Everything was good until they started doing in-clinic intakes So now they have made me getting mental help a lot harder. I don’t have the gas nor the money to drive all the way to the clinic just for an intake that you could’ve done over the phone.

Spent hours doing the intake... to be told it was an 8 week wait for a therapist and 3 weeks for a med check. Then they call the next week and tell us he had been discharged because we never sought care. But we clearly had been there the week before. They were supposed to do check ins with both of us, did one and then never again. It's ridiculous how difficult they make it to get mental health help here.

Columbia care will do the bare minimum when it comes to mental health care. They will assign you a therapist that does not provide therapy but judges you. They will ignore your needs and make a list of things they think you need. They will tell you all the things they cannot help with. The doctors will decide what medications you need and ignore your symptoms and adverse reactions and they will continue to push meds without positive results and ignore previous med recommendations. They also will not request records from previous treatment doctors so that they can run blind. I have never in my life witnessed such mismanaged care. They will tell you that you are fine and capable of things even if you are not. They will sabotage your care and support around you; example: telling translink you can ride the bus even though you have debilitating anxiety. They will tell SSID that your capable but unmotivated. Beware they are not on your side and do not like to work and do their jobs! I have been riding their butts like sea biscuit advocating for care and demanding help. This horse should have been put down and defunded a long time ago!

This company is awful. Their intake for psychiatric care was great when I saw them a year ago. Their nurses were eager to help and asked each other questions about treatment. They followed up when they missed my calls and when I had a bad reaction to my antidepressants. My psychiatrist was amazing and I requested her for counseling services but she was not available. However, when I returned today I waited an hour. When I asked the receptionist what my wait time would be she discovered that there had been no one ahead of me. I had been the only person in the waiting room and she never bothered to follow up with me or apologize for her mistake.
This was after the receptionist at the Medford location forgot to tell me on the phone that they weren't taking walk-ins so I went all the way to Medford and then all the way back across town to C.P to experience this ridiculousness.

The woman evaluating me did very little to make me feel comfortable. She asked me if I wanted the door closed; that was the extent of her manners. Her tone of voice was sarcastic and she questioned all of the information that I gave her with skepticism even though she could tell that I was uncomfortable from the beginning and having trouble articulating myself. She continued this behavior after I explained that I had a physical condition that gave me extreme mental fog and leaves me exhausted the same way that an immune disorder would. I have been fighting the same mental disorder for 10 years and have had four different counselors diagnose me with the same condition. The evaluator had no visible credentials but attempted to diagnose me with something less severe after I told her very clearly what my condition was and when, and how it had happened. I felt overwhelmed and cried at one point, and she still pressed me for answers, a few of which I had already given her which told me that she wasn't listening closely. She made no effort to hide her reactions to my situation and was so short with me I seriously questioned walking out but didn't because I am in such desperate need of help.

These people wouldn't help me or my fiance in anyway shape or form. We asked about housing and tried to tell the girl on the phone our plight and she talked over me, wouldn't take the time to help us. I have sever anxiety and depression, was looking to get help with Columbia CARE. I'm 50 and my fiance is 63 and currently homeless. 😪😪😪😪😪 it's very sad and frustrating.

Highly unprofessional and not helpful, refusing a refill on a medication that isn't a controlled substance just because you missed an appointment in the past and are waiting for your next appointment. I don't understand how they can do that to someone who has been on a medication for 5 plus years. A week wait and they say to go to urgent care during a pandemic even if you live in a high risk household. Wouldn't ever recommend anyone to this place who actually needs help and people who care.

Took me two months of filling out paperwork and at least three different appointments just to be told that they don't have the staff to help me in any way at all that would be accessible to me. Despite multiple staff promising me that they'd be able to help me and promising me that they'd be different.
