Douglass Park

Nice place to go for the kids to play. Also, this is one of the only parks in Lexington that has summer events on a regular basis.

This is a nice park has public restrooms seems as if there is usually activities later in the day if u like quiet and sounds of nature try in mornings its great

Douglas Park is epic for basketball history that played a major part in the relations between races back in the day. By far I feel the best hoppers in the best league hail from Douglas Park. Yes back in the day violence and crime plague it, but now it has calmed down alot. Douglas Park is not the largest but, it has all the things needed for a great Park. There are multiple courts, the is a nice play section for the kids, and the is a staging area for events. I want to marry my future bride in that park because the setting is fit specifically for me. That area of town is special to me and so that Park is my favorite by far to my heart. God bless Douglas Park...Big Figidy Facts!!

Went to a b-day party there and it was lit..had a basketball tournament going on too but the hosts of the party rented the shelter and it was the most fun I've had all summer..not sure what it ran them or how to get one but I know it's a good location and pretty spacious..was room for a DJ and his huge speakers and equipment plus like ten or more tables plus chairs which the park provides I think and there was a sort of kitchen off to the side with running water and bathrooms too I believe..the play area directly out back of the shelter was dead accept for the party guests which was ideal but over by the basketball court it was packed but everything was very friendly and still plenty of parking and no kind of drama or annoyance or any kind of things that would be inconvenient in any way..loved it!

This is one of the top recreational areas in the central Ky area. Fayette county did a great job on the design and architecture. It has a pool, many basketball goals, playground for the little ones and is very peaceful. They have a stage area for entertainment and music. Picnic area as well. Everything for the family, walk your dog, bike, plenty of exercise in a clean and beautiful park. Thursday evening is music and other events for the public. Recommended for all.

The park was clean, great atmosphere with good music from our local DJ's! I was at the park with my husbands friend who was out doing a fish fry and also has a clothing line called FRESH CARGO.

I really like the new equipment they have at this park. It's in a nice neighborhood. Bathrooms could be a little cleaner, but they are functional with diaper changing table. My kids always find other nice kids to play with at the park.

This park is a great place for our family. My boys love the playground equipment. There's a free splash pad near the pool. The park is well maintained, clean, and fun.

It's a quaint little park and convenient for those that live in the neighborhood. I feel it's not used to its full potential considering the fact that it has softball fields but no leagues use it. The park does get a bad rap because of crime that has occurred there.

This park is very clean and maintained and has a place for all ages from swings to basketball courts to softball field and it has two drive up bathrooms through park plenty of grassy area with picknic tables to eat on and big enough area and space between tables to set a blanket and have a nice meal on the beautiful green grass .... This is a very nice park !

Love this place I like the fact that they have two people swings cause the little guy I like to take just can't do it by his self

Good place for kids. Not crowded and quiet. Kids played there for 2 hours and we were the only family there

Large park with plenty of green space. Nice playground next to a shelter with a stage connected. (3) official size basketball courts, a swimming pool, and at-least (2) baseball fields.

Security, enjoy singing out church choir and pastor preaching ministries to all was a Blessing to be there 🙏💒🗣

Very nice park. A lot of great community programs offered at the park. Great place to bring your kids.

Great park! I have always loved being in Douglas Park. I grew up in Charlotte Court & I recommend this park for family gatherings
