and homely. That is exactly the stuff I want on a business trip in/out and under higher stress conditions.

Nicest room I've ever been in smelled great, great beds, great pillows. The kitchenette was fully loaded. Made my family feel like we was home.

The second shift front desk lady was very nice, we really enjoyed talking with her! The third shift guy was also very nice! we truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The rooms are like mini apartments, they have everything you need “a home away from home” When we come back to this area, we will be staying there! Very clean, probably the whitest sheets i have ever seen. Thanks for an awesome stay!!!

Absolutely the best hotel in Lexington. The staff were super friendly (especially Rong), the room was clean and neat. The food was excellent; it also had rice and miso soup for oriental visitors. Many hotels didn’t renovate or remodel during Covid downturns but this hotel is an exception. I visited there 5 years ago too but felt the rooms were maintained/upgraded since. You get excellent quality and service for what you pay. Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area.

We stayed in a two bedroom unit with a friend and it was excellent! The rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly as well. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We have a 2 bedroom suite. I've been here for a week and staying for at least a month. They keep it clean-ish, don't come to my room everyday. They should have smart TV's in the suites as most people use them for extended stays. Mostly use my phone or laptop to watch tv even though we have 3 TV's. They've loaded my dish washer once this week which was nice, didn't expect it. Wish they still have a hot tub but they filled it in with concrete. The pool has never been open the full hours it says it is supposed to be. The free hot breakfast could use some improvement. Low quality food. It's all packaged food and just heated up. I mostly cook my meals in my full kitchen. Hotels I usually stay have plenty on coffee options, they have bold or decaf here. Coffee is usually old or cold throughout the day, even a couple times during breakfast. Everyone is really nice and attentive.

Glad home owners insurance is paying and not me. Overall a good experience but not great. I've stayed in worse hotels, but also much better.

Awesome location! They have trails here I normally drive to from home but don't have to because it's a one minute bike ride to the trail. Plenty of restaurants options and shopping. Right behind Meijers which is great for grocery shopping considering I have a full kitchen in my room.

Great place! Full kitchen and large fridge, ready really well cleaned. Like pick up fallen food off the food and still eat it clean.

The staff here are always helpful and kind. Just a great place. I come back every year

Excellent stay overall. Clean and neat room with all amenities needed. Ample amount of parking available. Breakfast had many options and the dining area was very well maintained. Will highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here while our house is being fixed. Everyone was really nice and practiced mask wearing. The outdoor grill and pool were a refreshing addition. The elevator is a little sketchy. The area is super safe and lots of food shopping and clothing options available.

Much better than the Courtyard down the road. Staff is very friendly, the hotel is well cared for, and it seems to have gone through a recent renovation. I was given a warm greeting when I came in by both the receptionist and someone’s friendly dog. The room is fairly quiet and comfortable as well. I think I have found my place to stay to finish out this project.

The hotel is also near many amenities that you would need in a trip...restaurants, shops, etc. I’m happy I booked here for this trip.

I travel a lot and stay at a lot of hotels. Marriott is a first rate hotel chain, and the Marriot Lexington was no disappointment. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The employees were all professional, courteous, and efficient. If I had to say one negative thing about this particular hotel, I would be left speechless, because I can't think of a single thing. Next time I'm in Lexington, I'll be staying at this hotel again.

Great property with all the amenities you will need for both brief and extended stay visits. All of the Associates where very friendly and provided excellence in service in all departments. The General Manager truly cares about this property and her guests. All of the Front Desk Associates where very friendly and assisted quickly with all of my requests. Meal hours where on time with fresh food in what appears to be a newly remodeled dining area. Pool and fitness center are well maintained. This property is close to all of your shopping needs and dining out needs along with being accessible to the highway and downtown Lexington. I highly recommend this property!

The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was courteous and attentive. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, at which staff frequently checked to see if my family had everything it needed - even though it was a buffet style breakfast. The hotel was close to lots of sjopping and restaurants.

Customer service and housekeeping are top notch! I typically stay here every one to two years and the standards are consistent. Cleanliness is my first priority when selecting hotels. Beds are comfortable. Never disappointed!

I always love staying at this hotel they are pet friendly the rooms are clean and we always have plenty of room in our rooms. We had a 2 bedroom suite and a wonderful time

Staff is incredible...Daniel is one of the best clerks I've ever worked with. I've been in very high end hotels and he was just the best. I'm not sure how old the hotel is but it's in extremely good shape. Super clean and super modern in decoration. Only downside is there is no ice machine in hallway although there is one in your in room fridge but it takes forever to make a batch. Kudos to the staff though that brought me a bag up! Will most def stay again.

It felt like a nice apartment versus a hotel. The breakfast was definitely better than cold breakfasts places. I didn't have a blender but when I asked for one they happily provided. They even had a basketball for their court.

I love this place! Marriott always treats you well. But Alexa went way up and beyond for me. Not only the great breakfast and social hour at night, the room comfort was top notch. The shopping and restaurants are within walking distance.

Amazing location close to restaurants, Walgreens, Beverage Barn, Target, shopping strips. Very quiet hotel with a nice free breakfast. Very clean and updated/modern. Very comfortable bed. Kids slept well on the fold out sofa. We appreciate the fridge and microwave. There is even a stove and dishwasher! I recommend this hotel and if I return to Lexington area I will stay here again.
