Delicious food and coffee! The prices were reasonable for the quality and taste of the food and coffee. The atmosphere was lively, and the seats turned over quickly. There’s one bathroom, so you might have to wait several minutes — be prepared if it’s an emergency, ha — but the shop was overall a great experience with awesome food. I’d recommend this place to any coffee or treat lover!

Lovely cupcakes! Ordered the Karen birthday, red velvet, and then also the cheesecake brownie. Everything was divine.

You can also buy a candle for an extra dollar. Friendly staff and can get crowded. Appreciated that the cupcakes aren’t too sweet.

THE BEST CUPCAKES I’ve ever had, seriously, forget the other cupcakeries. Moist, large, great icing, nothing sickeningly sweet. And the other baked goods are phenomenal too. The coffee is absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is chill and the workers are nice and helpful.

Georgetown, DC is renowned for its cupcakes, and the best shop for them is Baked & Wired. They’re often crowded, but it’s worth the wait.

Also, tip from a (former) local, there’s two lines inside: one for baked goods and one for coffee and drinks. The coffee line is often shorter, but you need to wait in both to get both.

Stopped by here finally after someone had recommended it to me when I first moved to Georgetown.

I was looking to setup and work for a bit on my computer, but quickly determined it wasn’t a cafe to do that. They don’t have WiFi and the seats are not necessarily comfortable for long stints on a laptop, but what they actually have created is a nice quiet spot for people to meet, gather and spend time with each other. It’s a very nice haven.

I also think I will come back for writing / manual work in order to relax and spend some time without the notifications of email and slack popping up.

The cider I ordered was good and I was happy to see that option on the menu, especially during these chilly days in January.

Thank you.

Baked & Wired is such a fun, and cute little spot to stop in to grab a drink and a sweet treat. Their cupcakes are super yummy and come in lots of flavors. They’re larger than an average cupcake, and relatively denser cake. I’ve had every flavor, but it’s hard to pick a favorite. It can get really crowded and always seems to have a line. Definitely worth a try!

Truly delicious coffee and dessert place. Amazing vibe and a cool place to sit and have coffee. Cool flavored cup cakes that you will not see anywhere else. It is a must visit.

Great neighborhood coffee shop!! I came for breakfast and had the oatmeal (delicious!!) and the banana walnut bread. Also loved their seasonal drinks. Service was a bit slow, but worth it!

I love baked and wired! Their cupcakes are good, their baked goods are good, and their coffee is amazing. The service is always great! My favorite is when they have their cinnamon rolls on special— the best cinnamon rolls in DC. You really can’t go wrong with anything there— their biscuits began my love of combinations of rosemary and goat cheese and chive and goat cheese. For baked goods, I am a fan of their OMG Bars, buckeye brownies (midwesterner right here), and the lil Bertha. Go to cupcake is probably chocolate doom, but I’ve tried most and they’re all amazing! A must visit if you’re in the area.

The absolute best cupcake you’re going to find in the world. Prove me wrong. I bet you can’t. And this is coming from someone who doesn’t really enjoy cakes or cupcakes much. There was a line when I got there, but it goes by fast. The staff is friendly and didn’t rush me while deciding on which flavor to choose from. Really cute place and would go back to try more flavors!

Stopped in Georgetown just to try this place out and we were not disappointed. They had really good lattes and I tried the chaider, it had a nice presentation and great flavor. For food we tried the tessita cupcake, carrot cake cupcake, and the bee sting. The cupcakes had really good icing to cake ratio. The tessita was definitely on the sweet side, too sweet for our liking for a breakfast item definitely more of a dessert. I wish we had grabbed more to bring home!

Baked and Wired in Georgetown is a dessert lover's dream, offering a delightful array of treats including their "OMG" dessert, a clever twist on s'mores that combines chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker in a heavenly bite. Their seasonal colorful cupcakes are also a highlight, with vibrant colors and delicious flavors that make each bite a delight. Whether you're in the mood for a classic treat or something more whimsical, Baked and Wired has a dessert that will satisfy your sweet cravings.

Cookie Bars:

OMG -8.75/10. Marshmallow and caramel are outstanding (I’d take more caramel). Chocolate very good. Not a fan of their graham cracker layer.

Chocolate Cheesecake-7.5/10. Very good taste and consistency but it’s just chocolate cheesecake. No bells or whistles.

Soccer Mom- 8/10. I don’t like coconut or nuts in my candy bars. Those weren’t too bad in this one. Butterscotch chips were D-lish. But needed more.

Coming for a straight espresso shot and it’s delicious!

I wish I could see what beans they are brewing without asking. It could be done by simply attaching a bean bag to the bean hopper on a grinder.

The best coffee I had in dc this trip - and delicious biscuit too. I wish they did the biscuit sandwiches here but this location is still great with outdoor and indoor seating and so many cupcake flavours.

I stopped into Baked & Wired with my sister and my niece. We picked up a few goodies. The cupcakes were excellent. The young lady in charge of the door was a little power-hungry. I was raised right. I know how to close a door.

Apparently, this is the place for coffee in Georgetown! We go there a few minutes before 8 am (when they open), and a few diehards were already lined up ahead of us. I tried the cold brew and an almond croissant, and both were excellent. The vibe inside is that of an art gallery, with Emo music that was playing a bit too loudly for the hour. The locals seemed to like it! The staff were friendly. We would definitely return.

The oatmeal creme pie was amazing. The cupcake was delicious but just a cupcake!

Nice quaint bakery in Georgetown with lots of different varieties and choices. The cupcakes were really rich and shareable. The marshmallow was a cool quirky little concept and the kids loved it. The snickerdoodle was good but just a tad bit too hard for my liking. Would totally recommend and take some time to enjoy the surrounding area if possible.
