Started personal training with Alex 5 weeks ago. I followed his daily recommendations with diet and steps. I started seeing results pretty quickly! I enjoy working out with Alex and learning all he has to offer.

Shot in and shot out . Hit the weights , focus and concentration strong mind. Your bad reviews are about your feelings and worrying if there's dust here and there and the freakin bathroom and if there is AC or not.... WHO CARES!! GET YOUR HIT IN AND GO !! Sweat sweat sweat all over everyone and everything then your day will be beautiful !

After trying multiple gyms in the area I finally found the gym I was looking for! The staff and everyone that goes there is awesome and I love the atmosphere. You also can’t beat the price! I highly recommend checking this place out!

I came to Bakersfield for work for 8 months and have had a membership here at Iron Arms the whole time. This is my home gym in my heart forever. It’s sad I had to move back to Texas and leave it. The owner and crowd are great and I’ve seen a ton of gains in the time I’ve been here. World class equipment and great people. You will not be disappointed working out here. Gonna miss it.

Work sent us to Bakersfield, CA for about two years and we needed to find a good gym to go to before work and found Iron Arms. The owner and the people who lift here are very welcoming and helpful. So, if you ever have any questions feel free to ask and you’ll find some answers.

The hardcore and weight lifting gym in Bakersfield. I just moved here for one month, and it's my lucky to join the gym.

Excellent equipment at crazy fair price. Just over a dollar a day and it's 24 hours. The friendly dog is also a great motivator!

It’s not your traditional commercial gym. It’s more of a powerlifters and bodybuilder type. However, that doesn’t mean new people aren’t welcome. Everyone you talk to is friendly. Also, if you are new to fitness, they have a trainer (owner) and he’s great.

Can't say enough good things about this gym. 24/7 access and an affordable no commitment plan are what sold me on this gym.

Been using this gym about 4x a week for 2 years. It is always open. It has every piece of equipment and machinery I've ever needed. Owner gives out free preworkout during regular hours. Chalk provided. Lift as hard as you want. You can play your own music on the gym speakers. Everyone at the gym is respectful. Come here if you want to lift some heavy weight.

I’ve been a member of Iron Arm for over 4 months. And I love it!!! In 4 months I have gone from a size 9 to a size 6. My blood pressure and cholesterol is normal after being high for the past 10 yrs. You are going to get exactly what you are looking for from this gym. If you are looking for results that’s exactly what you’re going to get. If you’re looking around to nitpick well then obviously your focus is some where else. So my advice is get focus and get to work! The gym is clean and has enough of everything to get a well rounded total body workout. And if you ask for help you’ll get it. Since I’ve been a member all I have seen is very respectful focused members there. I feel very comfortable and welcomed. In the past I’ve gone to commercial gyms and in my experience commercial gyms are a total waist of money. My fault because I got exactly what I paid for. If you want real results (Raw Results) I highly recommend that you hire Alex as your trainer. It is so worth it (I promise you will not regret it) and I can honestly say you will see results. He knows his stuff and he will also give you a meal plan to follow (the meal plan is yummy). Alex unique workout plan is specifically designed to your needs. I have both rotator cuffs torn and I have never felt them compromised. Alex is very careful and considerate always asks how do I feel. And yet my arms are getting stronger and leaner. I wake up excited to go to the gym everyday and My energy level has gone up. Call Alex today and ask him for a free consultation. Best gym in Bakersfield by far! The environment is one of a kind and the people are always pumping each other up! Great for all levels of lifters but if you're ready to lift some heavy weight this is definitely the place for you.

I had to give this place 5 stars and if you see my reviews you’ll see I just don’t hand out 5 stars, you have to earn it. Every once and a while I come across something that I just want to keep to myself and this is one of those places. Today however you’re lucky I’m sharing it with you. When I look at all the gyms around this one offers something special, they have the old school feel with the modern equipment along with 24hr access. This gym also stand for something more. As I look at all these gyms and businesses folding, selling out, and abandoning reason, I can’t help but root for them. If you really want to help small businesses out and not see them shutdown due to government interference go support this gym & you won’t regret it. A beacon of hope in this side of town and even the city itself. This is a fear free zone. If you desire to live in fear this is not the place for you, go to planet fitness and I’ll gladly enjoy the space you won’t occupy here lol.

Love the community in this gym! I've been going here for almost a year now and this place has everything you need to sculpt that summer body. The staff and gym owner are super friendly and helpful to first timers and experienced gym goers alike. Plus free pre workout!

Jen is such an amazing worker, she brings joy to the gym and pushes anyone beyond their limits. She’s makes you realize you’re stronger than you think you are. Irons arms vibe is impeccable and everyone makes you feel like you belong there. 10/10 recommend

Undoubtedly, the best bodybuilding/ powerlifting gym in a 100 mile radius. The equipment available at this gym has been meticulously selected by someone who is a professional and understands kinesiology well. Mandatory workout spot if passing through Bakersfield.

I travel a lot for my job, stopped by early mornin to get a workout in; this gym is BADASS! It’s got old school feel with awesome equipment! Definitely recommend any person who wants to workout, to come in and check it out!

Great gym, offers day pass and personal training, open 24 hours and a great atmosphere. Knowledgeable owner and very accepting of all. New and experienced great gym for all.
