Exceptional service!
Our son is a freshman at UK and broke his front teeth in an accident overnight. We are from Massachusetts and don’t know anyone in Lexington. Dr. O’Donnell was recommended by a parent page and our experience was amazing.

The office staff was extremely professional and empathetic. They handled the insurance and got right back and went over the coats. I should add that the rates are very reasonable.

They were able to schedule our son the same morning, so two root canals and install temporary crowns on the spot. Permanent crowns will come a week later. The doctor also called us and took the time to explain the whole process.

Huge relief that our son won’t have to walk around his new school with broken teeth!

We really appreciate the care that Dr. O’Donnell and his staff provided to our son on a moments notice and strongly recommend the practice!

Dr O’Donnell is extremely meticulous and thorough in his work. The staff is also very helpful and courteous with any questions I have had. I would highly recommend his practice to anyone

I've been coming here since we moved to Lexington over 4 years ago and have always had a very good experience. I was especially impressed at my last visit with a hew hygienist named Sharon. Sharon knew exactly how to resolve my problem with inflamed gums due to popcorn husks, and she numbed the area first to help me be as comfortable as possible. The office atmosphere is always pleasant and in a good location.

I really wanted to come to this practice however I made an appointment back in early December and was scheduled for like early January. They cancelled it due to COVID which I totally understand I also work in healthcare. Well I get rescheduled for Feb and they cancel me as well due to this anticipated ice storm (also understandable) however the next available appointment for a Saturday (I schedule Saturdays because also working in healthcare) wasn’t until like mid April.

I’ve never even been to the practice and when initiating care there which started in Dec I won’t be seen until April? I appreciate they are open on Saturdays but I guess not open to me lol.

I’ll try again and try to update this review but just a little aggravated.

UPDATE:
I rescheduled for week days and it was not super inconvenient. It’s been actual years since I’ve seen a dentist and this practice made me feel welcomed. So I saw Dr. Ruth for my dental exam and she was actually younger than I am (I’m 31) however she was very professional and knowledgeable. Since my first visit I made 4 appointments to get my teeth worked on and I feel comfortable coming to this practice.

I had to have my first root canal ever this year. Dr. G made the experience very comfortable and was super caring throughout the process. Even called to check in on me! This is my first google review, so five stars to you Dr. G. !

I have been going to Dr O'Donnell for several years and had some extensive dental work done. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff there is wonderful!
I have referred several friends to him. They are also really good with children. My 3 yr old grandson has been in for a cleaning and was very comfortable.

Nice Pic Doc! Best dentist i ever had. Root canal was painless. I have been back to the office for a cleaning since renovation ... same dentist and office just bigger, better, and much more beautiful and impressive. Dr. O works with another dentist (at least one that I know of) so they are doing great with the bigger business.. Dr. O said, "Call if you need us" after he checked my teeth. This Dr. deserves NOTHING less then 5 stars. PERIOD. Once my cap fell off. I had an appointment within 4 days and Dr. O fixed my cap in about 5 minutes. He WAS ON IT! Nobodies entirely perfect are you? but if you want professional and NO PAIN with good emergency treatment this is definitely the place to go.

Simply can not say enough praise about the entire staff! Had to have extensive work on all my teeth. Everyone makes you feel confident and safe. I would absolutely recommend Dr O'Donnell and all his girls. They turned what I thought would be a nightmare into a wonderful experience. I even love Myles at the Lab they use. and. Oh... My smile is beautiful!

First dentist I have been to since moving from Louisville. All of the staff is very friendly and they make you feel right at home. Had my teeth cleaned on a Friday when they noticed two cavities. They were able to fit my in the following Monday to have them filled. This is a Great dentist off and would recommend everyone goes here.

Through my life I have been in the dentist chair I don’t know how many times. Between braces as a teenager, route canals and crowns as a adult, I’d say I have a good gauge on the expertise of each dentist I’ve seen.

This is usually based on level of pain or discomfort I experienced in the dental chair.
I’m not ashamed to say I’m a wimp when it comes to shots and drills etc. I think the word I would associate with dentists would be =trauma.

My experience with the staff was welcoming, warm and professional. Dr Galbreath asked questions and was very kind to me. I felt that he truly cared about my well being. Unlike another big chain assembly line dentist that just wanted to pull the tooth. I’m glad I got a second opinion.

The procedure was great. The best I’ve had and I won’t hesitate to recommend anyone come to this dentist if your unhappy with your smile, scared of the dentist or starting to feel a little pain when you eat. Get in now! The sooner the better.

I am terrified of only two things in this world and they are Dentists and Spiders! However, Dr. O'Donnell and his staff at O'Donnell Family Dentistry has made this practice a great place to visit! He and his staff are extremely helpful, professional and very courteous. For someone, like me, who hates to go to the dentist, I actually don't mind going to see them! I just found my new dental office. I came in for a cleaning and I was so impressed with the office. The girls up front welcomed me in the door. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth was very thorough and I could tell she really cared about me. I got to meet Dr. Matt VanZanten and he checked to make sure my teeth and gums looked ok. What a great overall experience. I usually hate going to the dentist but everyone here made it enjoyable. I will be sending all my family and friends here.

The staff was friendly on the phone and easy to work with when I arrived for my first appointment. I had a great experience with Dr. Jones and his staff. I was able to figure out a treatment plan and look forward to going back.

I must admit going to the dentist has never been my favorite thing to do. However, Dr. Jones and his staff really do create a pain free and comfortable environment. This is the best office around! Highly recommened!!

There is so much I can say about the staff at O'Donnell dentistry. Actually the word staff doesn't describe it well enough at all, it is the family at O'Donnell dentistry that strives to make each patient feel special and in good hands during each visit. After getting in a bike wreck I knocked out a few of my teeth and knew it was going to be a long road ahead of me regarding dental visits. Being from Chicago and just being in Lexington for school, I had no dentist here and I had no idea what I was going to do. My roommate and I called everywhere and everywhere we called, would not see me on a Saturday. Finally, I called Dr. O'Donnell's emergency number and him and his associate, Dr. VanZanten, took time out of their weekend to come work on my teeth. After a few appointments and a lot of work, I cannot begin to thank my dentist Dr. VanZanten and his colleagues for the amazing job they did. My teeth look better than they did before my accident. As they could all probably tell you, I was deathly afraid of the dentist and I was so nervous for my first appointment. Now I can walk in there and I know I'm in good hands and they make me feel like family. Words cannot describe my gratitude for this office and they really do redefine the standards of a "family dentistry." I would recommend this place to everyone in and around the Lexington area for their amazing work and positive vibes, you all are an amazing family.

Dr. Galbreth has been my dentist for years. I do business in China and I always fly back to see Dr. Galbreth for dental work. He’s a great person, you’ll be charmed in no time. Plus the 48 yrs of experience helps... you know your in good hands.

Dr. O’Donnell and the entire staff are just amazing. Have been a patient for 8+ years and have had many different procedures done and all with perfect care and compassion.

Dr. Galbreath has been our family dentist for many years, having moved into the O"Donnell practice about two years ago. He is personable, helpful, and very professional. The care my wife and I have received is extraordinary!
