The best! We have tried multiple vets, being left disappointed until finding this place. The staff here is nothing short of compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable. We have seen multiple doctors here and all have been great, and they always do their best to squeeze you in ASAP if something isn’t right with your pet. I’d recommend this office to anyone!

Very friendly and thorough service. Receptionist listened to my concerns and worked me in the first available appointment.. Staff treated my new fur baby with tender loving care. Dr. took time to answer all my questions and educate me on how to manage potential behavioral tendencies and overall wellness for my little girl. I look forward to a continued relationship with the Pet Clinic.

Very caring vets. They went above and beyond to try to save my Loki. Even when she didn't make it they spent valuable and appreciated time with me.

Dr. Lorens' practice in Martinsville is an absolute triumph for animal lovers in this city. We had very few options before this clinic opened, with the choice to either drive out to Patrick County or Bassett for a good experience or strive mightily to deal with the not very kind front desk staff at the clinic in Collinsville.

I've worked with at least a dozen professionals on Dr. Lorens' team and they are all fantastic. And, he is an absolutely premier doctor which is no small victory for a city of this size. I have literally, in the true sense of the word, seen him put a life back together through his skill and passion. I split time between here and Denver, CO and even there I found myself constantly missing the quality and professionalism that I grew so accustomed to here (although I did eventually find a great practice in Denver, too).

Dr Lorens and the entire staff were friendly and warm people. My puppy Ginger was treated like family. Loved it! They answered any and all of my questions and Ginger's first vet visit was great! ❤

The Drs n Staff were very curtious n Understanding when it came to the care of my dog. I thought my dog had to be put to sleep but Dr Lawrence performed surgery on her n saved her life !! I would recommend Pet Clinic to Everyone !!! They Are Awesome !!!!

Very good! Checked our Nicholas over every which way. We appreciated them getting us in while traveling. Consultation, Meds and we were on our way!

First time visit with my two dogs for their annual check-ups and shots. Even during times of COVID they were cautious, very friendly, professional, fast and very thorough and even said my pups were wonderful patients. My two furry friends will be back!

Everyone was wonderful! From the Receptionist to the Veterinarian! I brought my critically ill dog in and they immediately started working to find what was wrong. I was facing a horrible decision if the treatments prescribed didn't work. It's now 5 days later, she still isn't 100%, but she's eating, and felt like playing some today! The treatments are working!! We're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!! 🙂

We had our little boy cat Max neutered there today . The staff kept us up all day on how he did and how he was coming along afterwards.
They made sure that I knew everything I needed to in case of an emergency before I left.
Awesome group of people who really seem to love these animals.

Everyone is courteous and almost more patient than my personal primary care physician. This will be my place for Ewok (5-month Shih Tzu).

I cannot put into words the compassion and respect the staff here have. When our cat became suddenly ill we rushed her to the nearest vet. We were met outside and they rushed our baby inside to help her. We had to make the hardest decision ever and the staff was there right beside us crying as we said good bye to our Sandy. They gave us all the time we needed and it was if she was a part of their family although they had never met her. I highly recommend The Pet Clinic of Martinsville and we will be allowing them to care for our dogs from here on out. Thank you to the entire staff for being there for us in our difficult moment!!

I originally took my old cat Buddy to the clinic figuring I’d have to put him down. We were in Martinsville for the races that week and a long way from home in DeerPark,Wa. I was devastated, but thanks to the care of the doctor and staff at the clinic, we were able to get him stable enough to get him home where he belonged. That was the end of October and he’s going strong. I know he won’t make it forever, but they gave us the blessing of having him for one more Christmas. Thank you all sooo much.

The people here are the best. I brought my Luna Bell here for emergency surgery....she had a kitten stuck in her from giving birth and the did a cesarean and they saved her life. They are caring and very professional. Best place ever.

Great place for your furbabies, have only brought my dog Lola for boarding but it was her first time away from us since a puppy and even though she had a rough time dealing with separation anxiety (as well as us missing her) she pulled through till the end and the care and love she recieved gave her as well as us much confidence that she was in great hands! The staff kept us updated while we were away with how Lola was doing and helped us by keeping us informed with her emotional well-being and care. We were truly grateful for their support and their obvious love for animals. We go on vacation again this year so we already have scheduled to have our Lola stay with this amazing family again at the Martinsville facility 😊

This veterinarian I've found has a passion for animal care. They respond to their animal patients with the same devotion we as owners have. My daughter, for example, went to another veterinarian when her cat was dying and they told her they weren't taking any more patients that day, even though she was in tears and desperate. I told her to go to the Pet Clinic of Martinsville and as soon as she walked in the door they rushed to her and took her beloved baby back to the medical rooms. The veterinarian was on the way home but turned around to come back and gave instructions over the phone to her vet techs until she could get there. Amazing care and dedicated team. Their work with the SPCA and their sister site, The Pet Clinic of Rocky Mount, have a loyal following in this area.
