I've been there twice. Dr Waymon is amicable and competent and the office staff is fine. I also was able to be seen without a long wait, either to get an appointment or once in the office.

My almost two year old daughter had to have ear tubes. Dr. Wayman was great. He explained everything to me and my husband. His staff went out of their way to help us with any and all concerns that we had, including responding on weekends and late evenings. They went above and beyond. Cindi is fantastic and is an asset to the practice. This was my daughter's first surgery. I could not have asked for a better experience. They made us feel like we were a priority, even though this was a very minor procedure. I cannot express how pleased we are with Dr. Wayman and his staff. They are outstanding!

Unlike several reviews, my wife and I have both been treated at Southern Oregon ear nose and throat with the utmost skill and kindness. We have had nothing but professional treatment from the entire staff. Based on our experience, it is hard to imagine the stories told by several people over the last year.

Superb Moh's surgery on my lower eyelid. Excellent and personable physician, excellent staff well trained and attentive to needs.

Speaking as a physician, now retired, this is the way medicine and surgery should be practiced.

Is not gentle and causes pain when cleaning out/looking in your ears. Tells you not to use qtips but does NOT tell you what to do about itchy ears caused by psoriasis even when you ask. If you ask again he restores to the "because I said so" model of "doctoring". 🙄

Had a rough experience with my first surgery, NEVER been treated well or professional by Cyndi his office manager and nurse. Have patient advocate of you deal with them!

Take your business elsewhere! According to Cindy, they won't see a patient who was previously seen at Oregon Ear, Nose & Throat. I find it very interesting that there is such a difference in the reviews for both places, but due to my experience- the reason for this is obvious. I was told that Cindy was in charge and that there was no one else I could speak with about this. I called prior to a referral being sent to inquire and was not advised that my son could not be seen due to being seen by Oregon ENT. In addition, I was all but told that Oregon ENT has more doctors and in other ways it was implied that they were a better place to go. I am sure that Cindy's employer would not want patients to be told this. Oregon Ear, Nose & Throat was fine, but my son was afraid of the tools for ear wax removal, anesthesia was suggested (generally, he isn't a challenging patient, but he has still been adjusting after his summer visitation with his father). My son has also agreed that he would not cause a fuss with another ear appointment. As I am not comfortable with hospitalization and anesthesia for my 8 year old son (with a less than emergent issue), I felt as a parent the best option would be to try one more attempt in an office. Another complicating factor is that I am a single mother of three within 30 days of relocating out of state (where I know absolutely no one- so no help getting children to appointments) and will not have any time off due to starting a new job. It took a long time to get my son his initial appointment with Oregon ENT and despite booking several months in advance, now he needs an appointment with an ENT before we move. My son's excellent pediatrician kindly referred my 8 year old son to this office to be seen, so that the wax might be able to be removed and his hearing retested, without anesthesia. Obviously, as per Cindy, this business will not see my son (or apparently any other patient that was seen at Oregon ENT). It's disheartening to know that this office didn't even attempt to accommodate or ask if the doctor would be willing to help my child. I felt the need to write this review so that other people don't waste their time with this business (and frankly, who wants to support a business that treats clients like this?). It is truly a shame considering they may have a great doctor, however, Cindy is turning people away and leaving an unhelpful and bad impression.

This Office Manager/RN Cindy is hands down the rudest person in an office I have ever dealt with. I am amazed at how long she has worked there- with every encounter for over 10 years has been unfavorable, very disappointing from a professional standpoint as well as a patient.

Nurse Cindy has no compassion for any patient. They outright make up stories, like, as they don't want to accept OHP clients or if they don't think you are $good$ enough for their practice. I must assume Dr. Wayman is a mirror as he chose Cindy to represent his "practice". I wouldn't trust them with anything alive. This is the the worst ENT practice I have ever encountered. They medically neglect their patients. Denial of care, of services. They lack humanity in any form. My insurance co caught them in their lives and demanded I be seen, then they continued to demonize me for one 5 minute encounter with Nurse "Ratchett", so they could again deny me care. It's clear the almighty dollar is their god.

My 7 yr old son had to have 3 different procedures at once. He had his tonsils and adenoids removed, and tubes put in his ears. Well he was refusing to swallow his medications, and was in horrible pain. I called Dr Waymans office, only to be told by the nurse, that he was just playing his mom. She acted as if this poor, sick little boy, was doing it on purpose, jyst for attention. Well he ended up being rushed to the emergency room, and the physician there was extremely worried about him. He couldn't hardly catch a breath, because there was a thick mucus blocking his airway. It was horrifying! Before the surgery, our household ended up getting ill, so I tried to reschedule the surgery. Dr Wayman REFUSED to allow me to cancel the surgery. They have very poor bedside manners. I am so sorry my poor child had to endure everything he went through, then to have his Drs office tell me he was faking. I had my tonsils out at age 16. I know what agony it is, along with having horrible ear infections resulting in several ruptured eardrums. This Dr has no business treating children.

Horrible office. My PCP referred me to SOENT for evaluation for a sore throat and inflamed tonsil. After 3 weeks SOENT stated they would not accept the referral because I have a thyroid problem, I don't have a thyroid problem and that was not why I was being referred. I spoke to Kayla and she stated that the referral stated I had a thyroid issue. I told Kayla that was not possible since I have a copy of the referral request and it says nothing about a thyroid issue, she insisted that it did. I then contacted my PCP office and they further confirmed that the referral was for a sore throat. SOENT is not providing any level of quality care and they should be avoided.

Do not go here, the office manager is the worst I have ever met. I tried for 2 months to schedule an appointment and still didn't get one. I had several Dr. offices send my records there and when I questioned if it was going to take another month she told me to leave. I said I would gladly go to another doctor if she would give me my records. She refused and threatened to call security. When I returned a half hour later to get her name she told me she had shredded them.

The nurse was great but I got no after care instructions after my procedure and the doctor didn’t seem to care at all.
