I so appreciate the patience and pragmatism of Dr. Dix. He’s so patient with our blind dog and takes time to let him sniff and orient himself. He’s great at explaining what’s going on and treatment options. The techs are also so kind to our boy. April is extremely helpful at the front and everyone is friendly. We’re lucky to have such a great veterinary care center in our town. Thank you all!

The people who work here are amazing!!! Our dog has severe anxiety with the vet, so we had anxiety when we took him to the vet. Dr. Roger’s and the team at Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital were incredible! They were patient with our dog and during the visit they worked on his anxiety before even touching him. She prescribed medication for his anxiety for when we bring him to the vet and the office staff told us the best time of day to bring him, so there weren’t as many other animals around. They always seem to have a positive attitude. We are very picky about who we let care for our sweet boy and I won’t go anywhere else. We live in Grants Pass and are more than willing to make the drive for good care. We no longer have anxiety taking him to the vet and we know that they’ll take excellent care of him every time. We are so grateful.

They are very kind to pets , My little dog Ivy is never afraid to go there she feels loved from the assistant last time ,also my felines are in good hands when needed it. Thank you. 🐈🐈

Love love love this place! The front staff is always so helpful and greets you and your pets with so much kindness. The back staff are very informative and gentle with the animals. I will always recommend them to anyone who needs a good vet!

After several visits taking both our adopted 'barn cats' and our adopted Blue Heller dog I can say that JVH and it's staff are 5 stars in my experience so far (as seen by my history, I don't give such a high rating very often).
I am especially impressed with the front office staff who consistently make both my pets and me feel welcome from the moment we walk through the door (or in the case of our cats, carried through the door).
Likewise, my experiences with the med tech attending to our Heller 'Lydia' (who was previously the 'rail hopper' companion of our nephew who recently passed away). The Tech made every effort, and more , taking the time necessary to connect with our Heeker who was extremely anxious & a little bit protective during the visit.
In the end we agreed with the Tech's compassionate recommendation to spend extra time familiarizing our dog with the property & office before (including the scale 🤣) before moving on with things like vaccinations which weren't needed quite yet.
With only a small hiccup along the way, and after more than a year going there, I can honestly say that JVH and it's staff are among my most highly rated places in S Oregon. If you go there, I hope that your experience is the same.

Words can’t describe how appreciative I am of these incredibly patient, understanding, and caring people. I have some horror stories with previous vets and that lead me to be very anxious with vets in general but these guys have totally quelled that anxiety (for both me and my dog). They have gone above and beyond for me in the short time I've been seeing them and wish I would've known about them years ago!

These folks were there for us and our kitties.
They are knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. I feel that we got great care and great advice from our doc there. The setting is restful and peaceful, which makes a big difference to a nervous cat. I truly cannot recommend this place highly enough...

I have been a client for a very long time. My animals mean the world to me and as a health care professional myself I can say unequivocally that I trust my boys to the professionals there. Starting with Dr. Frank nearly 40 years ago, continuing today with Doctors Dix and Rogers. I value good patient care and see that every visit.

I have never been to a vets office that has shown more personalized care and attention to my dogs particular needs! I have a very high drive, active working-breed dog who struggles with dog reactivity. The care each of the staff took with her was beyond words. They each acted with such intention and understanding, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Our visit was flawless! She is now home, peacefully recovering from her spay and we look forward to any future interactions with our new favorite vet office. So grateful!

Everyone from the front office to vet techs to the vet are so caring and professional. The office communicated how my pet did right after surgery and the vet tech gave clear after surgery instructions. The office also does their best to coordinate appointments with my several animals.

I discovered Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital under very sad and difficult circumstances. After looking for a vet we liked in our area for several years, this initial experience immediately made clear that Dr. Rogers was the vet we were seeking. She is not only a highly skilled and knowledgeable vet, she is incredibly compassionate and caring. In addition, the entire staff at Jville Vet is absolutely the best I’ve ever experienced. Beyond the basic friendliness one hopes for when visiting a vet’s or doctor’s office, I’ve always felt completely welcomed and that every staff person I’ve talked to and dealt with truly cares about me and my animals. April and Nancy who staff the front desk have been wonderful to us and have always gone the extra mile to help us with whatever is needed. We are very grateful to have found Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital and the top-notch care our animals receive there.

Our children how we agonize taking them to a new vet. WOW, I was extremely impressed with the time and care taken with Maxmillion by the tecs Emily and Erica. Dr. Rogers, the exam, the care and an executed plan to keep Max’s diabetes more controlled. They showed us how to properly clean his ears. The front desk employees are helpful and kind. I can not say enough good things about them. Because of my job at C.A.T.S. I have worked with Jacksonville Vet for over 10 years and have transferred my own pets to their care.

I've been going to this vet now for 6 years. And my animals love them. I love them too, they listen to what your concerns are, and the address them. , Very thorough, and very thorough in their follow-ups.
The only thing that concerns me, is that they do not have overnight stay for animals that are getting out of surgery. Luckily none of mine have had huge surgery so that really wasn't a concern but , for some people It might be. I'm not sure what they do about that. But all in all. But that's a very professional and they know their business. The front gals at the desk are terrific!

I am new to this veterinary service and am so impressed with the entire staff’s care and compassion. Not only was the examination thorough, but the education provided was great. I appreciated that recommendations were given, as well as options for care. Chumley (the patient) was treated so well. Except for the shot, she didn’t seem to mind the visit at all.

Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital has taken care of my cats since Dr. Frank opened the doors many many years ago.
Doctor Dix and the entire staff that works there now are carrying on the legacy of asking the right questions, listening to my concerns and finding solutions to give Stella my cat companion the best life possible. I appreciate the compassion and care we always receive from all the team.

I go here with all my furry friends. And even had to say goodbye to 2 of them. JVH has always been kind and respectful plus it usually comes out cheaper than any other animal clinic I've gone! They really take the time to know there patients and there parents (humans lol)
