I've been using Jake and Team for years, they do an amazing job. They are extremely thorough, honest, and keen on all relevant tax laws to help clients strategize to what's best for them. I can't recommend them enough, my experience has been 5 stars!

I have been using JB Accounting for 5 years now and have never had any issues with them. I feel that their price is fair. And the peace of mind knowing that my taxes are done correctly and in a prompt manner is the best. It is always a pleasure seeing Lee once a year for my taxes. Started using Jake for our personal taxes years ago. Since then he's helped us set up our business, trained us on quickbooks, and now does all our bussiness and personal taxes. Very knowledgeable, good at his job, personable, and funny. Who knew you could actually enjoy a tax appointment? We drive up to Logan from Pleasant Grove to use him. Not sure how many accountants we pass on our way up, but we feel like its worth it and will continue to do so.

We have worked with Jake for several years now. He has been the best accountant to work with. He knows his stuff and is very knowledgeable! He has saved us money every year! I'm so glad we found him, you won't regret having him as your accountant!

We have used JB Accounting for a few years now and have always been very happy. We have complicated taxes due to my husbands job and Jake understand them and gets them done very quickly and accurately. We have since moved out of state and will keep coming back to this office because of the professionalism and knowledge to get us the most out of our taxes in a honest manner. He is always great to warn us of tax changes that may affect us and always keeps us in the loop. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have worked with Jake for the past 5 years and he has helped educate me about money. This helps me plan our year better and overall not be fearful to make more money! His direction and management of my taxes for personal and business has been a big key to my growth.

-So it has been a few years since I wrote my original review about Jake and his company. In the time I have been able to do business in various industries and have written hundreds of reviews. One of the things that shows the character of a business is the way in which they respond to a review. As you can see Jake's response is very professional where he owns the fact that he made a mistake even though it was most likely the costumers (my) fault. So I should have modified this review a long time ago but here it is a little late but still here.

Jake is legit and I have actually sent a couple of guys his way since I left. Unfortunately I have another guy doing my taxes now but if I were to do the whole thing over again. I would go with Jake

I just recently started a business and had them do my taxes. When I went in for my first appointment with the owner he was wearing jeans and a T-shirt and had a large screen TV on with a video game on. I honestly didn't think too much of it, having lived with a bunch of single dudes I actually kind of liked the atmosphere, until now, months later I realize that was just the beginning. In order to meet with the owner I had to set multiple appointments because he kept having to move them and re-schedule even to the point of having me meet with somebody else over the phone. I was incredibly busy last semester taking 17+ engineering credits and planning a wedding so when I make an appointment I expect it to go through.

Also when taking to them about filing taxes the employee pretty much said that I was incompetent and would not be able to file my taxes without them and would get audited if I tried. I know I am not the smartest person out there but at least some tact would be nice when talking to a costumer.

So in the end they did save me money on my taxes, I suppose, and I have paid them hundreds of dollars to do it. If I had the time I would be filing my own dang taxes next year, but I don't so I will stick with them until I am out of my current job and then I will drop them like a rock and if I need help in the future I will look elsewhere.

Jake is the man! Super fast, great at his job, and very easy to work with!
I always recommend him to people looking for an accountant, or people all foolishly still doing their own taxes!
Definitely give him a try, it’s worth every dollar!

JB Accounting & Tax has been preparing our tax returns for years. They are always pleasant, friendly and helpful. They ask questions to see if we forgot to tell them about anything that might impact our tax return. They email me each year to remind me to set up an appointment. They are very quick but thorough. I trust them with my finances!

We've done our taxes with Jake ever since he took the business over from Larry. We would never go anywhere else! Jake answers every question that we have at tax time and throughout the year. We are so happy he can do our taxes even with us moving all over the country! Jake and his staff are wonderful!

We have been with JB Accounting and Tax for several years. Every year I am impressed with Jake who will answer my questions, is current on the newest tax codes, and helps us accurately calculate an honest tax for our personal and business accounts. Last, but not least, I like how organized and sleek the prepared taxes look in my filing cabinet!

I can't recommend Lee enough. He has been so helpful. He explains everything so patiently - you feel like a tax expert when you walk out. Each time I've been in the office I've felt very welcome and I've never felt rushed. My wife and I were audited this year and Lee walked us through every single step, start to finish. When we had to mail bunches of paperwork, he had all the pages organized into stacks with destination addresses written on sticky notes. He overheard my wife and I discussing that we'd need to go to the store to get some envelopes, and he generously insisted that we use some of his own envelopes. I appreciate that he is always willing to help and is so generous with his time and resources. We will definitely be back.
