Ashland Motel

It was great. The room was spacious and clean when we arrived. The manager was very accommodating. We arrived later than expected and he kept the office open for us. The area was very quiet and it felt safe. There’s ample parking. By far the best experience ever.

Five stars for a budget motel. Rooms are tastefully but simply renovated. Location excellent. Had good service when I needed early check in.

Our first time staying at the Ashland Motel-University and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Looks like an old school motor inn on the outside but the rooms inside have been beautifully remodeled. Location is great and you get to park in front of your room which make it great for loading and unloading. The room was very clean! The owners are so nice! We will be back. Great room for a great price!

Doesn't look like much from outside, but the rooms are great. Totally remodeled room with hardwood floors, tiled shower, Kuerig, microwave, VERY comfortable bedding.

Convenient location, nice outdoor saltwater pool, good wifi and AC, quiet, very nice front desk employee who gave GREAT restaurant recommendations close by. Easy check in/check out, very clean and comfortable. One bed slanted to the side a little and the blankets were very heavy for a summer stay, but those were the only drawbacks. They also had awesome industrial luggage racks/shelves and a roomy stone tile shower.

I enjoyed my stay at Ashland Motel-University very much! The rooms are beautiful: hardwood floors; furniture in great taste; room accessories also done with style; bathroom with large tile shower with glass door, everything top notch! The owner operators are kind, informative, quick to respond to your wants/needs. I have no photos but their web site has lots of great images! Highly recommend!

I stayed for the weekend with my two kids, and have very little to complain about. So let's start with bad because there is very few....the blinds were breaking in the room, and the
blinds in the kitchen area didn't even open. And the pillows we're very lumpy, and way over used.
Ok now good. The air was amazing, way too cold woke up freezing.the water got hot and stayed hot, my kids take long showers. There is no bath tub, I have little ones so that was hard. Dishes were clean, room was semi clean, beds we're firm, but comfy. Big set up, small little kitchen, snacks for breakfast, and a nice little pool. Staff was friendly and had no problems with that, if I had come up at a different time I probably could have gotten a better deal, not really worth $100 a night but it was an ok stay. I would stay again

Excellent place. Simple but clean and friendly. Owner/staff very nice. Rooms recently updated and nice. Walking distance to downtown restaurants. Pool straight forward and refreshing.

I have stayed all over Ashland and Medford. This is the single best check-in from housekeeping to fruit desk. Made a new friend and orbital housemate close to work. Room114-117 are the best. If you can handle light Rte 66 traffic on a small road up to 10pm, you'll enjoy a gorgeous view, clear sight of stars and the mountains of our beautiful Rogue Valley. Morning Glory + Brother's for breakfast, Omar's 2 blks away for Happy Hour, lunch and dinner! Medium fancy to Boss, try Marsala or Peerless Restaurant for the best Indian and American Fusion in the Historic Railroad District.

the rooms inside are Sooo much better than you'd expect when looking at the outside. I loved the big walk in shower. Very very comfortable bedding!

Spacious rooms, perfect location and good service. We came in very late (3:30 am) and the hotel was able to accommodate.
