Halfway through our road trip we were looking for an old dive & went to Frostees first. Unfortunately, everything was updated & charm lost. So, we drove the 3 miles to our other choice & we weren't disappointed.

We ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich $7, side onion rings $5, & the French burger sandwich meal $15, which included fries & a soda. This is an outside seated only drive in so we ate in the van out of the wind. Took apx 10 minutes to get our order. Better half said he was shocked by how heavy the old time carton felt in his hand.

Honestly, I should have gone with my gut & just ordered the French burger. HUGE. Easily enough to share. I ended up removing most of the giant hoagie roll to eat the burger. Fries & onion rings were cooked perfectly & the BBQ sandwich wasn't too sweet or tangy.

If you like old time dives, it's worth the visit

The owners/workers their are so nice and always in a good mood. My go to meal is the French Burger combo no onions with a Pepsi BOMB!

Good service clean but could use some updates food was good I recommend the deluxe cheese burger and onion rings fries are also good pastrami was good but I didn’t care for the bun to much bread and soggy overall good experience and prices are good fed the whole family of 5 for $30. It would be cool to see this place restored and have a cruse night with classic cars like they did in the 60s

Food was the best and the lady that took our order was amazing and generous... Everything was hot and cooked to perfection

I have been going to Andres since I was a kid. If you love fried burritos they have one called the big burrito that is is so crispy and satisfying! So big! Filled with homemade chili beans and cheese. They have good fries also. It's a treat from the past! Always delicious!!

Always loved there food since i was a kid.

We have been going to this place for many many years and the food is still delicious. Absolutely love their Big burrito. Its 2 meals in one. And their fries are probably the best in town, nice and crunchy and not overly salted. I think they use season salt. I tried their fried peach pie for three first time and it was yummy. They make them from scratch. If you have never been there I highly recommend it.

Hometown gem 💎 ✨ if you've grown up in Bakersfield, ca You will know that this place holds all the summer memories of the '80s 90s. Slightly different from them but will go back for the pastrami sandwich and fries. The service was friendly.

I love their seasoned crinkle cut fries! Crispy on the outside and hot on the inside. 5 star customer service and tasty burgers. I knew when I got a whiff of my to go order it was going to be good. Glad I found this Diners Drive Ins And Dives like spot.

Great place.. has a small town feel. Wish I could have used the little patio area. It was just too hot out. An even if it had umbrellas I'm sure it would be too hot

Absolutely my favorite place to get fast-food!! French burgers are amazing! With prices going up it’s only once in a while but so worth it

Me and boyfriend past by this place after school everyday and actually went to try it today omg amazing food! everything freshly cooked the burgers and fries!!! omggg so bombbbb 10:10 recommend

The place may not look five stars but it absolutely is! My family and I always come down to Andre's for the last meal in Bakersfeild and it's always the best no matter what we order! I highly recommend the shrimp dinner.

Great old school joint , love to kick back outside at the tables and watch the birds , the owner as well other people working there are awesome , food is great , if you like good old school burgers this is worth well worth the money

Haven’t been to this location in years. Had the French burger combo and a cherry pie. I got 2 meals out of the burger and fries. The only complaint I had was there was too little mustard, and I’ve always found that what set Andre’s French burger apart from other places was the mustard. Next time I’ll ask for mustard packs when I order.

It’s been around for years and this one is good good burgers good shakes good french fries good American à la carte stuff to eat.

This is a Bakersfield icon! The pastrami is some of the best in town and their fries are second to none! But don't stop there...the mini red chili burritos and even their fried burrito are delicious! Great burgers as well...

I love this place & stop by whenever I'm in Bakersfield. The food is decent, the staff is friendly and my order is always correct.
