The Shops at River Walk

My favorite shopping center in the entire county. A little bit of something for everyone from the band store to Jared, the galleria of jewelry. Lots of restaurants and I love the walking paths in the park. I cannot get enough of this park. I try to come here all the time.

One of the most beautiful places in the area. We find the people who frequent this area are well mannered and friendly but keep to themselves. There is also a great selection of stores.

The best shopping in Bakersfield, but there is no great place to shop. This mall has decent shops. It's spread out, so not really a place to walk around.

The shops at Riverwalk are growing and improving everyday. Good solid name brand stores have taken their home at this Shopping Center. There are lots of mainstream eateries to choose from such as Eureka Burger, Panera Bread, PF Changs, BJ Brewery, Starbucks, California Pizza Kitchen, and others. Prime shopping stores located in this mall are Target, DSW shoes, Sprout's, Nordstrom Rack and more. There are also a number of small businesses scattered throughout the center. This outdoor mall has easy access from both the street with street lights, and by walking via the Riverwalk and other sidewalks located in the adjacent housing neighborhoods. This facility is quite large and require some walking to get from one store to the next. You may want to park at one part of the mall, and then move your car to access other areas of the mall. There still seems to be more space available for expansion in this mall as stores and restaurants move in. Driving in this mall space has primarily been designed for beauty and visual design rather than for easy access and safety. Unless you know the Mall well you may find it difficult to navigate by car. The best entrance is between BJ Brewhouse and PF Changs, where are you can park centrally and move about the center as needed.

I absolutely love going to the California Pizza kitchen anytime that I am in town. I live in Oregon and visit Bakersfield every 3 months or so to see my grandkids.
Their patio is great to sit on anytime of the year. The staff is always extremely helpful and courteous. I love their summer salads and refreshing drinks.

Lots of great stores and restaurants and ample parking. You can always find a space even if it's not close to where you're going.

This is a smaller Yard House but they were able to accommodate seven of us with little wait on a Sunday evening. The service was great!

Beautiful area. The water makes a nostalgic environment with great shopping, places to exercise, and entertainment. A nice area to walk and shop.

All types of shopping stores, restaurants, a park nearby and a beautiful bike trail. Beautiful and quiet setting if you love nature. Within 5 miles of other main attractions like a movie theater.

Very nice shopping mall! It has a mix of good restaurants and clothing store etc. Everyone has been nice so far. Nothing bad here for me. Don't know for the other replies. 1 of the best shopping malls in Bakersfield!

Had lunch at the Chart House. It was wonderful. Food was the best and our server was on her game. Excellent.

I truly felt for the young lady who volunteered to take us on. Thank you for being an excellent hostess in the midst of our chaos. Food was good and you provided quality customer service. You toughed it out and if it means anything I appreciate your hard work in the midst of a difficult and chaotic situation.

Are at BJ's it's very delicious they also have healthy options, went to target it's clean though its very crowded. I was able to shop at multiple places, I had to make myself leave since they have so much to see, I would have basically lived there.

Went to Jared Jewelry Store for a new watch and ring. Wow they have a great selection and great prices. The service is grade A and they had a kidd corner with toys to keep my kids occupied while I was shopping.
