El Gallo Mexican Supermarket

This review is for the taco bar outside in the back. Lo juro que es lo mejor de medford! I have been in Oregon for a month now, and I have tried between ten and fifteen different restaurants, and this place, although informal, was fun, good music, awesome salsa bar with free delicious beans and fixins, and hands down the most delicious tacos I have eaten probably in the entire country. Even better than some parts of mexico. If you don't try this place, you are missing out on the bombest spot. Learn some spanish before you go and you will be rewarded. Aguas frescas are off the chain too. Bless you GALLO! 💥

I've been shopping here for many years, they have a very good selection and a great meat department. They have items I can't find in any other store.

Great customer service, their carnitas are really good, everything I need for carne asada you get it there fresh.

This review is for the restaurant in the parking lot, planned on going to the grocery store but the smell of grilled meat changed all that!
Ordered a couple tacos, Asada and al pastor, very reasonably priced and very good on big white corn tortillas. The wait was long, standing room only, sooo many flies, hot on the pavement. This is Mexico, it could have been anywhere in Northern Mexico, pretty cool if you don't have the time to travel but want a real deal taco, come here.
Almost no one observing covid precautions and not the most sanitary situation but if you have an immune system and understand germ theory, you will be fine.
The parking was chaos but fun to watch while waiting for our food. I hope to make it inside the building next time and hopefully it won't be so busy.

This review is specifically for the taco stand outside the supermarket. My go to for great tacos. The tortillas are fresh, the carne is done right, great salsa bar, and they're always super nice & friendly there.

I love it it’s absolute amazing one of the best places I’ve been to and I love the fresh pan dulce and the other bread they make absolute Amazing and I would come here every week and the meat place pretty good and I love the carne asada ranchera and the candy there and vegetables there

A great spot to enjoy handmade tortillas, a wide selection on meats, and a well assorted salsa bar. A place like this can easily be Taco Day EVERYDAY

Stuff you can't get elsewhere like chorizo, chipotle queso, lots of dried and fresh chiles like grande pablanos and ancho anchos for your rellenos.

The owner's son even made good when I bet him that I could roll a 7 on the first try with the dice they had for sale.

20 steps behind the market is an awesome taqueria with $2 tacos de lengua, de cabeza de puerco, al pastor. Muchos salsas, cilantro, cebollos, jalapenos. escabeche.

Still my favorite place to get unusual pastries. Staff is 50/50 meat counter is nice cashiers unfriendly. The place is a literal mob on Saturday mornings. Parking is hard tiny lot double or triple stacked.

We love El Gallo! They have a great selection of Mexican food products such as fresh meat, pan dulces, and all sorts of items that you need to prepare Mexican food. The customer service is beyond great! The food truck outside of the market has yummy prepared food to either eat there or take out.

I really like this place. I have been in several times to get all kinds of produce and deli goods and they have always been great. The service deli has lots of good items and great marinated fajita mix. Fast and friendly service.

The homemade tortillas are amazing, and the torta is hard to beat. Super fresh!

We love their meat deli, especially the al pastor pork, and just recently got some goodies from the pastries and donut section that were delicious.

The concha breads were delish and el Pan Bolio was sooo soft! The Oaxaca Mole was just what we needed! We've been here in So Oregon for about 7 months and are having withdrawals from not having a panaderia / taqueria on every corner like back in Cali😂 Glad we found this Mexican Market 👍👌

Great service good quality meats, carnitas cooked daily, but you got to come early they sell out quickly
