Lunch with friends, Christian(5th generation family) was our server and he made sure we had everything we needed.
We sat on the back patio and the weather was absolutely perfect. All the food was delicious.

had the new York strip with the penne pasta with the Bolognese ( red ) sauce.the steak was cooked perfectly medium with a nice char it was delicious one of the best steaks I've had here in Bakersfield. the Bolognese sauce was rich with a deep flavor and it was fantastic. obviously I recommend what I had. great food great service I can't wait to Go back!!!

I have never had a bad meal here, been coming here frequently for years. The NY steak is outstanding, actually ALL of their food is delicious. The fish dishes are scrumptious.
On Tuesday they have prime rib special, my favorite is the prime rib sandwich, simply amazing!
On Friday, they have my other special, baby back ribs, they are simply outstanding!
They have excellent staff. This is probably the best Italian restaurant in town. They only serve lunch. Come early they always get crowded.

It was our first time dining at this restaurant and we came to celebrate a birthday. All the wait staff were nice, and the overall experience was excellent. I had the cheese ravioli and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had! To make it even better these two women dining, graciously paid for our meal to help with the celebration.

We got there a little pass 11 and was so packed. But we got to set right away and order some food. Spaghetti was delicious but it super noisy and so many people passing beside me I cannot enjoy eating so we got it to go and I just ate at home.

Wonderful eatery and deli featuring Italian cuisine. Originally opened 112 years ago and is operated by family members. The only problem I witnessed were too few wait staff. Of course this has and is occurring in many restaurants nationwide. Their deli was incredible with so many meats available there for sale. I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent there!

Not only is it the best Italian food I’ve had since moving to CA, but it’s owned and operated by the same family that started it over 100 years ago. Spoke to Gino today the owner, nicest guy you ever want to meet. I’ll definitely be doing business here more often.

Great food! Great service!! Reasonable prices. Just a hint.. get there early!! We were there at 10:35 (they open at 10:30) and there was already a line out the door, with a 30min wait... however, we got our seats in about 15... it's very loud but great to place for lunch!!

Great atmosphere. Great food! Omg the food. Atrentive an fast servers. Love that they have multiple team members helping with drinks etc.

Perfect venue for an office holiday party. Huge room and then more room in the back patio. Beautiful lighting inside and out, family style seating. Clean bathrooms. Bar prices were quite steep to me: $9 for rum and coke, $4 bottle Bud light. Food cooked to superb taste 😋 and placed on dishes aesthetically pleasing 😍

Just delightful, best spot to eat in Bakersfield by far! Raviolis and pasta is great, meat is great, watermelon salad! It’s just fantastic

The best authentic Italian food around. Great service, friendly staff, lively atmosphere amazing food. This is the only place I can eat steak anymore because anywhere else cannot compare. Expect a wait for a table most days.

Since 1910, phenomenal food. The best with over 100 years of history pouring out at you from the moment you walk in. The steak sandwich was the best I’ve ever had.

We were there in the warehouse for a 50th wedding anniversary. My first time eating there, first time with Basque food.
It was wonderful.

Such an amazing local spot in Bakersfield that has been open longer than I’ve been alive. This is a place I always bring out of town clients to and they are always left in awe. They also have a great hall next door you can rent out for private parties and events. Go check it out!

Family reunion, pasta dishes with red and white sauce. Tender stake, delicious rotisserie chicken, fresh chopped salad with peppers, meats, cheeses, light Italian dressing.

I attended a large party after a Celebration of Life and this is the first time I’ve been in the banquet hall. The room is beautiful and the food was so very delicious.

The place you’ll fall in love with immediately if you love Italy and Italian food. Beautiful indoors and outdoors. They also have a great selection of wines and deli at their store.
