Great doctor. The facility is quite old school, but they adhere to all needs. I was in a bad car accident a few years back and no one could figure out why I was getting terrible headaches. I’d been to multiple doctors before him and they couldn’t find anything. When I went to Dr. Owen he found in our first visit that my neck was possibly fractured. He helped me tremendously with advice and suggestions and great treatment plans. It’s very easy to get an appointment especially if it’s a sick visit. You can usually get in the same day. Staff is very sweet and driven to meet all expectations. Overall, it’s a great practice with a doctor who knows a lot about what he practices.

I and my family have been going to Dr. Owen for many many years, he is an exceptional doctor and cares about his patients health and well being. His staff has always been courteous and polite. I have and would refer anyone who has health needs to him.

Dr Owen is experienced and knowledgeable. He gets right to the point in his diagnosis and gives a thorough explanation. Dr Owen has not lost the art of medicine while also employing the new technical advances.

Dr, Owen has literally saved my life several times. Mrsa in 2006, sepsis c diff 2019, pneumonia,fungus infection in sinus, 3 blocked intestines, gall bladder..

Went to Dr Owens over a workers comp case.I feel he was very though and hope his results are what my attorney needs.

Knowledgeable doctor.

I've been using Dr. Owen for the past 3 or 4 years and overall it hasn't been a problem. In April 2018 I went for an office visit and in March 2019 found out that I had a balance due. Turns out, the office staff ran the wrong insurance for me and when they discovered that they said they would take care of the problem. They had the correct insurance on file. They did not fix the problem. Also, when I was in the office that day in March, they were surprised to find out my information was not in their computer. They didn't have anything except my file. It was very peculiar.

The debt got sent on to a debt collector. I've paid the debt so it wouldn't negatively impact my credit score, but I need it to be known that I ONLY had to do this because of a staff member's mistake. If they had done what they were supposed to do from the beginning, this would not have been an issue.

Additionally, the office uses a billing service to take care of all of their billing. They gave me the billing service information. I was able to contact them. The person I spoke to said first that the debt collector had a wrong amount and that they'd have to re-adjust that claim. They did do that, thankfully. But, they also said they would contact the doctor's office to see if they would re-assess the claim so I might not have to pay it. Dr. Owen's staff refused to re-assess the claim.

To clarify: They made a mistake, didn't fix the problem after finding the mistake, sent it on to collections, had an opportunity to fix it again and refused.

While overall seeing Dr. Owen wasn't a bad experience, working on this issue with his office staff was. I 100% do not recommend this office for any medical needs.

Unprofessional. Waiting over an hour past appointment time with no concern or apology from staff is not ok. Just seems like how they do business. Plenty of better offices in Lexington.
