Was pleasantly surprised when entering our cozy room. The bed was better than a 5star high end Hotel. So comfy along with the bedding. Room was quiet and exceptionally clean. Walking distance to everything downtown Jackson's has to offer, including Britt festival. Would definitely stay, again

I’ve been to the wine (& beer) shop and tasting room w/ some nice appetizers in the past. Great spot by-the-way. This review is for the newly-opened restaurant downstairs.

The management has extensive experience in this business and this restaurant may be one of their most personalized offerings.

Our party was lucky and we learned a little of the family history and experiences from one of the restaurant’s creators; Miriam Barchi.😊

The food is the best I’ve had in Jacksonville so far and there are several very nice restaurants in town. The food is top tier. Comparable to fine dining in the best restaurants I’ve visited in the US, Europe & Asia.

My wife had the Halibut and I had the duck. Miriam helped us select wines by the glass and they were excellent. Unfortunately I don’t remember the name, but it was an Italian red.

The staff was very attentive and the place was pretty busy with customers. Nice to see.

The prices were $$$$, but given the overall experience, excellent food and service, it was appropriate.

We’ll be back. Perhaps for my wife’s birthday coming this Fall.

We had a phenomenal meal and even better service with 4 kids and 4 adults in a fine dining setting. Our server was from Tennessee (I forgot his name), but wow outstanding professionalism and warmth. The maitre d was so thoughtful about our rowdy group's comfort. We had the duck, tar tar, clams, truffle fries, home made chicken nuggets off the kid's menu and grilled octopus (the star for me). Everything was perfectly executed. Perfect for a special occasion or to open a bottle you've been saving! We are all San Francisco transplants to Southern Oregon and do miss some of the dining options from time to time. The new Jacksonville Inn restaurant fills my cup! Bravo!

A new restaurant has opened in the downstairs portion of the hotel and the food and service is mind-blowing! Some of the best food I've had in Oregon. Everything made with passion, attention to detail, and exquisite taste! Highly recommended!

First time in a while since new owners/management. My wife and I had a great time! Extremely impressed in all aspects. I recommend trying this eatery.

We booked our reservations by calling, excellent customer service from the start of the call, very professional. The young woman even asked if we were celebrating a special event. The food selection was amazing, server was well versed in wine pairings, which we loved! The food presentation was beautiful, the new risotto is flavorful and the toasted meringue cake was to die for. Who I can only assume was the restaurant manager stopped by our table for a brief chat, she was warm and very welcoming, we stopped in the wine bar to pick up a bottle of wine on our way out, it was beautifully designed, fantastic wine selection, very knowledgeable staff. All in all the Jacksonville Inn quickly rose to the top of our favorite place to visit this trip to Oregon.

We ate at their restaurant for Valentines day. Great food, a little pricy

Shared an incredible dinner here with my husband for my birthday. We had a delectable seafood chowder and homemade bread to start.
This time of year, every restaurant around has a roasted beet salad, so of course we had that, too! Great contrast of sweet and sour flavors and it had the most roasted beets of all the salads I've had elsewhere, so kudos on that for sure!
We had the buttermilk fried chicken and Parmesan crusted halibut. Both were delicious and we really appreciated the little details like the crispy parsnips, quite a nice surprise.
We didn't leave a single bite of anything and although we couldn't eat another smidge, we got the Meyer lemon pot de creme just for fun...WOW! Absolutely incredible! Ate every bit of that, too!

Thank you to our server Nico, you made our evening perfect!

We love everything of this restaurant. Prime Rib was well cook and separated two plates for us to share. We selected grill vegetables and mashed potatoes to match the meat, of course, with the suggestion of our wonderful server. The appetizer of oysters was delicious, beautifully tasting with the local Chardonnay. They has a list of salads and offer half size, so you can try more than one at a meal. Thanks for providing great food, excellent service with such a reasonable and affordable price range!❤

Unfortunately the Inn no longer provides dining services, but the wine bar is booming! Great appetizers and small plates with wine tasting daily. Come in and see Pia for a great experience. Their retail selection and pricing is downright good.

This is a review of the (brand new but still historic) *restaurant* at the Jacksonville Inn. Its ownership is unaffiliated with the hotel.

The restaurant only opened in midsummer 2023. Any reviews you read that pre-date June of 2023 can be disregarded.

The new restaurant is fabulous, operated by a team with some serious pedigree in the realm of fine dining (think Napa/Sonoma).

This is not your grandparents' Jville Inn restaurant. It is now quite probably the finest restaurant between Portland and the California wine country.

The remodel of the dining room retains the historic charm while feeling thoroughly modern in a relaxed kind of way.

The menu (not hyper-extensive but imaginative), the wine list (ditto) and the food are on a par with what you'd hope to find 400 miles south of here. The only thing missing is the Bay Area prices --- dining here is not materially pricier than dining at places in Medford or Ashland.

A massive upgrade over what was there before and wholeheartedly recommended!

For a romantic getaway near home this was a great place to spend it. My husband and I each took a soak in the high backed copper tub. The sheets and bedding were lovely. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, and notes and texts from the staff that made the service great, though we never saw a soul.

Wow! I had dinner here for St. Paddy’s Day and their special was amazing. Apparently their new head chef is very passionate about curing and specialty meats. This showed through in the delicious corned beef special that I ordered. The service was spectacular with our server, Amanda, showing equal parts wit/humor and competency/timing. The ambience was perfect and they had an amazing wine selection. I had a peek at their brunch menu (drooling!) while I was there and that is definitely next up. I can’t wait to come back…again and again!

I've not stayed at the Inn, but I've eaten there. I like the patio out back when weather permits. The wait staff is polite & knowledgeable about the menu. I must eat gluten free so eating out can be a challenge at times. They took all the challenge away... I had a fabulous meal. FYI, the beet salad is to die for!

Wow wow wow and wow. Food is amazing!!!! I'm not gonna lie, I'm usually pretty cheap and wouldn't spend this much on food. But let me tell you: it is 100% worth it. 100%. Everything i tried was phenomenal!!! PHENOMENAL!!! And I'm talking from appetizers to entrees to dessert to drinks. Nothing came close to disappointing. Absolutely amazing food and drinks, and after going once I am sold and will definitely be back again because it is worth it! Owners and staff are friendly, great, and knowledgeable. You can't go wrong here. An absolute must stop for food and drinks. And the history is very cool as well.

Over the last couple years this has become our go-to spot for a romantic dinner. Is it pricey, indeed it is. But the ambiance, atmosphere (is that the same as ambiance, idk), food, and service are all top notch. As a matter of fact we have reservations for our 21st anniversary coming up this Thursday and we are stoked!
