Preston's Springs Park

Back in the late 60's early 70's, this cave spring and the railroad track nearby was our playground. We use to walk deep within the cave, as you could back then. I will be visiting within the week and shall see how it has changed.

It was hard to find at first, didn't know exactly where I could park but it wasn't that hard after I saw someone and asked. Pretty little place to go. Quiet and peaceful

Super neat place. Very nice place to visit. There wasn't anyone there, while I was exploring. The trails are a little over grown. But there was a nice big open space, I think people had had a full moon circle ritual, because there were flowers all around, in a circle. I enjoyed seeing it, a lot.
The water had a little cave, it reminded me of another cave near Legacy Trail. (You have to look for that one....I like to traipse all over)

So peaceful and beautiful we love coming here seasonally just to escape from life

Has some real hiking hidden away behind it's quaint exterior. The origin of the creek that runs through Lexington and also 1 mile away from McConnell Springs by railroad tracks. This area is really good about opening up to new areas.

A wonderfully serene walk in the woods. An abject deviation from the industrious norm of lexington.
