SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lexington Near the University of Kentucky

Where do I start?! We own a small business and are focused on delivering exceptional customer service so we pay close attention when we go somewhere. We reserved online but wanted to verify we had a pet room. The lady who answered the phone at the hotel desk was extremely welcoming!! When we checked in the young woman and young gentleman at the front desk were smiling, welcoming, polite and helpful. I asked about things to do and they both started offering suggestions and wrote everything down for me. We did all we could on the list and had a wonderful evening exploring Lexington.

Great location. The hotel was less than 10 min to the Distillery District or Downtown. Rooms were clean. Beds comfortable. Nice lobby. Didn’t use the pool but there were several families who did. Nice outdoor patio with ample tables. Only negative is I didn’t get any of the staff names so I could give them a shout out. We checked in @4pm Mar 14 so they can be recognized by management. Thanks for a great overnight stop on our way to Florida. Definitely recommend d this facility!!

I don’t typically write hotel reviews and I travel a lot for work. I’ve been to numerous Marriott locations across the country, and even though I have nothing to complain about, they’re front desk service is all blandly the same (which is fine). However, when I checked in on Wednesday evening of January 10th, 2024 at this hotel there was a young woman stationed at the front desk and she was very positive, upbeat, caring, and went out of her way to make sure my needs were met. She is not someone you typically see and experience working a hotel front desk. She very easily will one day have a management role, she was incredibly professional and kind. Good job, please keep people like her. And I wish her the best in her future endeavors.

spent a great night here. Spacious room, very clean, quiet... heating unit operated well and was not noisy. Stella was fun to talk with at front desk. We had a wonderful stay!

Front desk service was outstanding. Rooms were neat, clean and spacious. In nearly 50 years I haven't had a more restful night of sleep. The lady working the breakfast area could use a hand during rush hour. Too much to be done by one person between continually restocking food and removing trash. Overall great stay.

Safe and easy to get to UK. The handicapped accessible bathroom needs attention as the shower floods the bathroom. Clean and very comfortable rooms.

Jarret was wonderful. We needed 2 rooms for an unexpected trip to the hospital. Jarret stayed on the phone and talked me through options of rooms for my Mother. It was sincere customer service. He made a stressful situation bearable.

Great location close to the university. Rooms were clean, quiet, updated, and spacious. Would stay here again. Gotta check out DV8 Kitchen for breakfast; it’s right in the parking lot!

We could not have asked for a better hotel experience for the weekend. We came up with our girls travel basketball group and Shelton (the manager) was so accommodating! They provided karaoke, popcorn, and snacks for our girls and the overall experience was excellent! When we play basketball in Lexington again, we will for sure be staying there!

Decent hotel near downtown. Entry is behind a few other businesses. Staff was very polite and helpful. Very small indoor pool, nice size workout room with weights, ellipticals, bikes and treadmills. Rooms are good size, clean and updated.

Cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff was very nice and helpful. Beds and pillows comfy. I really liked that they have USB ports built right into the bedside lamps and the desk. And the free parking was a plus. Having a kitchenette was very nice, and they even had a small selection of frozen entrees in their little snack store. I would definitely stay there again next time I visit.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Five of us stayed in one room, two double beds and the couch. We were not crowded. They offer breakfast which was great, staff super friendly and they had a small coffee bar that was available all hours. I highly recommend here and will look forward to another stay.

We used this hotel for our wedding guests to stay at. We had lots of family and friends traveling from out of town. It was perfect! The staff is very sweet and accommodating. The hotel is updated and very nice! It is a great location and within walking distance from the Round Barn Stable of Memories. We used the conference room as a bridal suite and it turned out perfectly. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our family and friends still talk about what a great experience they had at the hotel. We cannot thank you all enough!

The hotel was extremely clean and the staff from the front desk to housekeeping were great. The location is convenient, good breakfast with a clean service area that was attended by several. As far as the room, comfortable bed, nice space with most amenities. Water pressure in the shower was a little low but adequate. Also, I found the room well insulated from hall noise. The pool was very clean and well maintained.

This was a very nice hotel! Our room was very nice and roomy! Our beds were comfy and it had a really good shower private toilet area. It was like a suite I want to say because it had like a sleep couch and two TVs a little kitchenette area super nice! I went with my best sister friend, so we had two separate beds and it was very nice and quaint! And the staff was very helpful and very nice! And Bridgette the night Clerk was very informative and helpful and very kind, I definitely know I made a friend there!! And of course I definitely planned on coming back to Lexington this was my first trip and there's so much more I want to do there and missed out on so I will be back again exploring more of my state!!

Very nice location. Close to the university but out of the main thoroughfare so it's nice and quiet. Free parking, included breakfast and close to several restaurants.

This is a great property I would definitely stay at again. Everything was clean and in good working order and all of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Great location near UK Campus. Stayed here a week for camp. Clean and friendly. Great breakfast. Tiny but nice pool.

My grandbaby was in the NICU at the hospital and I stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks. The staff was so kind, helpful, supportive and very accommodating. They asked about our little baby often, made me feel known and welcome. I didn’t feel so alone. Highly recommend this hotel.

The view was very nice the evening we stayed with the red mile casino horse track right outside the window.
This is a big property and was extremely quiet for our stay.
Minutes from downtown and excellent dining choices.

BEST HOTEL, this hotel had met all my needs and even had more, the pool was good but wasn't huge but still good for me and my family. The breakfast was really good especially the apple juice! The rooms were nice although we ordered a suite room for 5 people there were 2 beds and a pull out couch although it seemed very crowded. Bu the rooms were very nice and clean.
