The United States Postal Service is a great company that is one of the most popular delivery companies in America and is good at their job. I have used United States Postal Services my whole life with not only receiving mail but also within the last few years I have been selling online very successfully so I have learned alot about packing and shipping goods and merchandise all across the world. Sadly prices to ship products went up with USPS and as well as for every delivery service company available to me but they are the best for sending small lightweight items still today.

Was going to take 2 stars off because this issue, but my second point will explain why I decided not to. This issue could easily be fixed, but instead it wastes a lot of peoples time and they seem to ignore it completely. The hours state that they’re open 24 hours for PO Box access, but this isn’t true and hasn’t been true for over 2 years, yet they haven’t updated the hours posted or online. It seems like they lock the doors between 7-9pm and open when everything else opens in the morning.

It’s frustrating because there’s no communication about it. At first I thought it was for remodeling, but they’ve been finished with that for quite a long time. Then I thought there was some other circumstantial reasoning where they needed to close early temporarily, now I’m wondering if they’ve just quietly changed the hours but would like people to believe they’re still open 24 hours each day.

It would be nice for them to simply acknowledge whether or not it’s temporary and change the hours posted to reflect reality

Other than that I admire the hard work USPS employees and drivers continue to do and appreciate how well they manage the large increase of Mail since COVID-19 and I imagine much larger packages from ordering essentials online instead of shipping locally. You guys deserve much better pay, appreciation, and acknowledgment. The amount of entitlement and lack of empathy/respect is distorted and hopefully that changes soon and people realize how privileged we are to have USPS.

Thanks folks.
Can you please update your lobby hours or better yet just stay open according to the hours posted?

I think the customers who work with our postal service team on a daily bases need to let the community know they are dependable, hard working, customer oriented people and we are very thankful for them. They process our deliveries quickly with precision everyday (holidays are not a picnic for them). Please be patient when waiting in line. Their is much more going on at the post office then what you see at the front counter. Keep up the great work. We depend on you and appreciate all that you do! Keep smiling!

Wonderful friendly people work behind the counter here! Always have happy voices and are extremely helpful & polite. We're so fortunate to have such great folks working a job that would prob stress most others out (think about all those grouchy customers they must deal with on a daily basis... Ugh no thanks lol). Thanks for your service, USPS!

I have received nothing but courtesy and excellent service for 20 yrs. at this historic post office. Of course, whenever possible I try to go at the least busy times...a tip...if there are four or more spaces open in front, it's a good time to go. Otherwise, be patient. They're doing their best.

My dad worked here for over 30 years and I still use the post office box he got in the 40s. The only time I had a problem was after the Camp Fire when our office was overwhelmed. They do everything they can to accommodate customers.

Everytime I come to get money orders the clerks are very nice and patient and they’re doing a great job. And my mailman Adam is such a nice guy and I wouldn’t want anyone else, you definitely have yourself a great worker.

Very nice OVERWORKED people. FEMA should kick down money for an extra position since the Campfire has added thousands of residents overnight. Makes for LONG 40 min. waits sometimes.

I love all of the employees who I have dealt with, they are nice, caring and love swapping jokes. Only bad thing are the annoyed customers who think they deserve heaven on earth.
