Had an issue with forwarding a package following my move to the area. David came through. Even though the issue was on my old post office's end, he was able to reach out to them where I was unable and get my package on it's way - within a single business day. Now, of course, we got a little lucky - so don't go expecting solutions that fast, but have confidence in the fact that they will do everything they can to solve your problem. David knows what he's doing!!

I recently moved to Jacksonville and had to get a post office box for the first time. The clerk was so helpful giving me tips on how deliveries work, how to write my address to ensure deliveries and all the little things to know as he warmly welcomed me to town!

I have always enjoyed going in to our little country post office. The people are always so very nice to me. All I can say to those who are unhappy for whatever reason, just remember you live in the world you create. If you are dissatisfied with the world you live in......just take a long look in the mirror, if you learn anything you may live a happier life.

Postmaster Thomas is always on top of things when I have a question/minor issue. I ship a LOT of things. Sometimes I have to go into the post office to drop them off or pay for shipping, but mostly use online services. They are always friendly and quick here.

Always efficient, courteous, patient, and caring. They have gone the extra mile to assist me several times. And friendly. Wonderful post office crew. Jacksonville is very lucky.

I lived in this wonderful town in the late '60s to 70's. An amazing town with extremely friendly people. When we lived there it was just a few blocks up the hill from Britt Gardens. Back then just a fun little festival. I would love to see what it has become. While we lived there a movie movie was filmed along the main street of town. They put in board sidewalks, dirt on main street that turned to mud after a nig rain. Standing in the Beekman bank watching Cliff Robertson in fight scenes and then going to tje "big" premier at the Criterion Theatre in Medford! Marching as a majorette in the Pear Blossom parade, homecoming ... all such fun sweet merories. Now I hear it's all about the "wine" I must plan a trip SOON.

Historic-feel building in handy location. Nice, polite staff. Usually no or very little wait for service. We are fortunate to have this excellent post office!

Helped me get a po box and change of mailing address set up. They are very busy with how much covid is effecting the post industry but still were able to help me

This office is worthless. Staff has always been rude and unhelpful. With most larger packages they get delayed at least a day after getting to this office. The delivery drivers are usually nice however.

I am in Jacksonville as a pet sitter. I went to the post office to let them know that I was in town and what my address was just so there could be no confusion. And yet still, they cannot deliver a package to the address on the package - which is their job!! Their excuse was an “incomplete address”, which was totally false.

We have lived in Jacksonville 19 years and we had to have a post office box because the post office only delivers on the other side of our street. Anyway it’s been doable up until this year when I went in to pick up extra mail. We regularly pick up our mail once a week so it was shocking that we had a tray of mail. When I got in my car I noticed several Christmas cards and Christmas shopping bills I had called on wondering where the statements were. So to my dismay I realized our mail was from December. I went back into let the worker know. He was newer and didn’t seem moved or apologetic. His response was “well we must have misplaced your mail”. I really avoid confrontation like the flu but as I’m now paying late fees and my excellent credit score is being effected my once melancholy approach has moved into I’m done with the Jacksonville Post Office. This is ridiculous that they aren’t suffering for their mistake. Totally frustrated.

Despite contacting this post office over 5 times to deliver the packages to our door if they won't fit in the package box, they still hold it for pickup, we live just down the street from the mailbox, we had previously been able to get actual delivery, but now all our requests are ignored and the service that is supposed to deliver packages does not deliver packages. There's no excuse for this laziness from the USPS

I paid for a post office box that would more than easily cover the mail that I receive. However they have stuffed that box full of junk mail and for previous box tenants for more than five years! I have talked to them repeatedly about it. It fills my box up too much so that I cannot receive mail that is actually mine. Then they leave me a note telling me that I have mail waiting , but I cannot get to the PO Box during regular business hours-- which is why I got one in the first place. I have talked to the management about this several times, and I have even shown them the stack of other people's mail that is not mine, and they still do nothing. Their solution is for me to spend more money on a bigger box, which does not benefit the customer, it only benefits the post office and the people who send junk mail.

Sorry. But, they are the worst. I moved to town and was never notified that they don't don't deliver to my home. I went 2 weeks with no mail. They messed up my forwarding mail, they have sent back packages in error, and lost others. Not sure what is going on there, but I am tired of chasing down refunds from vendors on stuff I never get!!!!

who ever they out source mail delivery to is worthless. I get alerts that a package was delivered but the mail carrier never delivers then I get a notice 2 days after I was told they tried delivery.
