Unique Experience Eatery

Really enjoyed this little restaurant. Lovely place, inside and the surroundings. Begun by a local ministry to create jobs and build the community. They were having bingo for seniors when I was there. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, my server was great.

Earl and John run an amazing restaurant. All of the food is amazing. They are truly remarkable chefs. The father son duo have perfected their menu and have a great personality to match. They make sure you're meal and experience exceed expectations. The collard greens, mac and cheese and carrots are must try sides but you can't go wrong with anything.

Wow!!!! Can I give this restaurant a 10? 5 just is not high enough. The NHS Class of 1976 held their class reunion there yesterday and the restaurant truly lived up to its name. It was definitely a unique experience. The experience was flawless from the initial scheduling process to the exiting of the last classmate!!!!! Serving 63 classmates ordering “full selection” off the menu in a prescribed amount of time was no easy feat. They handled it well and with a smile. The food was excellent! The service was great and the facility is very nice. There was a struggle w/the air conditioning on the first 94 degree day of the year but that too was resolved. We have another hidden treasure tucked away in our beloved Northern Neck!!!

We don't t get back to the Northern Neck very often, but love to search out new restaurants and try them. We found Unique Experience today and couldn't have found a better place. The restaurant itself is beautiful. We talked with the owner and were quite impressed,
a very nice gentleman. We told him how much we were impressed. The service was great with a very hospitable staff, ready to answer any questions we had. The food was very good and very adequate. We love crab soup and it was delicious. My husband had the oysters and said they were very good. If you are looking for ambiance and good food, look no further. Can't wait to go back.

Two weeks ago, we were on vacation in Lottsburg, VA, a small community near the Chesapeake Bay. Unfamiliar with the area, we were exploring, trying to find a place to eat, when we happened on a sign that said, "Unique Experience Eatery." Following the driveway through the woods, we arrived at a surprisingly large building tucked among the trees. We were seated immediately by a friendly hostess in front of a beautiful fireplace set in stone, which would be amazing in the winter. Our waitress appeared promptly and we were served drinks. I ordered fried oysters with collard greens and a baked potato, and my husband had crab cakes with sides. The oysters were lightly breaded and tasted so fresh and sweet, I felt I was eating right on the shore! My husband was just as pleased with his crab cakes. In fact, everything was delicious and prepared fresh! While the food was amazing, the hospitality topped anything else we experienced that vacation. Earl came out to greet us and spent time talking with us. He was a wonderfully friendly person who made us feel comfortable and welcome. All in all, we love the restaurant so much, we went back. If we were to visit the area again, we'd go back, but we'd try their lovely deck next time! We highly recommend that you check out Unique Experience!

We love this restaurant! Everything is delicious. We just heard that you’re only open for events. So sad to hear that. We’ve always looked forward to visiting our son and family in the area, so we could dine at Unique! Please reopen!

8/7/2021- Three of us just visiting folks went for lunch based on my son’s rave review. We all ordered chicken and we were not disappointed. We agreed it was perhaps the most moist and tender chicken we’ve ever had. Yet, it was nice and crispy on the outside. I really liked the homemade corn pudding. We were stuffed so dessert was not possible; however; we ordered it to go. I know the Homestyle Coconut Encrusted Cake is fresh baked because it was still in the oven when we were ready to leave. We came back later and the desserts were fantastic. The facility is impressive and the staff is very friendly. Overall a most pleasant and relaxing dining experience. Don’t miss it.

Dinner at Unique Eatery tonight was excellent! Bang Bang shrimp and chicken wings for appetizers were huge and yummy!! We had the fried cod special and a salad and both were excellent. You need to try (or re-try) this restaurant folks!

I had the Rock fish. It was delicious. It came with green beans. When I asked if they were prepared with pork, the server checked. They were. She took them back and brought me broccoli. I am allergic to pork.

Everything was excellent. The luncheon seafood platter was wonderful. The collard greens were stupendous. The crabcake sandwich was amazing. The service was crackerjack. The ambiance, music was soothing, And even the landscaping outside was gorgeous. We're coming back, guys.

My wife and I came across this gem of a restaurant tonight, smooth jazz playing great atmosphere fine dinning and the food was perfect. Stuffed rock fish scallops were done just right. This is a must stop if you're in the northern neck. And the price was very reasonable

I really enjoyed the food and the Atmosphere. Starting with the waitresses staff. They were very professional and on point. I was there on yesterday 1/14/21 evening and I had the Ribeye Steak Dinner and Apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert. I recommend to all the

We were there for a birthday party gathering, and the accommodations were amazing from the private room to the special request music station; Unique Experience Eatery catered to all of our needs.
The Sangria is amazing, and the cranberry pecan salad was delicious!

I honestly can't explain how good the food is here. It's worth the price. It's worth your time. And it's beautiful inside. The staff is incredibly nice, and the owner is friendly.

First time lunch 1/8/21 a great experience...the manager was extremely courteous, from beginning to end. Great food, reasonable menu... seems like a good place for luncheon's or group's to meet over food..

The staff is wonderful!!! Our food was delicious!! Loved the hush puppies I haven't had a good hushpuppy in years!! Highly recommend dinning here!!

We went for St. Patrick's Day. Food was amazing. Our server checked on is periodically and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be visiting again!

One of the best eateries in the NNK! Seared scallops, and the most delicious coconut cakes ever. Bring your appetite y'all!

Took my mom for Mother's Day. Excellent food. Seared scallops and collard greens were perfect. Will be back!
