Zion Lutheran Church | Medford - ELCA

I was baptized, confirmed and attended this church my whole life. My Grandfather's father helped to establish Zion. My grandfather was the one that hung the brass cross on the East side of the church roof. I, in fact, even have the opportunity to to be employed at Zion as the groundskeeper/Maintenance specialist. It is so sad to see the "For Sale" sign on the property. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church will be greatly missed as a staple of the West Medford Community. It is just so sad that there are not enough people attending to keep the church alive. God speed to the church.

12 step groups every day except Wednesday and sunday. Kid friendly all are welcomed

I grew up in this church, I was confirmed in this church. Went to a Memorial for a long time family friend that passed away at Zion. It broke my heart, the vibrant, alive, inviting, church I grew up in has become or has died its self. It was cold, people were distant, the Pastor uninspiring (in fairness he was leaving the church for another job) it didn't feel like going to church, it felt like going to work at the Salt Mine.
