Central Park at Mill Creek

I go fishing a lot and caught a lot of catfish,bass, and carp. Ive been fishing at mill creek for 13 years and remember to have your fishing license with you at all times.

Beautiful, breathtaking <3 You can relax and enjoy the water sounds and watch the ducks, you can go there to paint, and you can take pictures with everything if you're a style blogger. I'm actually going to start coming here from now on to teach fashion illustration. My students loved the inspirational decor and fresh air.

Lately trips to Bakersfield have been very routine and plain boring, this morning we stopped at this park and it was the best choice we could have made. We saw geese and learned some of the duck types, we walked around and felt so peaceful, even had a small condo with a fellow park goer. I couldn't help bur take so many pictures, it was just beautiful.

Nice green park. Playground is nice for toddlers and preteens. Bridge is a nice feature for photo ops, also the pond brings ducks so that cool for kids and adults to feed bread.

Great place to go for pokemon community days or events. Also the geese are quite a show.

Very nice and cute~Walking along the little river in a sunny afternoon is such a pleasant and unforgettable experience.

I love this park it's a good place if you want to take your kids or just go on a stroll..

It's a beautiful park with a river running through it. A walkway on both sides of the river is well shaded with plenty of places to sit and enjoy feeding the ducks if you like. Throughout the year there are art and music events to enjoy,as well as being a great place just to relax with the family

Sadly I have no pictures but I was today hanging out my friends and my friend boyfriend earlier and it was very beautiful and I love the water and the water falls. And one time I was legit by myself and hearing the water and the ducks, was very peaceful. Please never shut this place down. We all love it here. Thankyou for creating such a peaceful place for us young people bringing our elderly here.

I was only here for a few minutes but it seemed peaceful and was a pretty early morning view

this is an excellent place to visit, great atmosphere, and awesome staff...when you arrive, a young lady named Terri will great you with a smile. and upstairs is a gentleman named Kevin, and the upstairs is a full of nostalgic items. so many beautiful antique pieces, definitely a great place to shop

It was my first time visiting Bakersfield Ca . and this park is great and well maintained plus perfect for Pokemon hunting. XD.

Beautiful park. Love the water, bridge, and play ground. The sponge ground around the play ground equipment is perfect. My grandchildren fall without getting dirty or hurt. Love it. Such a peaceful place. Saw a wedding while I was there. And a plus with the parking lot close to the playground. Lots of trees for shade.

One of the better parks by far. Restrooms near kids play center is tidy and has a drinking water fountain. Safety swing set available. The "bridge" is beautiful and my favorite spot for duck feeding fun! There is a gorgeous gazebo for whatever your heart desires. Great kid friendly nature-y adventure in the heart/center of Bakersfield.

I love coming to this park with my son, it's peaceful & nice. I like that there's ducks & there's 3 parts of the park so lots of walking, which is good. There's a play ground & there's bathrooms here!
The only down side is .. I sometimes see a lot of trash that people leave behind, but other than that.. great park! 👍

It was very peaceful and beautiful aside from a couple homeless people and a few spots covered in trash I really enjoyed walking through and seeing all the bird and ducks out there

Like to take a fish stop here every once and a while even if I don't catch a fish maybe a duck lol jk

This park is awesomesauce! I come in the evening to enjoy the scenery and ducks. On the First friday every month there is a family movie playing around 8 p.m. Although, it is not entirely family friend around certain times of the day and personally have had some interesting experiences to say the least. Awesome nonetheless! 👍

One of the nicer parks I have been to in Bakersfield. Surprisingly beautiful scenery in downtown Bakersfield. Nice water features,bridges, and walking path. Also very nice playground for my 3 year old to play on. Highly recommend for families.

This park is way better since they revamped it a while back, there are a lot of cool things to see if you walk along the river. If you play Pokemon Go, this place has a lot of good Pokemon spawning all the time and enough Pokéstops to keep your bag full.
