Gainesway Park

Nice walking trail, pond with fountain, basketball court, benches, and plenty of trees for shade. There's only one or two picnic tables that I saw. Overall, a beautiful place to walk or just sit by the water and watch the water fowl swim.

Pretty decent Park just to sit back and enjoying looking at the wild life!

Nice park for all activities. Baseball field, basketball court, playground, walking trails, and picnic areas. The lake provides a pretty view with a nice touch for the walking trail. We play Pokémon Go here and there are 5 gyms here. There are meet ups here often!

On this deck/dock: I've met people from Bengali, Chicago, Somerset, and right there in the neighborhood. I've caught the biggest catfish ever in my life. I hooked, landed and cooked the first and last turtle 🐢I'll ever do. I lost in the pond: sunglasses, a net and a pole. I got my pole back a couple weeks later. This year I got bitten by the fishing bug and this has been a great place to scratch that itch.

Maybe we could have some students volunteer to pick up trash for some kind of extra privilege. That could be a good way to keep the park clean. It was pretty unkempt out there today. Way overgrown, too. Such a shame because it's a really beautiful park.

Peaceful and comfortable needing some work done on the kids playground and the building is falling apart needing repairs done Asap. Great playground for really young kids. I take my one year old here. It has soft rubber matting surface food for new walkers. And there are swings for babies.

It was raining and I didn't get to stay long. . But. . . It's a beautiful little park hidden away in the concrete jungle. I'll definitely cast a line again when in the area.

Family friendly, fun, and safe place for kids to play. Be cautious of driving by school construction zones.

Lots of biodiversity... The tree with the spring running out from beneath it is beautiful. It's a great place to walk

I just moved to the area. It seems clean and safe. Will be visiting again.
