Seriously one of the best experiences we have had at accommodations with a lounge and restaurant.

They were short staffed, but Nina at the front desk took care of us in a quick and welcoming fashion. We even got an upgrade, which we were thrilled about.

The room was the most unique and enjoyable we have stayed in a long time. We loved the fireplace and Jacuzzi tub.

Jess was an absolute rockstar in the restaurant and lounge. She was covering the entirety of both and did with class and personality. We never felt we had to wait too long and she gave food recommendations that were absolutely appreciated and enjoyed.

Jess recommended the Chicken dinner and it was one of the better meals we have had, with the right flavors, seasonings and presentation. We opted for the German chocolate cake and it is by far the best I have ever had.

We were also lucky enough to chat with the owner as he was there helping Jess and the other staff, and had a great conversation about the place and a bit about society. You are doing a great job with the place!

Very welcoming and we cannot wait to return.

Excellent hospitality at this serene mountain lodge and restaurant. We stayed two nights, the first in the lower level waterfall patio room and our second was in the third floor suite with a fireplace and beautiful view of the property below. It was warm and inviting, plus dinner was delicious with comfort food specials like meatloaf wrapped in bacon and Yorkshire pudding too. Would highly recommend for a mountain getaway. Perfect way to celebrate the holiday. Special thanks to their staff Eric, Bonnie and Susie for their help!

I was happy with the staff, the breakfast and price. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful it was hot as can be! ! There were a few negative things I can comment on.
1. The carpets were gross however this being a pet friendly establishment I understand.
2. I wasn’t so sure if the shower had been cleaned thoroughly . Also the water pressure in the shower wasn't great.
3. The pillows were way to small
4. Please retire the disgusting chairs!!! The brown chairs are so gross and old. Toss em!
However I'm still giving this place 5 stars because jacuzzi tub was great!!

Had a perfect close to home romantic vacation while only 30 minutes from home and kids. If you have teens that need a brake from you ;-) I can not recommend this enough. Grab your favorite snack and toys. Dress up for the bar or just spend the night in the jetted tub watching the fireplace flicker or watching your favorite movie.

This place was so great. We found it on Booking and what a secret gem, even extended our stay! The rooms are big/comfy w/ a wood burning fireplace and Jacuzzi tub.

It's mid December so the place is decorated like a winter wonderland straight out of my Hallmark Christmas movie dreams. 😁 Huge fireplaces add to an already cozy vibe.

Staff was so kind, upgraded us and kept checking in. Breakfast is simple and free w/everything you need. But the magic is when the restaurant opens! Prime Rib was awesome, appetizers and desserts were great too. They even offered to send it to our room.❤

Thank you Callahan's! We will be back!

This is now my choice spot for my travels south during the holidays. I feel taken care of and welcomed as a queer person too. I booked through the website and actually got upgraded the house with no extra charge. Everything is clean, it’s easy to find and it’s charming as all get out! Also the food is awesome. The only request I have is some scrambled eggs in the morning but that’s all!

Wow what a lovely surprise! After several stays at corporate chain hotels Callahans was a great change of pace! We stopped off to sleep for the night on our journey from Fresno to Portland and just wanted a place to rest our heads but with Callahans we got so much more! Beautifully decorated rustic wooden hotel with service that feels personal. It has the charm of a bed and breakfast. Room was under $100 but had to be one of the coolest rooms I’ve ever stayed in! Highly recommended! Stay here!

Just stopped in to stretch and relieve my back pain, lucky me it was happy hour with 1/2 off appetizers. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stop in again the next time I'm driving thru.

Very cute little mountain lodge stashed away in the forest. My wife and I decided to break up our drive from Eugene to Sacramento by treating ourselves to a little get away near some hiking. I was a little nervous after reading some negative reviews about rude customer service, but I had absolutely no issues with that. We started at the bar for a quick drink to unwind, and Eric was amazing. He had lots of information on the lodge as well as the surrounding area. Thanks to his advice, we went up to the ski resort to check out the views, even though there wasn't a flake of snow to be seen. After our hike, we headed back for dinner. Cayla served us an amazing steak and some lambchops. The kitchen took care of my wife's dietary concerns without making it a big deal at all. Cayla claimed to have only worked there a couple weeks, but she certainly could have fooled us. The only minor complaint I had was that I couldn't quite get the jets to work in our jetted tub. There were some instructions on the wall to reset the jets under the bathroom sink or call the front desk for help. I gave up before bothering to call the front desk, so I don't feel like I can complain too bad. Overall, definitely a repeat location.

