The view of the cliffs around the shoreline was great. It was explained that the red in the rock is iron and the black is from magnesium. There is a lot of Limestone. There are a lot of Bighorn sheep in the canyon. Lots of wildlife to look out for.

The lake becomes a canyon on the North end. There was a Tour offered by a boat company called Hidden Treasures. The tour was about 2 hours. The boat ride was smooth. The seats were nice. There was good shade on the boat. The pilot of the vessel was very nice. They were good about turning the boat to see the Sheep on the side of the cliffs.

It took us into the canyon about 10 miles. They took us to the bottom of Devils Overlook canyon. It was not cheap, but it was a good experience. You can also drive to the top of the overlook if you turn right out of the marina and go North.

Tour guide was fun, full of stories, yet knew when to be quiet to let us "soak it all in"!
I highly recommend taking the boat tour of the canyon, it is breathtaking!

Had a great time going on a two hour tour up the Big Horn Canyon. The tour is very laid back and would be good for families or just about anyone who wants to sit back and see some beautiful scenery. The tour guide was informative and friendly, and our group enjoyed learning about the areas history. There are some stunning views along the tour and some wildlife too if you're lucky. Also some nice view points of the canyon from above are a short drive away.

Great tour boat agency. The captain of the boat was super knowledgeable and gave everyone a chance to see the points of interest through the canyon. Beat the Captain finding a big horn sheep and you'll get a soda.

We went on the 2 hour cruise in the canyon. It was magnificent ! Our guide was very good and gave us a lot of information. A " must see" !

What a beautiful boat ride. Was in awe of the beauty of this canyon. A must for anyone. We've lived in Montana for 20 years, and wished we new about this hidden treasure sooner. There's camping, boat ramp, delicious burgers in their little store. 😋 Worth every cent!!! A must for your bucket list.

Had a very relaxing ride on this 2 hour ride. Out tour guide Mark was entertaining and knowledgeable, giving some good history on the area as we passed through. We also spotted a ton of bighorn in the canyon and Mark slowed down and spun the boat around so all could see. We bought some drinks from the building by the dock and everything was very reasonably priced. Overall great experience and lovely scenery!

Michelle, our guide, was wonderful. Saw mountain sheep and spectacular canyon vistas. I recommend for a relaxing 2 hours.

I have done this trip twice and it was excellent both times. If someone sees wildlife they will even turn back around if someone missed it to make sure you see it. Lots of great history is told also.

Michelle did a great job providing a very relaxed boating excursion while educating us with the animal and geographic information infused with some great humor!

Mark was great! Come rent a boat from him or take his Canyon Tour!! We planned this part last minute and he was very accommodating 👍
