Randy's Do it Best Hardware

We love Randy’s and feel so fortunate to have the shop close by. The staff is always friendly, always knowledgeable and able to help, and many times we find items at Randy’s that the bigger stores do not carry. Randy’s Hardware also has great hours. Another huge perk is that I can do Amazon returns using their UPS service!

I am always impressed with Randy’s Do It Best Hardware. As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted by a friendly face willing to help you find whatever you may need. It’s great to have a hardware store nearby, so I don’t have to travel 20+ miles to buy from a big box store. Randy’s sells nearly everything!

It's easily accessible and has a great variety of products. The prices are quite affordable

Randy and his team treat you like Royalty! If you want help, they do so gladly! If you just want to browse, they'll let you do that too!

They have a huge selection of hardware, very rare is the day I walk out of there without something that will work for the project I'm working on. Plus they have a rewards system that rewards you for shopping there!

We've always gotten great service at Randy's but I had an exception experience recently. I've had a Benchmade knife for several years, but I broke the tip off the blade quite some time ago. In seeing the "knife of the week" videos that Christian shares on social media, I learned that Randy's was a Benchmade dealer so I took the knife into the Timberville store to get feedback on what could be done. To my surprise, Christian took care of sending the knife back to the company for repair. Although I also receiving shipping notifications from the carrier, Christian also contacted me directly to let me know when it was back. The knife is as good as new! Thanks so much for being a great locally owned retailer that focuses on providing outstanding customer service!

This place is the best! First, the quality tool you get here is better than the quality you get at a big box store (even for the same model number)! Second, I got some amazing deals, prices were better than the big box store (I checked). Third, I've never gotten such helpful advice for a project. I'm putting in some French doors and Adam walked me through the process, answering questions and giving great suggestions for things I hadn't thought of. This is my go to hardware store, well worth a quick drive from Harrisonburg!

I went in here this evening looking for something my husband needed while replacing our kitchen faucet. He was trying to explain to me over the phone what he needed, but I know nothing about any of it. However, the gentleman helping me in the store was incredibly kind and patient, even while I called my husband twice for more information, while my husband texted pictures of what he was trying to connect, and even though I was keeping them there past their closing time. This store and staff definitely beat Lowe's and Home Depot, and I am thankful for their helpfulness!

It seems like I'm here all the time for one reason or another. The store is not a huge place, but they have a very good selection of general hardware, plumbing supplies, tools, lawn and garden products, paint and lots of other miscellaneous things. It's really nice to have them near by so I don't have to drive to Harrisonburg or Woodstock in case a plumbing or other household emergency pops up. There have been a few times I've gotten there just as they are closing and they have never hesitated to stay a few minutes after to get me taken care of.

Randy and his staff are very friendly and helpful every time I go in for something. If you're not sure where something is or what you might need they can quickly get you pointed in the right direction.

Store is always clean and well-stocked. Staff is consistently friendly and helpful, without feeling overbearing or selling stuff. A lot of big box hardware stores could take notes on how this one operates.

Randy's has an excellent variety of high quality products, and if Randy's doesn't have it, they'll find out who does, or try to order it for you! Wonderful staff on the floor who is more than willing to help you find what you're looking for. They will even go online and help you research a product to make sure that it's exactly what you need. I wish all retail stores had Randy's work ethics, they have the most superior staff anywhere!

After some psycho intentionally rammed our family car (child in the back seat) because he disliked our bumpersticker (!), these kind wonderful people let us in, even though they were closed for the night, and helped us find what we needed to get our car home. These people are not just doing the bare minimum to collect a pay check like at some places. They are absolutely wonderful people. We are now customers for life.

It's wonderful having a REAL Community business, with staff that greets you with a smile; offers their expertise, and assists in problem solving in a fair, honest manner.
Living in an 1853 Farmhouse, in need of repair, I've run into some unique situations, requiring innovative solutions. Randy's has come through whenever I've needed help.

Friendly & knowledgeable sales associate's, decent inventory, prices not too bad. It's nice to have a local well stocked hardware store in the Broadway area!

I have used Randy's since it opened and I am constantly reminded of why I go there. It is about service. I can get hardware at many places but I can not get the service and help I desire from other places. I appreciate having a knowledgeable staff that can help me when I have questions. This hardware store has few peers and none in this area. There are a few things they haven't had though the selection is impressive for the size of the store, but the key is there were staff available to help me know that immediately. I doubt the big blue store would have had those items either and I would have spent an hour trying to find out.

Wonderful store! It is so nice having an knowledgeable employee to greet you after you come in the door to ask if you need assistance finding something and to answer any questions 🙂