We stopped here for quick stop for the night on our drive from California. It was perfect they allow dogs, super clean and nice. We loved it! They have a trail you can walk right around the property my pup and I loved. Easy access from the freeway.
I wish we could stay longer!

Starting from the begining and making our reservations with Bonnie was actually a fun experience! She was friendly, informative, and just a pleasure to speak with on the phone. I have to add that I called Bonnie back at least 5 times with questions about the reservations and she continued to be as friendly as could be!!! THANK YOU BONNIE!!!! Now for part 2 of this fantastic mini vacation.... Checking in was an amazing experience!!!! SUSIE, checked us in and she went above and beyond anything Ive seen in other resorts!!! First of all she greeted us with the biggest smile and friendliest "HI HOW ARE YOU" we actually FELT that welcome to our lodge family feeling! Then we mentioned possibly seeing our room for a bit less on line and she simply replied, "well let me see what I can do". SUSIE ended up saving us a little AND upgrading our room to a suite! Sussie and Bonnie should both be recognized for the outstanding job they did in helping us with our entire stay!!! I do not often write such a detailed review but this needed to be done!!!! Thank Callahans.... Oh wait, the room was beautiful, clean, cozy, just an amazing stay all around!!!! Thank you again and we will return soooon!

A hidden gem! What a wonderful place to get away, for even just a day. The stay was wonderful and the food was great! We decided to take a little day getaway from the everyday mundane. Callahans hit the spot! The staff is great and very friendly and attentive. I recommend anyone near or far to check it out. We will be back!

Convenient location from I-5 - big sign above trees, greeted by a super warm and friendly Crystalin - room spacious, just a note about the carpeting, could use a shampoo, some stains, it is a very dog friendly place though and love the fact that they are welcome in the restaurant- the carbonara was like homemade, and Jess was super nice. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, can’t say enough about the parfait crème with fresh fruit and homemade granola, fresh whipped cream for the waffles and quiche - this chef is a keeper! My next encounter was with Suzy, soft spoken and professional - bed was super comfortable. The lodge is like a ski chalet- very rustic with cool decor. 🐶

This place is so awesome for a get away! We stayed for a week 17th-22nd and it seemed like we are the only people to stay for that long? But it was sooo worth it. The closest town (Ashland) was about 20 minutes away right off the 5 north. The entire place is so gorgeous. I would 100% stay here again! The room was large, spacious, comfortable. Everything about this place was so awesome! ..

The only negative: the food was sooo expensive. It cost $80 for a chicken covered is lack luster sauce, and my husband got beef stroganoff. And it was $80.. we didn't order drinks or anything extra. And there was a 20% gratuity on top of that.

So if you are going to stay here just don't eat here. Worth the stay but not worth buying food from.

We had a car club rally up the back roads to Callahan's. Nice scenic drive about 20 cars. We had a limited menu due to size of our party with about 5 choices. I had the gouda burger & fries. Normally when I ask for burger medium well it's always over cooked but Callahan's nailed it. It came with seasoned fries that were top notch.

Husband and I stayed here for our one year wedding anniversary and we had the best experience! The room was big and very clean and the jacuzzi tub was relaxing but the service was definitely the reason why we will come back. Jay was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcome. The bartender Eric was really nice and made a delicious lemon drop. If you stay for dinner you HAVE to get the chocolate tarte (GF) it was delicious!!! Can’t wait to go back again!

The manager and his team are so nice and made us feel at home. Helped and served us at our worst and when we need the most help. Recommend it 100 and will definitely go back again. We were very taken care of. Me and my family are very grateful.

Such a cute and comfy lodge! Unfortunately, we were in the middle of the blizzard but staffs were all very helpful. We'll visit here again!

Last December we were driving to Oregon from California and as our gas odometer told us we had 2 miles left with 8 miles to the nearest gas station we took the next exit and found Callahan's. The staff was very helpful with our gas situation and the place was like a diamond in the rough. We took the opportunity last night and stayed at the lodge and ate at their restaurant. We sat outside surrounded by beautiful scenery and weather and enjoyed a great dinner served by Nichole. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room exceeded our expectations. The bed was very comfortable, the exterior door went out to a patio and we can't wait to return in cold weather to light the fireplace in the room. We also enjoyed our visit with Jay the manager.
